The cottage has everything you could need. It is in a prime location to access Mornington, Mount Martha and the Briars. Well worth a visit to this beautiful spot. I highly recommend a stay at Boardwalk Cottages.
We stay on average at 1 B&B a year and Boardwalk Cottages by far the best we have ever stayed at. The accommodation was immaculate. The provisions provided and the service from the owners was better than any than anything we have experienced before. 10/10 We will be back.

Wonderful quiet stay
The accommodation is wonderful. The surrounds are very quiet and the cottage is equipped with everything you might need. The property is very well maintained and in addition to the usual linen and towels provided, the owner also provides extra towels and blankets (which were useful for the few days when the temperature dropped). The only draw back would be that the property is not as close to the beach as we would have liked, but we had a terrific stay.
This was a perfect place for me, surrounded by majestic trees and beautifully maintained gardens. The cottage was comfy and immaculate. The fridge was stocked with breakfast supplies. It was lovely to find a large basket of fruit and a fresh loaf of bread on the bench. I loved my stay.
Thank you Julie and Andy
Normally, I spend the first three hours of any holiday cleaning the place before I even feel comfortable to sit down. Not here! Julie's cottage is spotless, even under the kitchen sink, even the bins! It's also super tidy, what with all the labels and friendly messages around the house, not to mention the quaint interior and calming environment. Just wonderful!
We had a great 4 night stay at the cottages. Julie was a helpful host and it was perfect being right next to the stroller friendly boardwalk into Mt Martha village. Our cottage was comfortable and well appointed - the view from the verandah was a real highlight.
We stayed at the Boardwalk Cottages for 4 days over Christmas. This was a wonderful stay! The accommodation was clean, comfortable (with aircon and fans in the heat), and well stocked. We also really appreciated the small details that made it more welcoming including chilled drinks in the fridge and a very generous pantry/snacks/fresh fruit selection on arrival. The property itself is lovely as well with expansive grounds, and was large enough to give us privacy, with the owners were easily contactable if needed.
The location was also convenient for exploring the peninsula.
Loved the position, secluded in a forest like area.
Beautiful trees, birds aplenty, resident skink.
Sitting on the raised deck, early morning sun, percolated coffee in hand, silence- just salvation of the soul.
Would have loved to have had the time to spend many more days here.
Julie is the ultimate host and has such an attention to detail. She supplied the basics for breakfast with a partially stocked pantry. That was extremely thoughtful. Cosy cabin feel, birds chirping, and just enough bush surroundings to feel remote. Really great mix of country and beach for a serene getaway.
We enjoyed Julie's cottage so much on a weekend visit last year that we came back for a week's stay. It was just perfect. The cottage is in a beautiful location, close to everything but feels a world away from it all. It is very well maintained, and Julie and her family are very responsive to any requests. Again, we'll be back!
We had a lovely short stay in Mount Martha. Check in was a breeze and we really appreciated the breakfast supplies. It’s a beautiful view over the treetops and very peaceful.
We had a wonderful stay here with our young kids 5 and 9. Very close to beach and close to Enchanted Adventure Gardens. The kids enjoyed playing with the dogs and the tyre swing.
Cottage stay was very relaxing set on beautiful property. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating, cottage fully equipped and very clean. Marley the dog so friendly, luved his visits. Highly recommend staying at the property for a great getaway.
The cottage was very comfortable with all amenities, plus the location was perfect to explore the entire region. Some lovely walks nearby with beautiful birds and native wildlife. Hosts were friendly and communication was excellent.
