Our stay was nice. Quiet and serene. Water temp and pressure for showers was wonderful. There wasn’t water in the hot tub, some of the outlets didn’t work in the kitchen and we were unable to get the tvs to connect to internet. About 20 min from downtown. Location was great.

Disappointing Booking
This cabin rental unfortunately fell short of expectations. The cleanliness left much to be desired, and communication with the host throughout the booking and check-in process proved frustratingly difficult.

Not satisfactory
Hot tub at property not working although there was a communal one close. Grilling area in poor repair. Just a fire hole with no grill. Picnic table nearby falling down. House was very small with 7 ft ceiling making it feel even more cramped. Bed made lots of noise, tv in bedroom did not work. In kitchen, Only cooking implement was small skillet. No pots, no cooking utensils. Coffee pot, but no coffee. I left after one night
Upon arrival ss we drove in it appeared nice. stepping on to the porch first thing we saw was a hot tub which was dirty & cover was torn, clearly not working. The table & chairs on the porch were old & filthy. Inside was just decent BUT we could not get the microwave to work, in the bathroom the roll of toilet had only 3 squares. No toilet paper to be found anywhere, we called the manager & requested toiletpaper, trash bags there was only one trash bag not enough for 2 & a half days we also requested fresh pillow cases to which he said he didn’t have any. He did show up 15 minutes later with pillow cases which had clearly just been purchased at the Dollar Store. I asked him to work on the microwave to which he told my husband to try the breaker which was outside so my husband had to reset. When I complained to him he told me I was being rude. The communal hot tub was in an enclosed patio which was also filthy. Needless to say we did not stay for the weekend. We left 5 hours after arriving. There was no one else in the other cabins and no one at the Bistro or Winery.
Biggest rip off ever, makes sense why there was no one else there at the cabins, bistro or winery.
Our poor experience started with check in during which only one person was operating the venue and took 4 calls on a cell phone before addressing me.
The bed was in a back room with poor ventilation making it hot and humid during the 100 plus degree summer. We had to pull out the old sofa couch in order to stay in a cool area, which obviously is uncomfortable.
The bathroom folding door was very difficult to close all the way, and would often pop open, not allowing for much privacy.
We were so disappointed that we ended up staying our last night in Fredericksburg at another location, something that has never happened to us with VRBO properties which we have always been pleased with in the past .

The bathtub was broken. The chemicals were too harsh in the hot tub. The decor was depressing.
The pictures and price were not equal to the experience, so I didn't appreciate the value :(
