Beautiful Ponderosa Pine Log Cabin - Northwoods Retreat On 10 Acres

This Beautiful Ponderosa Pine Log Cabin sits on ten acres of a beautiful private wooded land with easy access to over 2000 acres of public land, ATV and snowmobile trails and is a ½ mile away from the Lake Flambeau boat landing. Located just 5 miles north of Ladysmith, WI there is also access to golfing, shopping, antiquing, wonderful restaurants, and the Christie Mountain ski resort.

Bedroom #1 is a spacious loft with a Queen size log bed, double futon bed, and single day Bed.
Bedroom #2 has a comfortable Queen and Single Bunk Bed

There is also a double pull out couch in the living room if you have extra visitors.

We have come several times and love it!

Great property that is secluded but also close enough to essentials. There is everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of room in the fridge and an outdoor grill as well. We love it and will come back!

Great Cabin

Well designed and well kept cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed to prep meals. Private location outside a small town. We enjoyed the hot tub and the wood stove kept the cabin cozy.

Best Friend Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend relaxing in the cabin. Lots of time spent laughing, soaking in the hot tub, and playing games or painting inside while it rained. We would definitely come back.

Perfect Jumping Off Point

From the cabin you’re able to get to multiple boat launches on different spots on the river, access great road and gravel bike riding and zip into town for the farmers market within minutes. The owners are very easy to work with and truly want you to have a relaxed stay on their very quiet, secluded property.

Cozy and quiet stay

We stayed with our 4 children this past weekend. The house was clean and super cozy. Our kids had a great time running around the yard, and we all had fun playing games inside. We were able to get out and explore the area a bit too. The house had everything we needed. It was great having the hot tub to soak in after the kids went down. We plan to stay again at some point!

Amenities and safety and comfort

Ice machine listed on amenities and was non functional. Owner notified and stated health codes do not allow for shared ice. Then you should take it off your list. Railing on deck was not attached to the house. We were glad we didn’t have children with us. Very uncomfortable bed on main floor bedroom. We would not recommend.

Perfect Getaway

We were looking for a quiet location for three of us to celebrate our friend turning 30. We have stayed here before, and it was just as great as the first stay. Would recommend this location to anyone looking for a secluded hang out.

Relaxing and Private Getaway

We loved our time here. We spent Christmas weekend completely disconnected from screens and relaxed into the coziness. The hot tub, as others have mentioned, is magical - especially at night. The property is surrounded by trees, so it's very private. The cabin itself is great, with a well stocked kitchen, a beautiful bathroom, and lots of comfy beds. We brought our dog with us and she was as relaxed as we were. We felt so rested and happy with our stay!
