Disliked: Location
Ideal location if you are to go drinking/clubbing until early hours. Not a family friendly place.
Property satisfactory. Basement bedroom not great for young ones. Master bedroom good. Few minor changes to the interior could be ok. Location not great. Very noisy and untidy location.

The place was clean and warm for exploring the Lake District
The place was clean and warm, had all you need to enjoy the lakes and beyond. A number of toilets so never had to wait and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook and have meals. The town was very close by the many places to eat all over. Parking was OK but if you had to use the carpark at the back you had to get a ticket on before 8 in the morning. A small bin maybe in the rooms and toilet would be helpful. Otherwise a good place to rest and explore the lake district.

Great ‘home from home’ property
Clean, spacious and with all the home comforts. Great base for our family holiday exploring the lakes. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need. The bedrooms are clean, comfortable and with added touches such as a hairdryer and towels. Parking was available outside the property.

Spacious home
This was a great place to stay in Barrow-in-Furness. It was a close walk to the train station, bus station, grocery store, and restaurants. The kitchen was well furnished. My husband would have liked a coffee maker or French press, but that is the only thing we missed. The living room had a large sofa area where you could relax and stretch out. The two main bedrooms are upstairs and each one had its own bathroom. We found we often had to flush toilets more than once. The one in the twin bedroom was very noisy. The light in the other bathroom wouldn’t go on. We called Ian and he quickly came over and showed us how to get it to work. The trick worked for awhile but soon quit. I’m sure he’ll get that worked out. We would have liked trash receptacles in the bathrooms and bedrooms, but it was no big deal. We used some bags we had with us for garbage. I think this is a fairly new rental and they’ll soon get all the tiny things worked out. All in all, it was a great place to relax, cook meals, and wash clothes. It’s in a good location to explore the town.
