Amazing!! 100% Recommend!
This cabin is amazing! My family and I had a wonderfully relaxing vacation together. The cabin is LARGE, with plenty of room for everyone. We especially enjoyed the large dining table where we could share a meal in the evening and play cards. The area is quiet with lots of wildlife to see. We loved watching the birds and deer from the deck. I hope we can stay again sometime. Can't beat the view!

Family Vacation
This property was perfect for our family vacation. The open layout of the house and large dining table allowed us to eat and spend time together. The view of Pikes Peak was amazing, from the deck and great room windows. The location of the house was central to all the activities we planned.

Spring Break Vacation
We enjoyed our time in Colorado and having a nice house to return to every night made it a amazing trip. The house was well kept with everything needed to make it the best trip possible. It is hard to beat waking up in the mornings and seeing the view of Pikes peak that this house provides. The property owner was always in contact with us from day one.

Old and dirty house
House was dirty full of dust and very smelly sheets, blankets. Beds were very old uncomfortable. Oven, microwave and stove very old. The heater was not working appropriately it got so hot that you can’t sleep. The only good thing about this house is the view and the location. Close to the stores and very accessible to go to places.

Nice mountain retreat
Over all a great place to stay. Lots of great room and the beds were great. House is a little outdated and shows signs of wear, but nothing bad. One note is the property owner has a policy to replace toilet paper and paper towels… that’s not customary and for the price I feel is not needed. Also a little bit of trash was noted around the dumpster that needed cleaned up when we arrived and eventually attracted a visit from a local bear looking for a free meal… the bear fist was exciting but could be avoided if the trash was all picked up. Also the deck only had one small table and 4 chairs. With a house that sleeps 10+ more outside seating would be nice. So if you have some chairs that you can bring that would be helpful. But overall I give it a thumbs up. The manager was very easy to work with and communicated very well.

Mountain adventure
There were a few little things that were concerning but not a deal breaker. The septic system seemed to have issues. Anytime someone flushed the downstairs toilet, the entire house reeked of sewage for hours. The previous group/renter didn't restock supplies. We just bought some to use and replace before we left. The downstairs TV didn't work, it wouldn't connect. Other than those things, it's a beautiful property. It's quiet spacious and peaceful. The game warden came by because I guess the previous renters fed the deer which wasn't allowed. We were afraid to... Lol... I would rent again in hopes that the few things were resolved. It was great being allowed to check in early due to our flights being cancelled forcing us to drive up 9.5hrs and arriving really early. We left champagne for the owners as a thank you!! Again, it was a great experience...

Wish things could have started off differently
Things happen, I get it. The owner and I have worked it out and I will say she was very responsive and apologetic and did everything she could given the circumstances. We arrived around 9pm after a full day of travel with two young kids to find the house had not been cleaned since the last guests stay. Due to the remote location, we had no choice but to find clean linens and make the beds ourselves. After speaking with the owner the next morning and realizing the cleaning crew was not responding to her calls, we decided to spend the next couple of hours cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms and running the laundry so our next two days would be a little more comfortable. Now for the positive! The views from this house are spectacular. We were there during summer and I could only imagine how breathtaking the scenery would be during winter! The wildlife was our entertainment! The deer are very tame and came right up to us when we fed them. One evening it was a group of males, their antlers are spectacular to see up close, the next morning it was all females and their babies. They were sad to see us leave as one stood in front of our car and wouldn't let us go. One night the raccoons gave us quite a show as a mama and her two babies attempted to get access to the bird feeders! In addition to the deer and raccoons, there is a large variety of birds that visit and chipmunks scurrying around picking up any leftovers. The house is a short drive away from Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs. We drove to Divide and Woodland Springs to eat and go to the Safeway. The house is large and has an upstairs and downstairs living area- would be great for a large family or a couple families vacationing together. I believe the owner has found a new cleaning crew and will never let that happen again, I truly believe it was an accident and not her fault at all. Don't let our experience keep you from experiencing this place for yourself. We left with some amazing memories!

Beautiful home and beautiful location
This house was perfect for our family reunion! Grandma and grandpa live in the neighborhood so it was super convenient. We hosted a couple of meals and easily had 22 people there. The only drawback was that the stove had clearly not been cleaned in a long time, and the house could use a dusting and better cleaning of the floors before the next renters. Jennifer was very responsive when the internet went out and we got it restored within a day. Thank you! I highly recommend this place!

Girls' getaway
Group of 4 and plenty of space. We saw lots of wildlife including deer, fox, bear and many birds. Feeding the deer was a pleasant surprise. Enjoyed sunrise and sunsets on the deck. The indoor grill was a plus as it rained a couple evenings and was a little cooler than expected for August. Close to many attractions that we visited in Co Springs, Manitou Springs and Royal Gorge Bridge area. Overall-a great place to stay and we enjoyed our week here.

Great Place
Amenities were awesome. Everything we needed to make our vacation a success. Games, food for the deer, condiments, fans, etc. Within 30-40 miles of 3 great reservoirs. (Did not catch anything - will have to come back next year and get the fish that got away!) Could not ask for more. The road is washer board - so drive slow!

PLENTY of space and Beautiful Views
The options for a family of nine are limited but we had no problem here! Everyone had their own bed, the community spaces were open so we could all move around during meal prep and dinning without issue. Both the upper and lower lounge areas were inviting and the right size for so many. Extra towels, pillows, and bedding were available. We were able to keep up with our laundry, which was great. Animals were active and fun to watch. Location is just outside of the populated urban areas but close enough to get somewhere for an activity or supplies. Owner was tentative with our pre-travel questions and only a phone call away had a need risen. Overall a great stay!
