Beautiful, spacious ranger house overlooking the lake in a county park. Tons of room to spread out, big bedrooms and 2 full baths - a must have with 4 adults and a couple of teenagers! The park is well maintained - even in winter/spring. And the sunrise was gorgeous. Check in was super easy. We cant wait to come back and stay during the summer!
My husband and I decided to get away after Christmas for some down time. We didn’t want to drive too far, but wanted somewhere secluded. This place was ideal. The trails are really nice, it’s very quiet and just what we needed. I rated it a 4 out of 5 only because there was no light in back so we always needed a high powered flashlight if we needed to take our dogs out and there are no window coverings over the front door, so when sitting in the front room watching TV anyone could look in since it faces the parking lot. But all in all l, it is a beautiful location and it fit our needs!
Had a great weekend exploring the park, West Bend, and Lake Michigan. The Yahr House was just the right size for our family of ten. Could have used a few additional kitchen linens and washcloths to go with the towels. Thank you for a great place to stay!
stayed at the property for my daughter’s wedding which was 1.5 miles to Orchard Valley acres! So that worked out great groomsman were able to get ready there and take beautiful pictures down by the lake! And it was dog friendly which we had no one to watch cause of a family wedding!
Large home with a lot of warmth and character in a beautiful park close to a beach. Quiet and peaceful. Clean. Enjoyed the grill and fire pit. Hope to stay here again!
Thank you!!!
Home was very clean; we were grateful for that with kids running around all areas, sitting/playing on the ground, etc. Home kind of misses that comfy, inviting feeling once you get upstairs. You kind of get the feeling that this was an afterthought or like an obligatory money maker. I don’t mean that rudely by any stretch; it just feels like a non-priority, especially when you need assistance but no one is there to respond, or you’re not sure who to contact at which hours, etc. I guess that’s what happens when it’s not a sole owner managing it, so just go into it with the mentality that you’re likely on your own for the duration of your stay. Disappointed to have the expectation of a cleaning checklist for checkout, which baffles me when we pay for the rental *and* a large fee on top of that. In sum, I guess I hoped for a little “more” for what we paid.
The cabin was absolutely wonderful. It had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. Clean towels for showers and clean beds made up like you were at a hotel. Will definitely rent again.
We were extremely pleased with the wheelchair accessibility of the house and property. An added bonus was the gorgeous sunsets from the front. We loved our stay!
My family and I took advantage of your beautiful property for our Wisconsin vacation. We have done this for 3 years now. One year we stayed in Port, another in Sheboygan and this year in West Bend and at Erler Lake. And by all accounts this was by far our best stay! The beach was wonderful, the property itself was great with lots of room for playtime, camp fires and cookouts. the insides were just as advertised, spacious, friendly and comfortable. We will be back maybe as early as this winter! Thank you,
This property was perfect for our stay. Lots of room for everyone, huge space for the kids to run, close to the beach and walking trails. We were able to grill out with friends and utilize all the picnic tables and outdoor space. Property was clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again!
This is our second visit to this peaceful lake house. Enjoyed the time spent with family and found the house clean and cozy.

Nicer if we could get in and out of the lot
Nice property and spacious. We received a call the day prior to check in stating the parking might not be plowed all the time , but it would get plowed (we came in a winter storm). Well, we came and there were drifts and no passage to get into the house-thank God we brought a shovel. We called the park manager and he said he would do his best to get it plowed overnight. That didn't happen and even with a 4 wheel drive truck, we got stuck several times the next morning. Finally, later morning we got plowed out. We traveled 8 hours and had a timed event in the morning which I told them about that we came for, so it not being plowed led to much extra stress and work on our part. Unable to get a hold of anyone else. Made the best of the weekend, but that added stress where we should not have had!

This house was, especially the location, was very unique as it is located inside park grounds. The house was very clean upon arrival, and the amenities were great. But what was so helpful for us, was the handicap accessibility. We have a completely wheelchair bound disabled son, and this house actually had a ramp to get in. So extremely helpful. The ONLY thing that was a problem was that the television did not work because the ROKU device was broken. We thought perhaps it was a battery problem, we bought new batteries, but it still did not work. So...we were rendered to watching tv on our tiny phone screens, which was difficult for my son. But other than that, I would totally recommend this property. It was our very first time ever using a VRBO property over a hotel, as I was alway nervous about how handicap accessible a rental house would be. This was SO much more relaxing and spacious for us than being in a hotel room.
The property manager was very helpful to answer our questions prior to coming, also.
thank you for sharing this lovely home, the four of us enjoyed Thanksgiving, a needed retreat. the house was well outfit for cooking, and the games/puzzles were a plus. we loved the lake view and the special touches around the home. comfy beds, perfect location. we will be back.
3 Generations arrived for a 3 day weekend wedding nearby. We loved having the house and Erler Lake to retreat to in between wedding events. It was perfect for us with games and puzzles for the kids, an easy walk to the lake for a swim or playtime and the window air conditioners were a plus as the temperatures rose. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
