From it’s elevated position the cottage enjoys unrivalled sea and mountain views and is nestled within ancient woodland.
ACCOMODATION
On the ground floor there is a sunny lounge with triple aspect windows and French doors leading onto the spacious decking area with magnificent uninterrupted views across Tremadog Bay. Tastefully furnished, including a log burning stove for cosy evenings in. There is a selection of games, books and of course TV and Wifi to keep you entertained.
The adjoining stylish kitchen/diner is comprehensively equipped with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster and all the crockery, cutlery, pots, pans you might need. Again French doors lead onto the decking area, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or dining al fresco whilst drinking in the breathtaking view.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 is triple aspect enjoying both woodland and sea views, furnished with a sumptuous king size sleigh bed, luxurious duvet and linen, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. There is a large window seat and vanity unit with sink.
Bedroom 2 is a double aspect room with sea and garden views, again a sumptuous king size bed, luxurious duvet and linen, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables.
Family Bathroom with feature clawfoot cast iron bath, pedestal sink and WC.
Shower Room with WC, sink and shower.
To the front of the cottage is the large decking area from which to admire the wonderful sea views. The perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, lose yourself in your favourite book, whilst enjoying the wonderful panoramic views. During the evening, indulge yourself with your favourite tipple strike up the BBQ and star gaze to your heart's content. If you’re really lucky, you might even get a visit from our resident tawny owl.
To the rear of the house is an enclosed private secluded garden with wildlife pond, and beyond is the Parc y Borth nature reserve with it’s woodland walking paths and extensive bird life.

ACCESS & PARKING
The cottage is located at the head of an unadopted track which leads from the main road (Borth Road). The track is approximately 20m in length to the base of the property. Accessed by approximately 40 steps the property is elevated and very private towering above the beautiful village of Borth y Gest. Vehicular access is allowed along the unadopted track for dropping off and pick-up only - parking is not permitted. Cars must return to the main road, Borth Road which is approximately 20m from the property boundary. Unrestricted parking is available on Borth Road.

SURROUNDING AREA
The cottage is situated in the picturesque coastal village of Borth-y-gest with it’s colourful terraced houses, tearoom and restaurant. Nestled by the water this sheltered horseshoe bay is home to many small boats. The Llyn coastal path leads directly from the village where you can enjoy fabulous coastal walks with views to stunning Harlech Castle and discover hidden quiet bays and the expansive sandy beaches of Morfa Bychan and Black Rock Sands.
For the golf enthusiasts, Porthmadog Golf Club (2 miles) is located in a wonderful location on the Coastal Path.
The whole area is a heaven for wildlife and birds including oystercatchers, curlews, redshanks, great crested grebe, sandwich terns and the visiting osprey’s.
From the cottage you can also walk over the coastal path (approximately 15 minutes) to Porthmadog. A busy harbour town with a good range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pubs. Porthmadog is also a major hub for the narrow-gauge railway with no less than three lines, the ffestiniog, the shorter Welsh Highland heritage and the similarly named Welsh Highland all the way to Caernarfon.
It’s a short drive to Portmeirion, the italian style village designed by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis and made famous by the series The Prisoner which was filmed here.
Harlech, Abersoch and Criccieth beaches are also only a short drive away.
Close by is the spectacular Snowdonia National Park (2 miles) which covers an area of 823 square miles. It offers wonderful walking, the highest mountain in wales, the largest lake and picturesque villages to explore Beddgelert (8 miles), Betws-y-Coed (24 miles)
Snowdonia National Park is a nature lovers paradise, it is full of spectacular walks and offers paths and trails for all abilities, world class mountain biking, white water rafting, mountaineering, Bear Grylls survival academy and Zip World, the longest and fastest zip line in Europe if you really want to get the adrenaline pumping!
