Around The Palms: Over the past two years the site has improved enormously with all the gardens well maintained and the walls and rails all freshly painted. The site is long with 96 single story houses and 24 duplexes. There are 4 pools; two at the top, one in the middle and the other down the other end. A further pool has been reconstructed as a cactus garden. It is very pleasant to walk around the site. The restaurant is very popular and offers evening meals plus take aways. Out and About: The Palms is a place for a quite relaxing holiday and that is enough for many people. If you require a nice stroll then it is a pleasant walk down to the Marina where there are some very classy boats. You can also catch the bus just opposite the medical centre and link up with a bus to anywhere in Tenerife. You can walk coastal paths either right from the marina to Costa del Silencio or walk to San Blas, carry on to Los Abrigos and carry on along the coast to El Medano, about 10k. You can catch a bus there and walk back or vice versa. Whatever, you can do as much or as little as you like.
