The property was pretty and the owner/manager was very responsive. We had a little hiccup with the electricity going off and on in our reserved cabin, but they quickly resolved it and moved us to another. I am not sure what they would have done if the cabins had all been occupied. The cabin we were moved to was nearly identical and it already had the heater on (the first one didn't), so that was nice. The property was large and seemed well maintained. The bed was mostly comfy, but there was some kind of plastic mattress cover under the sheet that was loud and a little uncomfortable temperature-wise. This was a surprise from my husband on our second anniversary, and I was happy with it. Overall, it was a little far from town, but close to a lot of the wineries outside of town. It was a little pricey with the cleaning fee for just one night, but my husband knew that going in and Fredericksburg is just pricey now no matter what.

Weekend Stay
Stayed here for a mini weekend trip. Location was cute and woodsy, which we liked. The actual cabin is a lot smaller/compact in real life than as advertised. Ran into a plumbing issue which maintenance promptly fixed + the private hot tub was not working. Overall, served its purpose but definitely a tight space for 4 people.
This was so far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. When I first booked this cabin I emailed the host requesting to change dates due to a bad weather that wknd and we wanted to stay an extra night. This cabin wasn’t available for the following wknd so he offered the Plum and advised me to call directly so his assistant or whatever was can help us adding the extra night and change the reservation. Well, I waited for an email confirmation that never arrived. I contacted the host which happened to be in Israel but took forever to reply. He and his assistant will not communicate because none of them were able to send me a confirmation. The day we arrived our cabin was the only one with sprinklers on all around the cabin and right by the stairs that lead to the door getting us all wet, I was already overwhelmed due to I was wet and bringing mud inside the cabin so I call the receptionist and explained the inconvenience of having the sprinklers on right by checking in time when they could be done that in the morning when the cabin is empty since checkout is at 10 am, well this guy was laughing at me which I found it very disturbing when he supposed to be concerned about his customers comfort, I asked what was funny and he keep laughing. The coffee maker takes 2-3 hrs to brew (no joke)and is extremely loud so u have to start the coffee machine 3 hrs in advance (and is the cheapest one)the a/c unit is by the window so if u like to sleep this place will be a nightmare
We love this cabin! Zero complaints!
Thank you for having us!

Off the Path
We stayed in this little cabin for the weekend and loved it. It was close to the park where a festival we were attending was taking place, so travel time was nothing! Beautiful little setting. The cabin itself was nice. If you're high maintenance, bring your "needs" with you. Plenty of dishes and a coffee maker..that's about it. The bed slept well but it had to be pushed up to the wall to fit, which was fine for a few days. Ok, if you don't need to get up at night and you are on the "wall" side. Loved the hot tub for an evening but would have liked to have had a dusting of maybe shock for the remaining two nights. All in all we would stay here again for sure. Great find for our event we attended. Thanks for sharing!

Great little cabin!
This cabin was perfect for a night getaway! Loved the hot tub & perfect for 2. It is a little far outside of town, so if you've been drinking on the wine tours have a DD, or just go to the winery at the place! I would definitely go back!
