Centrally located and beautifully furnished, Villages of Wisp 12 Bright Passage "Ski Bear" is the perfect choice for your Deep Creek getaway throughout all four seasons.

Enter the main level, and you will immediately notice the open floorplan that makes it easy to enjoy the company of your traveling companions. Hardwood floors, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances combine to create an attractive kitchen that has everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals and snacks. There is ample seating in the dining area and at the breakfast bar when everyone wants to sit down together at mealtime. The warm glow of the fireplace creates a spot that you will be drawn to throughout your stay. Relax on the leather sofa and share stories of your adventures on the slopes or watch your favorite movie on the curved 65" TV before retiring for the night.

Head upstairs to the second level to find the primary suite with a king bed and private bath. Tasteful decor gives the room a tranquil feel so that you can unwind and rest up for another fun day at the lake. In the morning, you can step outside for a breath of fresh mountain air on your private balcony. Another bedroom with queen is equally as inviting and also has the added bonus of a private balcony. The third floor loft bedroom has a queen bed and a twin. It is a cheerful space where you can curl up for a catnap on a lazy summer day or catch some zzz's after hiking and biking at state parks.

Head to the lower level family room when you want to watch the big game on the flatscreen or play a game of pool or ping-pong. Casual decor makes this a laid-back place to hang out with friends and family. Outside you will find even more living space. Have a cookout on the deck and soak up the sun when the weather is warm. No matter what time of year you visit, the outdoor hot tub is a must for instant relaxation. It is especially soothing after a long day of skiing or snowboarding.

On-the-water-fun is nearby at the community lake access area. It's just a short drive from your doorstep and offers a place to picnic, swim, or go fishing.

During the winter months, you will love the convenient access to Wisp Resort's expert slope Main Street. The lodge is less than a mile away, so you can easily drive to access mountain activities too. Non-skiers can snow tube or ride the mountain coaster to stay entertained. Throughout the rest of the year, Wisp offers mountain biking, pontoon lake tours, zip lining, disc golf, and more. Atop the mountain, you can try out the man-made whitewater course at the Adventure Sports Center International.

The convenient location means other area activities, state parks, marinas with boat rentals, and restaurants are within a ten-minute drive or less. Holiday ski trip

Will definitely rent this unit again. Outfitted wonderfully and perfectly located for easy access to all Wisp resort activities. Well-stocked kitchen for actually cooking too!

Comfortable Stay near the Slopes!

We really enjoyed staying here for a long weekend! It was great to have a large, well-equipped kitchen for cooking together. There was space for everyone to spread out and relax -both in the living room and the downstairs game room/hot tub. The kids loved the loft. The property was well maintained. There was a snow storm on our last day, and the road was constantly being plowed so we had no trouble getting out. There wasn’t enough snow when we were here to ski to the resort from our door (also the trail it would connect to is too difficult for the kiddos), but it was a quick 5 minute drive down the road!

Beautiful cozy home! We enjoyed the game cabinet, hot tub, and fire place. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the location is great. There was lots of ladybugs and flies in the house but it wasn't a huge deal. Just FYI because the pictures and description don't really show it - if you are needing to use the 2 beds in the loft you will have to go up a very tight spiral staircase. So if your group has mobility issues, anticipates needing the bathroom in the middle of the night, or is larger, it may not work for you. Overall I would recommend!

Beautiful views and nicely secluded.

The house was great! Overall it was clean, but there were some crumbs left on the counter from the last renter. Very easy to find where we were going. A couple things that were troublesome was our 1st night we were hungry and all the restaurants closed really early at 7 pm...although it still took my order online. A couple homes away there were non stop dog barking. The tenants left 3 dogs there all day and all night with both upper levels patio doors open so the dogs ran from 1 patio to the other all day and night and bark at any movement or noise they heard...I felt bad for the dogs. They seemed abandoned. We loved our stay though and had a really nice vacation.

Overall Really Nuce Place

Pros: Location was great, the house had EVERYTHING you possibly needed, even in the kitchen. Cons: The 3rd bedroom although nice it made for kids only getting up those small steps was no joke, couldn’t take luggage up there. Kitchen although it was fully stocked which was Great, it was overstocked, I just didn’t like the fact there was no cabinet space left to put my food up so I had to leave everything on the counter “and I personally don’t like to leave food on the counter it’s almost wasted counter space.” I didn’t like the fact there was no bathroom on the first floor, for me, I can do the steps but it made it a little hard for my mom to keep going either up the steps or to the basement to use the bathroom. As far as the front need just a little more “upgrade,” or it could just be the house next to it that make the front just a little unpleasant “just a little.” Again overall really nice house and I would stay again. The owners responding was impressive.

Weekend getaway

My husband and I, along with two teenagers, stayed for a weekend. The place was absolutely perfect. It felt more like home than a rental. It was cozy and VERY clean. I typically get the heebie jeebies staying at rentals because you can tell it’s a rental but this place didn’t feel like that AT ALL! We did reach out to the property manager twice before booking the place with a question and never did receive an answer.

Amazing Property, You Will Love It.

Me && My Best Friends Got Together And Took Our Kids Glamping Here For The Weekend All The Way From Buffalo NY. I’ve Been A Few Times In Much Bigger Houses With All Adults But I Must Say This One Was My Favorite It’s Just Perfect For Family Get Aways With The Kids 4 Floors With The Loft And The Kids Spent About 90% Of There Time Up There Leaving The Adults To Enjoy Good 90’s R&B While Drinking Wine In The Rest Of The House We All Even Got To Use The HOT TUB A Few Times, The Scenery Is Beautiful. It’s Cozy And Just The Right Size For A Few Families To Enjoy. Only Issue Was LADY BUGS Literally Everywhere When We Left My Friend Had One Crawl Out Here Coat While I Was Driving Talk About A Laugh Lol🤣

Ski Bear in summer

This place is awesome, we will definitely stay here again. Very quite location, away from it all, but convenient to all the happenings around the Wisp area. The decor is very tasteful and modern, very clean and kept well. The kids loved the loft sleeping area with the spiral staircase. Netflix, hot tub, pool table, and private balconies off the bedrooms are an excellent touch, 5 stars all the way!

Perfect getaway!

Kid friendly house

We were disappointed in the upper loft room because the spiral staircase is so narrow we couldn’t get our suitcases up there. My daughter had to leave her things in one of the other rooms and go up and down for it. The fireplace wouldn’t light. According to the maintenance man it needed a part that had to be ordered. It was disappointing not being able to light it. Also, the light in the hot tub didn’t work so we used it in the dark. We loved the kitchen and little coffee bar. Nice touch! I would recommend this property to a friend but because of the accessibility to the 3rd floor we probably won’t stay there again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival it was clear that it had not been cleaned. Carpets had debris on them, hair in refrigerator, kitchen floor had food on it, stairs had hair on them. The master bedroom and bath has a strong off putting odor of mildew and mold.The hot tub had a strong smell and we only used it once because of this. Other than that the property was very nice and well decorated.
