Had a great stay on Christmas 2022, location is excellent with an 8-minute drive into Bakewell, Village is lovely with a great pub to walk to.
The property itself is amazing, with everything you could need and more. Incredibly cosy and comfortable.

About the host
Hosted by Julia
We are John, Julia & Emma, the proud new owners of Manor Farm which is a working sheep farm. We are new to farming and have learnt lots about our growing flock of 140 Jacob, Suffolk, Lleyn and South Down sheep. We also have chickens, a dog called Honey who loves everyone and a cat called Smudge.
Why they chose this property
The Cowshed is a lovely little old stone barn with exposed beams and feature stone walls. It has a log burner and underfloor heated stone floors throughout. Both bedrooms are en suite with heated towel rails. The bedrooms can be prepared as twin beds or doubles. There is a private seating area outside where you can enjoy the stunning location and countryside surrounding Manor Farm.
What makes this property unique
A stay at Manor House Farm Cottages will create many lasting memories as it is such a special place. We feel fortunate every day to live in an area of outstanding beauty and look forward to sharing the experience with our guests. Our small woodland is a special place and for people interested in history, we also have 2 neolithic burial mounts, a lime kiln and a mine shaft on our 50 acres of land.
