Very spacious flat equipped with everything you need. Only issue waz that the electric fire didnt work and no brush to be able to sweep up after walking . Shower was fab! Very central to windermere and 20 min walk to bowness . Very cosy place
We were pleasantly surprised on entering the property. Much larger than we expected, Very clean and spacious. Great location. Parked outside the property. Shower is amazing. Shared garden is a lovely sun trap. Will definitely be going back.
Took a father/son trip to England and the Lake District. This property was perfect for our needs. Easy walking distance to all Windermere had to offer and great location for driving the Lake District. The owner was kind and always ready to help however needed. Thanks for everything! We really enjoyed our stay!
Excellent comfortable flat in central town location
We had a really comfortable stay for two nights in this well equipped and spacious one bed flat. It's nicely furnished, very clean, and quietly located very near the centre of Windermere. There's a parking permit, which meant we were able to park just outside the property. The HD TV was nice and big too. It was priced reasonably and represented decent value. We would definitely return.
Word of caution re steps - it wouldn't be suitable for people with reduced mobility as the short set of stone steps down to the basement level door are narrow, a bit uneven and quite steep. Unfortunately we couldn't work out how to get the outdoor light to turn on, meaning we had to use our phone torches to see down in the dark.
Our only suggestions for improvement would be more cutlery, spare towels and toilet roll, and better quality hand soap (the blue stuff really dried out our hands!).
A lovely little flat. Very clean and had everything you need. The only minor issue was that the toilet seat was loose but other than that was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was excellent. Everything we needed was available. Location was brilliant for all our requirements (due to Covud we couldn't get into any of the restaurants as the queues were ridiculous) however with a well equipped kitchen it didn't take long to cook up a sumptuous meal. With the apartment being down stairs it was lovely and cool when we returned from one of our hikes. Would we stay there again ,yes definitely.
We have just returned from an amazing 2nt stay in Windermere.
The location of the property is fantastic and spotlessly clean.
Parking right outside the property was a massive bonus.
We had wonderful weather during our stay,which always makes it more enjoyable.
We would definitely stay here again, when in Windermere.

We stayed in the Garden flat for two nights and it was better than we expected, it was bigger than it looks and lovely and clean. A 5 min walk to Windermere shops and restaurants and 20 min walk to Bowness. The bus is £8:50 a day for hop on that takes you all round and runs into the night. Wayne was very hospitable even in the current circumstances, he left his number should we need to contact him. We can’t recommend this property enough, we have booked again for August.
It’s a really nice apartment, really cosy. Very warm which was nice over New Year. Shower is good which is always important to me. The kitchen was well kitted out with utensils etc. Very clean. The property owner was brilliant to communicate with. The only issue I had which wasn’t a big issue, was the stairs leading down to the apartment and the ones leading to the garden are very steep. If I was elderly, I think it’d be a problem.
This property is in a superb location, so central to shops, bars and cafes.
The only down side are the steep steps, which could be a problem; otherwise an excellent base in the lakes.
I booked The Garden Flat for 4 of us as we were attending a family party in Windermere. On arrival the key lock code process went smoothly. The flat was very spacious and beautifly presented, with many homely touches. The complimentary bottle of prosecco and welcome card was a lovely touch. I would most definitely stay again in the future .

Lovely apartment
We really enjoyed our stay here. It has everything you need and was very clean. A lovely big bedroom with a comfy bed, I feel like I could have stayed here happily for a week long trip, unfortunately we were only staying 2 nights. Great location very close to the shops, and the town has everything you need. The host was great too.
