Amazing property recently remodeled with all the amenities necessary. Prime location wirh seclusion. Huge open space capable of comfortably accommodating my family of 10 for a week. This place has everything you will need. The property manager was amazing. She was very helpful and responded quickly whenever needed. 10/10 we will be returning
Lovely cabin surrounded by tall trees. Beautiful nature walks in quiet neighborhood overlooking Meeks Bay. Snow play/sledding in backyard and close by Sugar Pine State Park. The cabin was warm, cozy, clean, and contained all our family of 10 needed for cooking all meals and enjoying together time. Communication with Becky was easy and definitely look forward to visiting again.
We stayed at this rental for my sons 10th birthday trip. The house was a perfect size to fit 10 of us. The check in/check out process was very smooth and the home owner communicated with us thoroughly about everything. I highly recommend staying here. It’s perfectly located in the middle of Tahoe and made driving to north Tahoe and south Tahoe a breeze.
Very nice location, we were able to make a sled run for the kids in the back which was perfect. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms are updated nicely. We have stayed at several cabins in Tahoe and this one has been the best so far. Lots of room, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking for 10 people for 4 days. We were 7 adults and 3 kids and the cabin was perfect. Everything worked/easy to use, furniture was cozy and clean, beautiful setting, fabulous time was had by all.
My family and I had a wonderful time! The cabin is beautiful with a magnificent view of the lake. It was perfect for my young daughters and my teenage nieces.
This house fit our weeklong trip perfectly (four couples over 60). It has a warm feeling inside, nature surrounding it (including a bear!) and it's location was perfect with a quiet setting but still close to the National Parks we wanted to see. Everything worked and we were able to cook nightly for the eight of us. Great place to stay and enjoy Lake Tahoe. The stars at night (from the top deck) were amazing!
The house was perfect for our group of 9 with adults and kids. The kids loved the game room and playing corn hole outside. The rooms and beds were all very comfortable and light & bright. The decks were wonderful for relaxing and star gazing at night on the upper deck. The house was equipped with everything we needed and is set in a very private area in the neighborhood. Becky was amazing during the entire rental experience. She was so friendly and responded quickly to all my texts 😁 We would definitely stay again!!!
The cabin is gorgeous and had everything we needed for all whole family! Our grandsons loved the upper room with foosball and plenty of great board games. We made several family meals and the kitchen is a perfect size and well equipped! Becky, the owner, was very easy to get a hold of and was available for any needs. Just a wonderful experience overall!
We just finished our weeklong stay at this property! We will be back. We were able to celebrate our family reunion at the spacious lake house and Becky is amazing. Always very quick with responding to any of our requests! Five stars!!
My family and I were guests at the Jensen family cabin in Tahoe this past weekend and we couldn’t have been happier and more satisfied.
Becky is a stellar, gracious host that made us feel like a part of their extended family. She kindly accommodated our requests to check in early and check out late so that I could catch some unexpected work meetings. She gave us tips on how to enjoy our stay to the fullest and was readily available to answer any and all questions along the way.
The cabin itself is a winter wonderland. It is an elevated quintessential Tahoe experience that has all of the amenities that a whole family would need during their stay. It is warm, cozy and absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Every facet of the cabin has been meticulously designed for comfort and style. The home has floor to ceiling windows that make for a consistently beautiful view, you don’t even have to go outside to feel immersed in the surrounding nature. The house has two fireplaces and efficient central heating system that warms the home in a jiff! The lake views are filtered by the beautiful alpine landscape. The back yard transforms into a fantastic private snow park that enables the family to enjoy their time together, in privacy. One of our favorite parts of the cabin were the coffee table books showing the family’s process of remodeling the cabin to its present day glory and an album of their shared family moments - it really shows the love that Becky and her family put into their property.
We were absolutely ecstatic about our stay and can’t wait to return, with the location so close to the lake, I’m sure the cabin is as enjoyable and spectacular during the warmer seasons as it is during the winter months. This mountain home makes for an epic trip - highly recommended!
From the first step into the foyer, it was obvious the house had a flare for family memories. Every room was thoughtfully planned. The kitchen with two ovens complimented the perfect dinning space. The game room with its own tv, games, and restroom was ideal for the young ones late night shenanigans. The garage with outdoor essentials, like sleds and shovels, encouraged outdoor escapes. It was a house that not only supplied guest with essentials, it also brought the outdoors inside with the large window views and open patio spaces. Overall, the house was comfortable, enjoyable, and conveniently located.
I look forward to visiting in the future and encourage others to consider.
We very highly recommend this wonderful house for a great family getaway. The house is very spacious, beautifully maintained (everything works), spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need is provided! The main feature of the house is a very large, open living/dining room area with a cozy gas stove and a large dining table which can easily accommodate 8-10 people. A comprehensively-equipped kitchen has more than enough cutlery, chinaware, pots and pans for a family of up to ten people. The refrigerator is large and a new, excellent 8-burner AGA cooking stove is provided for all cooking duties. The four bedrooms are all good-size, with a larger master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a bath/shower combination. Our two grandchildren had a fantastic time playing with all the toys, foosball table etc. in the bonus room, which also had bunk beds for them to sleep overnight. We enjoyed Meeks Bay, but enjoyed Sugarpine State Park and D.L. Bliss State Park even more. Our children and grandchildren launched their kayak at the beach at Bliss Park and some of us hiked the gorgeous Rubicon Trail. We ate mostly at the house on the deck outside in consideration of Covid-19, even though it was a little cold sometimes. We also enjoyed excellent dinners outdoors at Sunnyside Restaurant and at River Ranch near Tahoe City.
