Secluded, beachfront family holiday house at Culburra Beach set in a mature garden with beach access by easy, direct private path to dog-friendly Culburra Beach. Watch dolphins, and sometimes whales, from the open plan living area. Comfortably sleeps two couples and up to eight children in the bunk room. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, open fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining, barbecue, fire pit, games lawn and hot outdoor bath and shower. Guests have the entire property to themselves. If your group is just two people, you can rent just the main pavilion of this same property. You'll find it listed as Culburra Beach Retreat for Two. The BEST beach house

Best views in town

Such a gorgeous house. We had the best stay with our friends. Possibly the best view and so easy to get onto the beach. We saw dolphins playing in the waves and the inside and outside fires were amazing. We will definitely come back for another visit.

Wonderful experience

Our stay at the Pavillions House was exceptional. The location was perfect with a wonderful view and the house itself was gorgeous. The new kitchen and bathroom are impressive and immaculate. This place was perfect for our family and we would love to return.

Amazing Vista

We had the worst weather but had a great time. The house is amazing, the fireplace was great & the kitchen had everything you would have at home. The home is well stocked and also had lots of games to keep the kids entertained. We will be back.

Absolutely perfect beach house

We loved everything about our weekend at Pavillions at Culburra . The house is divine , perfectly situated with direct beach access . Beautiful kitchen for our birthday celebrations, everything a chef would need plus more . We loved the outdoor dining area , the fire pit , the bathrooms are unbelievable . Will be back in a heartbeat . The owners have thought of absolutely everything and our pooch had a great weekend too !! Thanks Susan for a great weekend in your beautiful house .

Bliss

This was a long weekend reunion for my sister, mother ,myself and two dogs.The house suited us perfectly : mum sat and watched the waves endlessly ( she is an artist), the dogs went straight to doggie heaven , my sister and I did long walks up and down the beach ( especially the sheltered bit at the end) . The water was warm and totally clear.We loved it so much! We both curled up in the hammocks when we weren't on the beach.Totally relaxing.

“Never want to leave” (our kids words)

We absolutely loved our stay at the Pavilion House in June. The house was amazing. Such a cool design and styled beautifully but still felt like home. So many thoughtful details from the generous kitchen amenities to spare thongs and even the diffusers with selection of essential oils. The garden and THAT VIEW was magnificent. A wander down to the beach in the crisp early morning, followed by endless cups of coffee and pastries, lounging in the sun chairs on the lawn, gazing across the ocean or just enjoying the bird life above in those gorgeous banksia trees. We explored Jervis Bay, ticked off a bucket list item - seeing whales for my first time! Loved Huski pub. Enjoyed takeaway from The Little Snapper and dinner at the Bowling club. Long afternoon walks along the beach (the crazy kids swam every day!). Then to finish the day snuggled up in front of the fire. Bliss. Thank-you so much for sharing your very special home with us, we can’t wait to come back! X

A sun filled and fun house.

This was a really fun place to stay with so many little touches to keep you entertained on a mid winter beach stay. On sunny days throwing open the glass doors and reading in the hammock is perfect. Google Home was fun for playing trivia. We brought a couple of DVDs along and also watched a couple of the classics in the collection provided. Unfortunately we couldn't listen to the vinyl as the record player needle was broken. We played board games and I also used one of the yoga mats every morning. Our dog loved it too. We live in a small house so she was beside herself with excitement to have such a huge space to explore both inside and out. She loved her beach walks and lying in the sun by the windows. This would also be a great place to stay with one or two other couples and/or kids. Susan really provides a thoughtfully put together holiday stay. Definitely read the guest information book. It gives useful advice on where powerpoints are - something that had me flummoxed for a while when trying to plug in the hairdryer!

We loved the Pavilion

We have visited Culburra for many years. Out first time to the Pavilion. We loved it. House was perfect for our 3 generations & our dog. So relaxing & cosy. Well fitted out. Would love to return one day soon :)

Fantastic stay

Wre had a group of 8 stay at Pavilions, 2 families with adult kids. We had a fantastic stay, the property location is amazing, the house is well laid out and never felt cramped. The house is clean and well equipped and we will definitely be back.

South Coast getaway

The property is right on the beach front and very scenic. Access is easy with a laneway behind the house and parking ample. The living space is beautiful in decor and the fireplace is lovely. Kitchen is well stocked. The layout of the house probably needs to be more clearly outlined in the listing as the 2 other bedrooms is in an adjoining house which is connected by an outdoor deck. We were a bit unfortunate as it was stormy, wet and windy the night we were there. A bit tricky for the kids to navigate at night.

Heavenly break

From the outside when you pull up you think - oh. Then the door opens and the ceilings rise and the ocean is right in front and you are in heaven. Such a clever layout and furnished so comfortably and perfect for large groups. On one day it rained heavily all day and we were all able to lounge around on hammocks and sofas very comfortably intermittently chatting and reading. Very very lovely. Highly recommended.

Short Summer Stay

My family loved our three night stay at Pavilion House over the New Year period and our next visit will hopefully be a longer one. The house is incredibly stylish, cleverly designed, comfortable and well presented and kitted out. The location directly on the beach, secluded just behind the dune was stunning. Our host was so helpful and thoughtful and the management team appeared at a moments notice to help us out with something. I can not speak more highly of every aspect of what is obviously a much loved and lived in family home. Thank you Susan for looking after us so well.

Why they chose this property

We designed and built this property specifically as a holiday house on the beach. It has fun and imaginative features like a Japanese bath that opens onto the living/kitchen area, bathrooms that open to the outdoors and a cool kids' bunk room with individual lights and windows for each bed. The architect imagined a house as far from suburban but as comfortable as possible. Watch whales and dolphins from the living room and kitchen. Be involved in family games on the lawn from the comfort of the living room. Bring your dog for walks along the beach. Sit around the fireplace in the evenings and play records on the record player. (The cook can join in from the kitchen.) Choose a book or magazine from the extensive collection or find a board game the whole family can play.

What makes this property unique

This house was designed to feel different to a suburban residential home so that its occupants feel like they are somewhere unique and interesting and away from ordinary life. It was designed to take advantage of the north-east-to-water aspect with every room enhanced by light and water views. The architect was successful in creating a fun and exciting holiday environment.
