Wamberal Cottage is a wonderful self-contained place to get away from it all, no need to move, just relax and enjoy the peace or party with your friends and family. Or if you prefer the beach, eating out, or if shopping is your pleasure you have it all at your fingertips on the Central Coast. Foresters beach or Wamberal beach in 5 minutes and Terrigal and The Entrance in 10 to 15 minutes.
Only one hour and 20 minutes from Sydney and you will be relaxing in your own private studio or bring your family and friends and reserve them all.
Relax by the pool, have a barbecue or stroll around the two acres of manicured lawns and gardens.
A central recreation room is provided with full kitchen facilities to cook up a feast, chat, watch a DVD or you. may want to try the many excellent restaurants in the area.
Summer or winter there are many activities which cater for all seasons, the abundance of beaches, waterways and lagoons are as close as 2 minutes away from Wamberal Cottage.
The onsite Managers are available to provide any information or assistance to make your stay at Wamberal Cottage a great experience.
Wamberal Cottage is perfect accommodation for divers on the Ex HMAS ADELAIDE, we are located 6 minute drive to the Haven in Terrigal. We have amply paved and grass area suitable for gear wash down. Heaps of parking with plenty of room for boats. And in the evening you can gather in the rec room for a meal and dive talk.

Save your selves money
The place needs to be inspected. Mould in the bedroom ceiling, amenities not working. Hole in the pool where the filter is, very dangerous. Not a place for families with kids.Kitchen full of cockroaches not big enough for a large group.the owner is nice but the place needs to be gutted and rebuilt. Gardens are nice and that’s the only nice thing about the place. The owner occupies cabin 6 and has a lot of stuff outside which brings bugs and it just looks messy.overall we were disappointed about the place and believe mislead by the pictures on the website.

Fantastic getaway for large groups and families
We had an amazing stay at Wamberal Cottage. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The set up was perfect for our group of 17. Each of our 5 families/couples had a room/cabin and enjoyed the pool and communal area. The gardens were beautiful and plenty of room for cricket and outdoor sports. The pool was a hit. The kids also enjoyed playing with the host Steve’s friendly golden retriever James Bond.

Boys weekend away
Excellent spot for friends and I to have a weekend away. Close to golf, breweries, bowlos, and the beach. Accommodation is simple but clean and had everything we needed. Pool, BBQ, space to throw a ball around. Steve is a great communicator, had heaps of helpful advice for activities and places to go.

Awesome venue for our group of families with teenagers. Plenty of room for a game of soccer, everyone had a bed and plenty of bathrooms and the common areas were fantastic. Loved the pool. Plenty of parking, lovely quiet property. Steve was a great host, very helpful and friendly. We’d definitely come again!

Excellent spot for a bucks weekend. Central kitchenette next to pool with toilet is unreal. Beds are basic but all you really need on these type of events. Wasn't aware that the host lived on site, however, Steve was a real gentleman and super helpful and never understanding. His partner was also extremely nice and accommodating. Great spot.

A little piece of well established paradise nestled into a beautiful part of the world . Wamberal cottage is the absolute ideal location for that special wedding or event, or just to have a lovely family gathering. Can’t recommend it highly enough. End of the hosts are just the most amazing people always there if you need them otherwise you would not know they are there. Excellent on every level

Birthday weekend girls trip
When we first arrived to the property we were overwhelmed with the tranquility of the location and the perfect layout of all the rooms. The cabins were huge in size and everyone found comfortable beds. The rec room was a perfect spot for us all to gather and enjoy into the evening and the next day we enjoyed a girls weekend event with some extra guests visiting for the day. Steve was wonderful and very respectful and lovely to deal with. We have already asked to come back for annual events and have shared this property with other family And friends to use. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Steve

We stayed with an extended family group of all ages. Each family had their own separate space. The kids loved the pool and the grass to run around on. The property is located just a 5 minute drive to beautiful beaches.

We were looking for somewhere in a nice location that had lots of sleeping options as there were 9 ladies, none of which were a couple. The accommodation was set up perfectly for just this. None of us had to share a bed and we were given 4 of the cabins which each had a shower, toilet and little kitchenette. This was perfect for any of us that got tired of "socialising" in the recreation room. The beds were ok but many of us did comment that were could not have slept on the mattresses longer than a couple of nights. But in reality, nothing beats the comfort of ones own bed. There were a few minor maintenances issues like dripping vanity taps in cabin 3 and 5, the dual flush in cabin 4 stayed on, the kitchen light not working in cabin 5 but this may just be a case of changing a light bulb. TV connections not attached, a few lose pavers in the garden and the veranda decking needs an update. The recreation room was a perfect spot to play music, heat up dinner and once warmed with the provided heater stayed warm to enjoy the night. The terracotta floor had obviously just been cleaned before we got there and was still pretty wet so we needed to put on the oscillating fan heater to dry it enough to walk around in socks etc There were also a few unwanted creepy crawlies but bug spray was provided to get rid of these. We stayed in winter so we couldn't make use of the pool but this area was very clean so would be great in Summer. Solar Twinkle lights in garden was nice touch.
