Seaside house/villa with air conditioning WiFi and parking.

A number of our previous guests have said they liked our house because they felt so at home there, the supply of books in a number of languages, DVDs board games and the box of beach equipment and children's toys gave it a homely feel. please see reviews. The house is spacious with every modern convenience. Guests have commented on the quality and range of kitchen equipment .Great for summer sun, warm Autumn and Spring breaks. They also commented on the convenient location with shops bar restaurants all within walking distance. The house is set up with 1 DOUBLE ensuite bedroom on the ground floor, 1 DOUBLE on the first floor and 1 TWIN with two full size single beds and an additional comfortable fold up bed on the mezzanine. Shower and separate w.c.on the first floor adjacent to the bedrooms. The house is ideal for a couple with children, two couples with a maximum of three young children or two couples who value the extra space. There is a large living area with comfortable seating and the dining area with seating for six. YOU WILL ENJOY the secluded terrace with brick BBQ. A second terrace is ideal for a sunny breakfast of coffee and croissants is just off the separate kitchen. 5 mins walk to the beach by pedestrian pathway. We recommend you use a taxi to and from station if availing of public transport as you will need to pick up the keys and fresh sheets and towels from our agents. Free private parking with remote controlled barrier is a few steps from the back door
There is a small supermarket a greengrocer and bakery/ cafe/ fast food outlet five minutes walk away. There is also a wine shop and ATM at this cluster of shops.

LOCAL FACILITIES AND AMENITIES .: The house is located in a quiet area five minutes walk from the beach and ten minutes walk to town centre/marina where there is a large selection of bars and restaurants to suit every pocket and taste.

Cap d'Agde has been awarded the national 'Famille Plus' seal of approval which recognises the hospitality and facilities on offer to families with children in French tourist destinations.

Facilities and safety provision

There are a large number of activities such as swimming, diving, sailing, hill walking horse riding, tennis, golf, jet ski, fishing, quad bikes, archery, cycling, go karting wine tasting and many others, available locally.
The area also caters well for cultural activities such as music and art festivals, historic buildings and towns and the annual Feria in Beziers. The towns of Agde and Sete host public water jousting competitions throughout the summer which are a colourful and exciting spectacle.

PLACES OF INTEREST: The villa has a visitor book with information on local activities, places of interest etc. We recommend a visit to the small lakeside town of Marseillan, just a few minutes drive, to Sete a charming fishing port, fifteen minutes away or to Mountpellier, a majestic town with many attractions and beautiful buildings, which is forty minutes away. Beziers with its impressive leafy 'Alles Paul Riquet', and spectacular 9 Locks on the Canal du MIDI is twenty five minutes. Carcassonne is worth a visit, and we love St Guilhem le Desert. with its connection to the Camino de Santiago. Historical interest in Aigues Mortes, Beaucaire, Pezenas. There are several well regarded wine producers in the Beziers Narbonne area.
