Honeybun Cottage is a petite thatched cottage situated in the village of Osmington near to the town of Weymouth in Dorset boasting beautiful beams on the ceiling and charming interior, welcomes 2 dogs. The cottage can sleep 4 people in 1 twin and 1 king-size double bedroom with en-suite shower as well as a shower room. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen/diner and a sitting room. To the outside of the cottage is on road parking in the lane and a lawned garden with patio. Honeybun Cottage is perfect for couples to explore wonders of Jurassic coast. Note: Two well-behaved dogs welcome at an additional charge of £21.00/pet.

Town: Osmington village, is situated on the Jurassic coastline of Dorset, just 6 miles from Weymouth wher you will find an glorious beach and historic harbour and just 11 miles from Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Home to the famous Chalk hillside carving of George III on horseback, cut into the hillside to commemorate the Royal visits to Weymouth, this landmark can be seen from miles away. It is also the place that John Constable spent his honeymoon in 1816 and where he completed his painting of Weymouth Bay that now hangs in the National Gallery. The South West Coastal path runs through Osmington Mills, a tiny hamlet on the edge of Osmington. Here many walkers start their coast path walks at the Smugglers inn, where reputedly there are historic connections to smuggling. Be sure to visit to find out all the stories. A short drive will see you reach a local convenience store at Preston. Weymouth offers a larger variety of shopping, eating and entertainment choices.

The cotttage was clean and very nice. But we have clean the most of the dishes, cutlery, pots, etc.

There are a lot of food particles on it. Dorset and the area are very nice. We had luck wirh the weather too.

All good overall however shower head broke and garden needs a good tidy up

Picturesque setting, handy for visiting local attractions and, as advertised, a good place for a dog

A cosy cottage in a great location, nice garden and the kitchen is well equipped. The owners need to attend to a few areas of maintenance such as replacing fridge door shelves, weeding the garden and painting garden furniture. Some soft lighting in the living room would be a nice addition ( eg table lamps ) This would enhance the overall experience . Overall though a very pleasant stay
