We had a great time and the house was so nice. Clean and plenty to do or just rest and relax. Nice cooking kitchen that could use some basic things such as kitchen towels and the basic cleaning products.. listing should be fixed to reflect the current bedroom offerings and pet policy. Listing seems outdated. Plenty of space for everyone and was comfortable. We really wish we would have been able to see the horses and cows and we couldn’t. That was disappointing. We only could hear them. Lovely property and I would stay again for sure!
We had 9 staying here and it felt like we could have easily had half a dozen more! It’s spacious, but comfortable & cozy feeling. We loved it and enjoyed our stay immensely - we will definitely be back!
We had no super major complaints, just a few wish list/tips.
It would be nice if the listings were reviewed for accuracy, one says 6 bedrooms, one says 7 and I think a few bed options changed from the images. The listing says water park/playground, no big deal for us that it’s not there and could impact someone else’s stay. (I asked before booking and got an answer, which was timely and appreciated!!)
The Bunkhouse was Amazing. We were here for Thanksgiving and kicked our Christmas season off right! The pictures of this property are great but when you walk through the door your like Wow! We had family that came over to eat Thanksgiving and there was more than enough room for us all to move around and prepare our feast! At all times you could find several sitting at the kitchen table reminiscing and telling stories! Made for an enjoyable clean up in the kitchen. Down stairs playing pool, or just sitting in the living room loving on the kiddos. I think a few squeezed in a nap.
The back porch was awesome to sit and watch the wildlife! Grill some steaks and enjoy the crisp air! You could always find the guys in the evening at the hot tub!
You are close to a dollar general, 10 mins from Krogers, and pigeon forge isn’t but 30 mins away (back roads) to go to the Dolly Pardon Stampede (it is so worth it all ages) the interstate is 5 mins to the right.
We will be back. Hopefully to see snow next time! Our family that lives in Knoxville were ready for us to plan our next trip!

We needed a place to stay close to Knoxville for a National cheer competition. The Bunkhouse was close enough but not in the thick of the city so it worked nicely for us. The view is nice and we enjoyed watching the cows and listening to the coyotes.
The house was very pretty. It was very clean. Would recommend this rental. It sets on a farm with beautiful scenery. A horse named Freedom and cows. Loved it!
This house was perfect for our vacation in the area. Lots of room. When we stayed before, we stayed in a cabin located on the mountain and it was closer to more attractions but we loved this location much more. It was out away from noise, busy streets, ect. We only had to drive about 40 minutes to get to the "big" attractions of the area, which was not bad at all. There were lots of places to eat, shop, ect within minutes. The hosts were quick to respond with any questions and the house was very clean and equipped. I recommend staying here and we would certainly return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
My family and I were in town for an event in Knoxville. This house was the perfect setting for us. Had everything we needed to feel at home, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a quiet beautiful and peaceful setting!
We had a nice family getaway. The house was clean and spacious with a relaxing back yard view. We enjoyed the hot tub, game room and the nicely decorated spaces. From the mocking bird singing all day, the beautiful horse & cows in the pastures, wild turkeys, groundhog spotting it was a stay enjoyed by all ages. We enjoyed our homemade strawberry ice cream on the large back deck sitting under the strawberry moon. We were close enough to other areas for enjoying a day at Gatlinburg and another at Soaky Mountain Waterpark. We would definitely stay again.
My family just returned from visiting Tennessee and we stayed at this fantastic bunk house. We have 4 teenagers (15+) and is was perfect. Everyone had enough space to do what they wanted, yet the kitchen table allowed us all to eat/play games together. I cannot say enough about this place. Tina was VERY responsive. If you're looking for a nice place to stay and don't mind driving ~40 min into the mountains/tourist attractions, away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, this is your place. We didn't mind the drive to do touristy stuff, especially when we knew we were coming back to a peaceful place. Highly recommend for multiple or large families.
Beautiful setting and wonderful accommodations for our large extended family for my daughter’s graduation. Thank you so much for sharing your property with us!
