This was a great location with lots of amenities. The home was thoughtfully laid out and had everything anyone could want. Highly recommend for anyone looking in the area. Thank you so much!
Our stay was very nice. Loved the house. Lot of space very clean. The bathroom were stock with all the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion and it was good stuff! Hot tub and gas fire pit was great! Seen deer and rabbit every morning! We had lots of laughs on the big front porch!
Great stay and great location close to Manitou and National Forest. House is extremely comfortable for a small group. Fair warning if you stay in winter you will want 4 wheel drive for the driveway. Its steep but my truck handled it just fine as it was plowed.
This place was fantastic and exactly as described. Kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean and tidy. Hot tub was a game changer. We forgot a few things and the property manager was super accommodating in sending our things back. Highly recommend!
This was a well-stocked, clean rental. The location was great as it felt remote, but was only about 5 minutes from town. Lots of space and enjoyable experience.
We had booked another property for our family reunion that was held in Woodland Park. It ended up getting sold and we had nothing. Then the manager of that property got us in touch with this one. We had 6 adults and 3 children. The listing showed a king bed, queen bed and a room with a double with a bunk and a pack and play. Perfect for our son, wife and two children. When we arrived that room was just two twin beds. Because the children were age 4 and 2 they ended up sleeping in the twins with the children. The next night my husband and I found other sleeping arrangements at another place so they could be comfortable. I have asked for some reimbursement but got push back from the property manager. Kevin did not let us know there was a modification to the room. The beds for them were not stable. I do not recommend this property at all.
Overall the house was great. The inside was clean for the most part. There were a few cigarette butts in the driveway when we arrived. The only other thing is the steep driveway. They do mention you need a running start to get up the driveway, but the grade on that is pretty bad. .
wonderful vacation home. Everything we needed was there and it is literally 20 minutes from all local attractions. Would recommend 10/10 for any family.
This was our second stay at Bear Paw and it did not disappoint. Located in Woodland Park in the mountains it is a great place to vacation. Trails nearby, nice park in town and beautiful views of Pikes Peak. Owners are very quick to respond to questions and concerns. Would highly recommended both Bear Paw and Woodland Park.
Very child friendly, dog friendly, well stocked, and a great location to enjoy many outdoor activities. The house was very comfortable for us. We had no idea if it was a good location…we picked it only because it showed as the half way point for two families. It turned out to be far more than we expected. Even though it was wooded and private feeling, it was about 5 mins from an adorable town that has everything we needed. We packed in tons of activities in our week stay; garden of the gods, pikes peak, Royal gorge. The yard is fenced too for the dogs. We’d love to come back.
This location is great if you want to explore the mountains or head into town for supplies! Check in process was easy and owner communicated well!!

Our family was excited to stay here again as we had stayed here 4 years ago. (Before there was a hot tub.) Unfortunately the hot tub was not clean and the cleaner was not available to use as suggested after use. Upstairs bathtub does not hold water for a bath for small children. Upstairs sliding door is very heavy and difficult to use. . Caution use of this door for small kids.
Response time from the owner was not great when responding, if at all.
Otherwise an ok stay!
The house was great! Hot tub worked one day and not next property manager had someone out next day and fixed! Close to many spots to see. Would recommend to use!
This home and yard were a very good fit for our family with 5 little kids ages 1 to 6. So many helpful things were provided for the safety and entertainment of children (safety gate for the stairway, huge box of toys, a swing set in the back yard, as examples). The area was quiet and we enjoyed seeing deer in the back yard. The kitchen was so well-equipped for our family meals. The hosts answered our questions promptly and were easy to work with. Thank you for a very good place to spend time together as a family.
This was a nice sized home and perfect for a family. The yard is nicely fenced in case you are considering bringing your pet(s). The home has been updated with new flooring and paint. The hot tub was enjoyable and we used it almost every evening. We enjoyed our stay and intend to stay again next year!
