La Limonaia is a wonderful ground floor apartment, full of character as it was one a green house, La Limonaia in Italian is the Lemon Tree House, where the lemons trees were brought in for the winter months. Hence the original shaped windows and very bright rooms.
Very original to live in a greenhouse and we assure that is a lovely experience with a twist of Art Deco style as an original feature that gives the property a unique style.


La Limonaia is a portion of a small residential complex with a shared pool, a very short walk to the lake and the town of Tremezzo, restaurants, cafes, bars are with in 10 minutes walk away.

It extends over 2 floors, the ground floor has living, kitchen corner and dining area, one bathroom and possibly the best part of the ground floor is the private outside patio area equipped with table and chairs to enjoy to the max the outside in the lovely summer months and only a few steps from the pool.
Upstairs the large bedroom with double and single bed that can be divided by a sliding separé wall for extra privacy.
Over the living area is a mezzanine with another single bed so La Limonaia sleeps up to 3 easily and the third person can decide to sleep in the master or on the mezzanine.
The two floors are connected by a spiral staircase.

Private parking is available with in the complex, a Godsend for Tremezzo!!
Only a short walk to the lovely Parco Meyer, in fact this residential complex was once a part of the gardens of the Villa Meyer and the lovely lake front park that is a busy lake front hub and swimming hole for locals and youngsters, there is also a charming cafe within the park to take advantage of! It could become your "local" for the time of your stay at La Limonaia!!

If you are not keen on renting a car or coming to Lake Como with your car, this particular property is very easy to reach with public transportation, approx 300mt from the closest bus stop and and approx 10/15 minute walk from the boat stop, where you can get the slow boats or the hydrofoil up from Como or just for discovering the lake.
