Baybreak is a comfy, light and airy, 3 bedroom cottage, located a few minutes walk from the beach & white sands of Vincentia, on Jervis Bay (not far from Hyam's Beach). It has lots of character, polished timber floors, beach house feel, large outdoor deck for alfresco dining & plenty of glass which captures the natural surroundings.

Set among the trees in our garden and screened from neighbouring properties, the house is very private. Air conditioned and furnished for relaxed living, rear elevated private deck with outlook through the trees in our garden. Its a short stroll to beach, boat ramp, shops and restaurants.

Modern, fully equipped kitchen, comforts include free wi fi, large screen Smart TV, DVD, Hi-fi, BBQ, dishwasher, ceramic cook top, microwave oven, Nespresso coffee machine & washing machine. We provide a selection of CDs, DVD movies, games & holiday readings for the enjoyment of our guests.

What to do

Vincentia is one of a cluster of villages on beautiful Jervis Bay, Australia's premier ocean marine park, just 2.5 hrs easy drive south of Sydney.

The beaches surrounding the area are renowned for having the whitest sands in the world. The calm, crystal blue/green waters of the Bay are perfect for swimming, snorkelling, diving, boating, kayaking, fishing, dolphin watching & in WINTER there is WHALE WATCHING. Off the water there is golf, bush walking, dining & much more, all within a short distance from the house.

The Bay & Basin Leisure Centre, an easy walk or 2 minute drive from the house, has an indoor water slide and pool for the kids or gym, lap pool and fitness classes for the adults.

Visit Jervis Bay's spectacularly beautiful Booderee National Park. Enjoy a whale and dolphin cruise on heritage listed Jervis Bay.

NB: Where bookings are made for 2 persons, it is assumed it is for 2 persons staying double share (ie 1 bedroom). Where a party of 2 require use of separate bedrooms a room supplement fee of $50 per night applies.

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS:

# 2 nights most of the year
# 3 nights Easter & Public Holiday Long weekends
# 5 nights Christmas/New Year holiday period.

STRICTLY NO PARTIES - NO PETS

WE DO NOT ACCEPT BOOKINGS FOR "SCHOOLIES" BREAKS and under no circumstances do we let the house for "party" weekends.

# There are internal and external stairs which may be a problem for toddlers. Where children are included, we recommend they be steady and sure on their feet and competent on stairs.

Baybreak is a lovely property for a holiday in Vincentia. Access to beaches and shops is great.
Well equipped home with all amenities available in the living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, laundry and sunroom. Very clean and tidy. Would recommend that a night light or sensor type light be made available near the stairs.

Vicentia is a jewel in Jervis Bay; the location cannot be faulted. The property was clean and was lovely, albeit somewhat pokey - the kitchen in particular is small (it is difficult to cook with 2 people) and the stairs leading down to bedrooms are very steep, and therefore not recommended for those unsteady on their feet. Memorabilia and photos of what I assume to be the host's children provide a homely touch. On our stay, the property's internet was not working at all, resulting in us having to cut our trip short due to work contactibility (Telstra and Vodafone have virtually no phone data reception in the home, so we could not use hotspots). I stress this was the NBN, and nothing to do with the owners. Upon leaving, they did offer to provide some compensation which was very kind. The $25 we received 7 weeks after our trip was appreciated, and I do apologise for my follow-up email regarding this. We made the best of it. Many thanks, Phil and Loretta.

Wonderful holiday home
We stayed at Baybreak for a week with my in-laws over the New Year period. The house is very centrally located: it's just a few minutes to Huskisson by car, and walking distance to many beautiful beaches and Coles/local cafes. The house was clean and comfortable, and it was well stocked with utensils, tea/coffee, games and DVDs. Our wifi went down a few days into the trip, but it was actually a joy to disconnect from our devices for the remainder of the holiday and to focus on family/relaxing. We had a great summer holiday and we can't wait to return to the beautiful South Coast next year.

Great home away
Phil&Loretta’s place make you straight away feel at home. The house is roomy and well equipped. The deck at the back is superb, plenty of bird life and a visit from a possum. The beaches are not far to walk to or a short drive, as are the shops and eateries.

Very lovely property in a quiet location
We had a lovely time at Baybreak. This is a wonderful holiday property which is perfectly set up for guests. Very well equipped with anything you might need, and very helpfully labelled and organised. The TV/recreation room was an absolute favourite with my teenage sons, and I particularly loved the aspect looking out into the garden from the verandah. Highly recommended.

We were thrilled with the location- walking distance to Vincentia and it’s beaches. Short drive to national park and other surrounding beaches. The property had all of the comforts of home and included everything that you could possibly need. It was clean and so very well organised. We loved the back deck- where we enjoyed our breakfast and other meals. The bird life was amazing. Thank you so very much for offering this holiday home to be rented and used. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!

Weekend away at Vincentia
My friends and I had a amazing long weekend stay at Baybreak. The house is clean, tidy and very well equipped with lots of little touches that will make your stay enjoyable. The house is located close to beautiful beaches, lovely walking tracks, plenty of choice for eating out and groceries shopping. I would recommend this property and area to everyone.

The house is super clean and tidy. It is so well stocked with absolutely everything needed. All kitchen appliances were super clean, and all worked perfectly (Pantry items, linen, loads of books, cd's/dvd's all available.) Check in was easy. About 3 blocks to nearest shops, supermarket etc.

Phil is a retired management analyst and Loretta sometimes works casually as a re-location manager. We have 4 grown-up sons and we love spending time with family, grandchildren and being active. We are happy to share our holiday homes in spectacular Jervis Bay and Kangaroo Valley with fellow travellers. We have done house exchanges in the UK, US and Europe and love the different twist this puts on travelling and meeting people.

Why they chose this property

This has been our family holiday home for more than 35 years. All our kids spent many hours at the local beaches and waterways when they were growing up and now its being used by our grand kids. We love to be able to share this happy home with our guests from time to time.
