Thank you George !
Third time renting this lovely home; always sorry to leave. The house is in fantastic shape, cannot think of one item missing from all the items available for use, bedding and towels soft and plentiful, kitchen well stocked.
We look forward to another stay soon.
The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for three adults and two little ones to spread out and have their own space. The views of the bay were wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!
This house was by far the most well stocked rental I have ever experienced. Everything you could need for a amazing time in Fair Haven is located here. Close to Colloca’s it was perfect for my close friends and family during our wedding weekend. George was extremely kind and hospitable throughout our stay, answering all of our questions and truly making us feel at home. Would highly recommend a stay here.
Our experience was excellent. The view of the bay was awesome and the full moon over the bay on our last night was the cherry on top. The place was perfect for our family of five and was very clean. The darts in the basement were a hit with the kids (no one turned on the TV while we were there!). The grill worked well for several meals. The owner George was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend and will stay there again (if it's available).
all in all it was a great place to stay.
My daughter got married at the winery walking distance away, so the location worked out perfect. in was nice to relax for a couple days after the wedding and just catch up with family.
we were a little confused on the lighting, but no biggie.
the only slight issue I had was the towels, I wish I would have known there weren't any wash clothes and not enough towels, I would have brought my own.
other than that it was an enjoyable stay.
The property was as pictured and was very well equipped with linens, dishes, cookware, etc. The AC worked perfectly, there was both a gas grill and a charcoal grill and plenty of chairs to sit on outside on the deck or the dock overlooking the bay. Paper towels, trash bags, ziplock bags, spices, condiments, and a bottle of wine was there for our use and consumption. The spiral staircase is required to get to the upstairs bedroom and your car needs to be parked up a small incline from the house. These were minor inconveniences compared to the beauty and functionality of the house.
We opened the front door and went inside, finding a bottle of local wine on the table and a spare key. The air was cooled and it smelled clean. We knew then we picked the right house. Other helpful amenities include a Keurig coffeemaker with accompanying pods, a bathroom on every level, with two on the main floor.
Originally we were planning to travel with my in-laws, and while we were there, I thought the steps going up and down from the parking dock to the house would have been a problem for them. They mostly graduated gently, but there were many.
All in all, George was great in responding to any questions we had; the lake views were lovely from both the deck and the living room, and it was hard to leave.
We have already booked a week for 2021.

OVERALL WE HAD ANOTHER WONDERFUL EXPERIANCE! THE RING OF FIRE AROUND THE BAY WAS FANTASTIC! AS WERE THE FIREWORKS! THE PORCH OVERLOOKING THE BAY IS WHERE WE SPENT MOST OF OUR TIME. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL. THIS WAS OUR THIRD YEAR STAYING OVER THE FOURTH , AND ALLTHOUGH WE LOVE THIS PLACE, WE DIDN'T SEE MUCH , IF ANY IMPROVEMENTS OVER THE YEARS. THE DOWNSTAIRS IS TOTALLY WASTED SPACE. IT HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL FOR A GREAT " HANGOUT" WITH JUST SOME MINOR UPGRADES. POOLTABLE, BAR, COUCHES, BIG TV, DARTBOARD, ECT. WOULD ALL BE APPRECIATED. THE BBQ GRILL IS LOCATED DOWNSTAIRS ALSO SO TO USE IT REQUIRES WAT TOO-MUCH LEGWORK. WE USED IT ONCE AND ALMOST HAD A FIRE BECAUSE IT WAS SO FILTHY AND GREASY. TOOK US AN HOUR TO CLEAN IT AND ONE BURNER STILL DIDN'T WORK. ONE TOWELL-RACK WAS BROKE, AND THE TV IS VERY LIMITED WITH ONLY ABOUT 8 CHANNELS, AND NO NETFLIX OR STREAMING CAPABILLITIES.THIS IS A NICE PLACE, AND EVEN WITH THE SHORTCOMMINGS I MENTIONED, I WOULD STILL RECOMMEND IT, BUT I DEFINATELY THINK THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE ATTENSION TO DETAIL, CREATIVITY, AND IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE $ THAT IS BEING ASKED.
Place was in great shape. Plenty of room. Great views and great deck. Fire pit was excellent. Beds comfortable and 3 showers were nice to have.
Only issue was the dock- it’s short and not really extended in deep enough water to comfortably dock a boat and it’s about 4 feet above the water line so even if it was in deep enough water you can’t swim off it. Weeds at end of dock made fishing difficult. Other than the dock situation though, the place was great. Would definitely stay again.
Had our usual delightful time. Everything clean and orderly, with a nice bottle of wine from the local winery, on the table. Air conditioners were welcome for the first couple of days - very humid. We are already booked for 2023. Can't wait to get back!
