OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD
We live in an amazing neighbourhood - you can find a lot of trendy coffee shops, bistros, and restaurants close by. It's quiet, safe and very importantly, for those who know windy Cape Town, it's relatively wind-free! Rare indeed for this city..
My favourite places are too numerous to list (I started but it got too long and I didn't know which ones to take out!), so for more info you can refer to my manual.
Thank you for reading this far! I've given you a lot of info, but as I said before, let me know if you would like my house manual before you get here. You'll definitely get a copy when you arrive. During your stay, Ronel and I are available 24/7, if not physically, on airbnb or phone (sms, calls or chat apps), so please feel free to contact us anytime.

About the host
Hosted by Heidi Baasch

I'm an entrepreneur. I love working and I absolutely love spending time in my home. Not exactly reclusive, at least I don't think so. Favourite book? The Incredible Lightness of Being. Movie? Babette's Feast. I love going out for wonderful food with friends and there are plenty of both in this beautiful city I'm so fortunate to live in.
Why they chose this property
When I moved to Cape Town in 1995, I dreamed of a house by the sea, exactly like the one I live in now. At the time, common sense prevailed and I lived in the southern suburbs, close to schools etc until 2005 when my dream finally came true! I love my home, I love the surrounding area and I never want to leave.
What makes this property unique
When I walked through the front door (which isn't the front door any more), I knew I had found my dream. I fell in love and nothing has changed that feeling. The view that you see as soon as you walk in, is all I ever dreamed of. That, and the sound of rain on my tin roof is my version of heaven.