The house was clean and comfy. The WiFi was excellent and there was so much room. My favorite part was the kitchen. It was perfect for our large family. I would definitely recommend the bunkhouse.
The house was GORGEOUS and so private! The owner Tina was such a pleasure to work with. We stayed here and and drove to Pigeon Forge and to Dollywood a few days. It wasn't a bad drive at all. And it was nice to come back to the house and have so much privacy and not all the noise and things from town.
We absolutely love, loved the bunk house!! To bad it's not for sale, we felt right at home there.
Private yet close to anything you may need. Clean, plenty of room for everyone, comfy beds to boot :) Fully stocked, huge kitchen. The basement/ game area was a huge hit. It opens to the downstairs patio, so everyone could hangout together.
All though this property over looks a cow farm it's a beautiful, relaxing place, that doesn't smell like a farm.
Only downfalls we found, the master bedroom is in need of bedside tables bad. And the gate seemed to have it's own mind at times lol.
Everyone absolutely enjoyed our time there!!
Note: they have outdoor cameras on every corner of the house, it was a surprise but not a big deal to us. The driveway is a little intimidating but not hard to navigate. Plenty of parking!
Ken and Tina have to be the sweetest people we've never met!!!
Looking for to more stays w KT cabins (two and counting) glad we found them!
They know what there doing and you won't be disappointed staying at any of their properties.
Don’t be misled by the name Bunkhouse. Yes, there are 4 downstairs bedrooms with great bunks, but there are 3 beautiful bedrooms upstairs with Kings and Queens that are comfy and quiet. We were a small family of 3 so we didn’t use all the rooms but this house was a much better option than renting rooms at the nearby Hampton Inn. Did I mention “killer kitchen”? So spacious, big dining table, lots of counter space, a Kuerig (yay!), well stocked with pans and dishes. Gated and secure entrance down the private drive, beautiful scenery out your back door, plenty of parking front and back. Approx 20-25 min drive to Pigeon Forge. The owner is very responsive and kind. We loved it and extended our stay a day. May God bless this beautiful homestead!
Our stay at the bunkhouse was perfect! The house had more than enough space and rooms/beds! My family was very comfortable! The location was great, not too far from all of the things we wanted to see/do. Our dog, Chevy, made friends with the cows behind the house too! I highly recommend choosing TNCABINS4RENT! Also, I appreciated the family handbook that told us the owners favorite restaurants and attractions nearby! Very helpful when traveling to a new city!!!
This house was really nice and clean. We had my daughters commencements and we’re all able to hang out all be in one house . There was so much room. We had a wonderful time , close to shopping amd Restuarant s.
Everything in description and photos are spot on. We stsyed as a family here for our sons wedding.I definitely recommend this for large family groups plenty to keep all busy.
The Bunkhouse is a great property - Located close to the wedding venue (The Stables at Strawberry Creek) and downtown Knoxville. Plenty of room, very clean, comfortable furniture and cozy decor. Having the pool table, dart board, Basketball hoop and other games was perfect for our adult children and cousins from different states to get together and catch up. The hot tub was very clean, as was the gas grill. Would definitely recommend this property. Tina was very easy to work with and always replied quickly to messages. Great yard for the family dog too. Thank you Ken & Tina for letting us stay at The Bunkhouse.

Beautiful stay at the bunkhouse
The bunkhouse was a beautiful home and it was so comfortable to stay there. Loved our neighbors, the cows 😊. My labradoodle Angie and the cows became good friends !
The bunkhouse was beautifully decorated and it was extremely clean. Thank you for your hospitality Tina and Tim. It was a wonderful and memorable trip with my children and grandchildren !! We miss TN and the bunkhouse already 😊.
All the Best to you both
We loved our stay at the bunkhouse! Loved the big kitchen and being able to make family meals in there. The air conditioning went out during our stay, but Bill the maintenance man was able to fix it in a Sunday night, pretty amazing!!
Thanks for the wonderful stay
