Summer visit to Syracuse
We enjoyed our stay and Andrea was very helpful and we particularly appreciated his recommendations for places to eat and places to go locally. The house was well set up and we loved the pool as it was hot and we spent a lot of time there. A bluetooth speaker would be a welcome addition to the house. Thanks for having us.

Andrea was a fantastic host, was always available when needed. The villa had amazing views from the balcony yet private pool area which the family enjoyed playing in and relaxing by. A car is a must to explore and we found some great beaches a short drive away. Would recommend as we had a fantastic time!

Beautiful villa near beaches
We had a wonderful stay in September/October 2022. The villa was well looked after and we made good use of the pool and sun terraces around the house. It has a few small but nice beaches within walking distance, which were great (in particular Spiaggia del Minareto which is shared with the five star hotel).

Abbiamo soggiornato a Villa Shalai una settimana dal 13 al 20 agosto, marito moglie e due bambini. Andrea ci ha accolto con professionalità e garbo dimostrandosi sempre disponibile per suggerimenti ed accogliere nostre richieste. Il petit cadeaux culinario con prodotti tipici siciliani all'arrivo è stato graditissimo. Frigorifero ricco di bevande e tutto l'occorrente per la colazione. Tutte le aree sia indoor che outdoor curate nel dettaglio. Arredamento minimal gradevole, luminoso, che denota attenzione. Il nostro feed back non può che esser 5 stars e super positivo. Consiglieremmo sicuramente un soggiorno.

Wonderful stay
My family and I had a wonderful time at Villa Shalai. Andrea was an excellent host and very helpful. The villa is stunning with plenty of outdoor space. Would recommend.

Shalai House is very special. The design of the property and house and first-rate.
Location is outstanding, both close to Ortegia and breath-taking scenery, which is minutes away. Great landscaping and lighting, and pool. Great space inside as well. If you're looking for a place near Ortegia, this is it!

Great vacation home
The house is exactly as listed. The property is beautiful. The outdoor space is relaxing and serene and truly a great place to spend your time. The location is wonderful. Near tons of beaches and restaurants. Also a short ride away from the center of Syracuse which is absolutely stunning. Andrea is a wonderful host. He is as kind as he is helpful and I can’t speak more highly of him. We will be back.

Tolles Haus mit vielen tollen Aussenterrassen
Schönes Haus mit stilvoller Einrichtung und tollem Pool. Diverse Sitzmöglichkeiten draussen, sodass man immer irgendwo eine Sonnenterrasse (oder Schatten) findet. In nur 10 Gehminuten ist einen wundervolle Bucht mit Sandstrand zu erreichen. Auch die Altstadt von Syrakusa ist 15 Autominuten entfernt. Zudem gibt ganz in der Nähe diverse gute Restaurantoptionen mit Sitzmöglichkeiten direkt am Meer.

Villa fantastica
La villa è fantastica, ideale per una vacanza di relax essendoci la piscina e vicina al mare ma anche per gite nelle località della Sicilia, la zona è molto tranquilla. Nella villa c’era tutto quello che poteva servire, il giardino e la piscina erano fantastici. Il benvenuto nella villa è stato ottimo, apprezzato il kit colazione e le altre cose che ci sono state offerte al nostro arrivo. Consiglio la villa per una bellissima vacanza.

Top holiday!
We had a fantastic stay in this villa. The friendly owner is always available to assist you in any way. The villa is 15 minutes away from Syracuse, and it is also well located to visit many other places like Noto, Modica, Ragusa Ibla and others. Herbsturlaub Sizilien 2019
Wir haben unseren diesjährigen Herbsturlaub in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Erstaunt hat uns die Genauigkeit der Beschreibung, denn wir haben alles so vorgefunden, wie beschreiben - ohne wenn und aber. Begrüßt wurden wir mit italienischen Delikatessen und frischem Obst, für Getränke war auch gesorgt. Daher war der Urlaub für uns (2 Paare) absolut gelungen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt mit unserem Ansprechpartner Andrea war auf englisch und italienisch möglich, einfach und absolut unkompliziert und immer pünktlich dazu - dafür einen herzlichen Dank an Andrea. Somit vergeben wir 10 von 10 möglichen Punkten und diese sind wirklich verdient - gerne geben wir daher unsere Weiterempfehlung ! Weiter so!

Wonderful Stay
The property is exactly as described and really lovely. It was perfect for our week (we were 4 adults) to explore SE. Sicily. Easy to communicate with Andrea who was a charming host and gave us some nice recommendations for dining out as well as where to buy the freshest seafood. We dined at the villa several times and the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The gardens are super as was the pool and having a choice of 4 areas/terraces outside to sit ensured that you could have sun or shade regardless of the time of day and all were tastefully furnished. Andrea provided a warm welcome and the villa was spotless and it was easy to communicate with him when we arrived. The location is in a quiet area about 10/15mins drive from Syracuse/Ortigia where you can find some good restaurants as well as supermarket etc . Within a 10min walk was a fabulous cove for swimming. I would definitely return to Villa Shalai if I was to return to this part of Sicily (which I hopefully will some time soon)!

Moderne und gepflegte Urlaubsvilla
Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in der Villa verbracht. Alles ist wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen. Das Haus ist neu und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut. Das Grundstück und der Pool sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Es war ruhig und in der Nähe gibt es mehrere gute Restaurants mit Blick auf Ortigia. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die super Betreuung durch Andrea und seine Familie.
