Lincolnville Neighborhood
Location was great allowing us to walk to all touristy stuff. The house was built in 1895 and has been comfortably renovated. We were there in very hot weather and the AC and fans were sufficient to keep the house cool and fresh. There’s also a nice shaded area out back where you can sit outside if you want. An overhead fan back there would be nice to add a breeze. My only negative is that the back door stairs need replacing and there should be a light in that area. I would stay at this house again and definitely recommend it.

Spacious house and awesome location
We really enjoyed our stay with our four children and my parents. We could walk to everything downtown but still in a neighborhood setting. I would recommend renting the downstairs and upstairs of the house for a larger group.

Family weekend
The house was absolutely perfect! The owner takes such care of the house’s character, adding little touches in each room. If you love St. Augustine and it’s history, then you will love this house. The location is perfect for walking to most places of interest. We will definitely stay again on our next trip

Great location
We were surprised that this location has in-person check-in, rather than self check-in. Jared (property manager) was very accommodating, as we had to rearrange our plans a bit for the in-person check-in process; he was very willing to work with our time-frame. One bedroom has no closet, and none of the bedrooms have dressers or bureaus; i would have liked more clothing storage area. Overall, the house was very nice, and the location is incredibly convenient. The parking areas are also great. We would definitely consider staying at this property again!

Best Stay in St Augustine
We visit the area every 1-2 years for the past 10 years and have stayed at numerous places from hotels to homes. This was by far the best location for access to downtown and quick trips to the beach. The house was incredible for our family of 3 boys. Plenty of room, amenities, and extremely comfortable

Beautiful, unique house with a fantastic location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is gorgeous, from the beautiful wood floors, which appear to be original, to the eclectic, comfortable furnishings. Kitchen appliances look brand new. The house's unique layout means that, while a surprising number of guests could comfortably sleep there, it also felt just right for our party of four. The location is as good as it gets--an easy stroll to Flagler College, St. George St., etc. And the Lincolnville area itself has so much history and is great for walking. And because there's an abundance of parking at the house, we never had to deal with the hassle of finding parking around town. Last, but definitely not least, the owner and the property manager could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

A great St. Augustine experience
This is our fourth year renting in St. Augustine for February and March. We wanted to be closer to downtown so we could walk to shopping, restaurants and other places of interest. We were lucky to find this delightful home in the historic neighborhood of Lincolnville, and it fit the bill perfectly. The house is about 100 years old, but it has been charmingly restored and appointed. There are four bedrooms, which gave us plenty of room to spread out and still have room for guests. The second floor has a large bedroom, with ensuite bathroom. The sunroom/bedroom on the first floor has lots of light and a comfy bed. There is another queen bedroom, plus a king bedroom on the main floor, both with comfortable beds. The kitchen had what we needed to prepare our meals. There is a laundry room with a great washer and dryer. There was a carport next to the house, which gave us two parking spaces. But we mostly walked everywhere. There are many, many terrific dining options in the area, including Crave food truck, the Blue Hen. Carmelo's, Georgie's Diner and Bantam Chef for a quick meal. The Lincolnville Historic District is rich in African American history and known for its civil rights heritage. There is a walking tour with plaques that point out the places of interest. I loved walking through the neighborhood and looking at all the interesting houses and churches. The best part of our stay, however, was our host, Jess. She was an absolute delight to work with. She was so accommodating and accessible for anything we might need. She is proud of her neighborhood and shared its history with us. She owns other properties in the area, so she was around, but respectful of our privacy. We are looking forward to returning next year.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean, spacious, and the location was fabulous!
My family and I had a fabulous vacation! My husband and I traveled with our three adult sons, my daughter-in-law, and 16 month old grandson. The house was very spacious. Everyone felt comfortable, the bedrooms provided privacy, and the living room and dining room allowed us comfortable areas to gather for meals and to chill in the evenings. The house is perfectly located. It’s walking distance from the heart of historic downtown Saint Augustine, trolley stops, and great restaurants. It was a pleasure communicating with Mr. and Mrs. May. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again in the future.

Great location near the heart of historic St. Augustine
This quaint home is only blocks from the heart of the historic district. It was quick and easy to walk to everything . We were about 2 blocks from the Lightner Museum, Flagler College, the winery, and distillery. Jess was friendly and responsive before our arrival and during our stay. Her home is next door so she greeted us and showed us the place. The neighborhood seemed quiet and safe. We stayed on the second floor and had access to the four bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. However, there were really two formal bedrooms with king sized beds; the other two were makeshift rooms. One had a queen bed & futon and was roomy but just had a partial divider between the room and laundry/entry area; it was noisy when doing laundry or people were entering/leaving. The other one was a small sitting room with a futon and the only entrance to the front porch. The rooms worked for our purposes but another renter stayed downstairs. Although we had locks on all the doors, the extra two bedrooms were outside the locked main room which creates a challenge for using the bathroom late at night - there was only one small bathroom for the main area and a larger one in the master bedroom. We ended up just leaving the main door unlocked for the guests staying outside the main area and putting a room divider at the top of the stairs. We didn't have a problem with the other renters but we would have preferred to have a single locked door at the top of the stairs so the rest of the floor could remain open & safe. We also enjoyed having a full kitchen, living room, and patio to ourselves. We made a Christmas meal (partially pre-cooked from Publix) and while it would have been nice to have a larger cutting board and more large plates (there were only 6 plates but 8 of us), the accommodations were much better than staying in a hotel for the 3 days we spent there. One caution about the dishes, most were not microwave safe as they had a gold band around them. A few coffee mugs and small plates were among the dishes that we could use but thankfully my mom stopped one of my daughters from cooking a gold-rimmed plate too long and pulled it out right away when it sparked. There was a washer and dryer available to use (washer had a small leak) and plenty of clean towels. The property was clean and well-maintained for the age. We also had plenty of parking and a separate entrance out the back porch. Overall it was a nice stay in a cute city. I would stay there again.