The house is located on a large hillside property a short distance above the lakeside highway (89), and has two spacious enclosed decks (the upper one is especially safe for toddlers and small children, as access is only available from the bonus room). Both decks provide a filtered view of Lake Tahoe through the many trees on the property and in adjacent woodlands.
It was always a pleasure to communicate with our host Becky before, during and after our four day vacation. She was always quickly responsive either to emails or phone calls, and we can only say the very best things about her. We’ve had previous experiences in other locations with less than perfect hosts, so dealing with Becky was indeed a great pleasure. She deserves six stars, if we could give them!
Spacious, beautiful, renovated home with peek a boo views of Lake Tahoe. The kitchen is elegantly appointed and had everything we needed. The two decks provided terrific outdoor dinning and relaxing space. The large windows in the family room were wonderful. We enjoyed everything about the space. Thank you
The house is a beautiful property located not too far from the city. The location is perfect for having some peaceful time on the edge of the lake. There are lots of activities to do nearby. Becky was a wonderful host and was available to help all the time.
We were a group of 9 people and enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms are clean and spacious. We even enjoyed reading about the history of the house on the patio. Would definitely recommend to everyone who needs a peaceful stay!
My husband and I were joined my our adult children and their significant others. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen and ate most of our meals on the deck. The house has two outdoor decks that were perfect for lounging. We played corn hole and darts almost every night. There are two living areas but we spent most of the time in the main downstairs one as all the sofas and chairs reclined and were great for reading during the day. The beds were comfortable with 3 kings, 1 queen and a bonus bunk in the upstairs living area. The house was located very close to a beach and great hiking. This was our first time staying on the west side of the lake and loved it. It was central to everything but not too close to the heavy tourist areas.
What a great and relaxing week. Becky is a phenomenal host and owner. There were ten of us ranging from 15 months to 72 years old and all hand a great time. The house is well maintained and there is plenty of things to do. Playing horseshoes to Bean bags toss to Dart throwing to playing one of the many games they have there. We BBQ every evening on the lower porch on their will kept Weber BBQ and ate on the spacious deck. The house is located about halfway between Tahoe e City and South Lake Tahoe and there is a great beach for children about a mile and a half away. This is a fabulous place for a Tahoe vacation I will highly recommend this to anyone. Thanks Becky!!!
Book now -- you will not regret it! We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! We had 10 people in our group (extended family) ranging in age from 5 to 77, and we had plenty of space for all. There is a great room off of the kitchen with a large dining table and a sitting area/TV area with multiple couches and chairs with reclining features -- so comfortable! There are gorgeous lake and forest views from every room. The house sits on a hill and has no immediate neighbors -- very peaceful! We ate most of our meals at the home to try to stay safe during the pandemic, and the kitchen was well-stocked and spacious. There is a well-functioning grill on the downstairs deck as well. The bonus room was perfect for the four kids (ages 5-11 yr) -- they loved the bunk beds for sleeping, couches for lounging, and large floor space for playing games. The beds were very comfortable. The two large decks were lovely for relaxing. Our kids had so much fun exploring the outdoor property surrounding the home. There are games like horse shoes and corn hole, and cool homemade stick forts! The location of the home is perfect, with easy access to hiking, biking, beach days, and other outdoor adventures. Becky is so kind and helpful -- we cannot say enough about how accessible and responsive she is! She took the time to review aspects of the property with us in advance of our stay, and she gave us invaluable tips for fun activities to explore while there. We will definitely return to this lovely home!
This cabin lined up to the hype of all the reviews. It is in a great location close to the lake yet not far from the town. It is way more specious than what the pictures show, we all were comfortable and never felt like the place was too crowded. The kids loved the game room and spent most of their time there while we were in the cabin. We were out there to celebrate my daughters 13th birthday with some of her friends and she had a blast. The backyard area had an awesome view and a nice deck where we could hang out while the kids played around. Becky is a great host with constant communication. She gave us a few tips on where to go to enjoy a hike and for our kids to have fun in the snow. Overall, this was a great experience and we are looking forward to coming back next year!
I and my family had a wonderful time at this very well maintained home. It was quite large for our purposes and this added to the overall enjoyment of our time there. Everything was in good working order and the owner was readily reachable by phone. It never took more than a minute or two to get a response to my text messages. She was also very patient in answering all my questions.
The house itself had a large LR/DR area which made for a very comfortable living space, which included a large flat screen TV and comfortable furniture. The numerous windows overlooking the pine trees and the lake were quite beautiful, especially in the morning with the sunrise. The kitchen was well stocked and had every conceivable utensil you could need. The 3.5 bathrooms were all clean and had plenty of necessary supplies.
The house was big enough to accommodate 10+ people. Our family enjoyed staying there and would definitely return on a future trip.
This property was perfect for our family. Beds were very comfortable and the living area was very large. We will definitely rent here again.
