For you, there’s a tranquil setting and the choice of two superb, self-contained cottages, complete with a generous breakfast hamper, wine and chocolate. In the winter months, you might choose to curl up in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine and a good book. In the warmer months, a BBQ on the verandah perhaps? The choice is yours.

For your four-legged friends, there’s a secure 1/2 acre dog play area and walking tracks that lead right from your doorstep into the bordering Wombat State Forest. Hollow Log Estate is truly dog-friendly. Dogs are welcome across the property and inside the cottages. We appreciate that your dog is part of the family.

With Daylesford and Hepburn Springs only five minutes away, there’s a great variety of restaurants on offer, from fine dining to more casual cafes and hearty pub meals. You might pamper yourself with a spa or massage, browse the local markets or stroll around Lake Daylesford.

The spacious and stylish two-bedroom Cottage is decorated with a mid-century feel. With queen-sized beds, one that can be converted to singles, it comfortably sleeps up to four people, making it perfect for two couples, friends or a family getaway. The Cottage is suitable for one or two dogs. Any more than this would need to be negotiated with the owner.
