We aim to deliver what we would want in a vacation home for our family. Exceptionally clean and fully stocked. When you come in the door we want your breath to be taken away! This is a custom built 2 story 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home right on the bluff of Lookout Mountain, GA. Relax while enjoying the view and unwind with a glass of wine on the balcony and watch the sun se

This is the perfect location to catch up with your family and relax with friends. This is not a party house. This home is located close to Rock City (7 M), Ruby Falls (7 M), Cloudland Canyon State Park (10 M) and the largest hang gliding park (1 M). Chattanooga and all it has to offer is only 14 miles away.

Sleeps 6 comfortably all on beds. Can accommodate 8 people maximum if needed with 2 twin airmattresses. Layout: King on 1st floor master with attached bathroom and bathtub. Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed and bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds. Bedroom 2 and 3 are both upstairs and share a Jack and Jill bathroom.

Stunning Views

Great property. The pictures don’t do this property justice. Our short stay was great. The house was very clean, nice furnishings, and comfortable beds. We will definitely be back! Stacy was very quick to respond.

Mountain Getaway in the Clouds

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Our Home in the Clouds rental. Here’s a quick review of what we noted… Pleasant surprises: 1. Centrally located between virtually all the attractions in the area. The host provides very helpful and detailed information for nearby attractions and destinations (including restaurants, gas stations, hiking, dining and grocery stores). 2. Extremely well supplied with toiletries, kitchen necessities (including spices) 3. Excellent BBQ grill 4. Comfortable bedding and a smart thermostat that helps keep the home cool on hot days and warm on cool days 5. Outstanding communications with our host… very responsive and eager to help when requested and eager to stay out of our way when something could wait Great, and delivered as promised: 1. Beautiful sunset view off three balconies 2. Great outdoor seating on the balconies and great views from the many windows facing west 3. Clouds and mist in the valleys and foothills almost every day 4. Modern kitchen and flooring amenities 5. Bedding options for 6 people (king, queen, two twin beds and an air mattress if needed) 6. Entry and departure instructions were easy to follow and implement A few watchouts: 1. It’s a mountain location. You may get rain and sun in the same day. 2. Don’t expect to walk in the immediate neighborhood. It’s a rural location on a mountain road, not a subdivision.

Family Vacation From Fort Lauderdale

Ill I could say it's AMAZING, the view is amazing, driving up the mountain was so much fun, didn't have to leave the mountain to go to Ruby Falls, Rock City, and Point Park. We drove up from Florida and our family from Tennessee area came to visit. The house has everything you need and more. Sitting on the deck and waiting for the sunset was one of my favorite things to do. I will definitely come back.... 100%

Great house

We have stayed in a lot of homes on VRBO. This was one of the best! Amazing view, very well Stocked with things you might forget to pack. (We needed a bandaid…it was there!) Highly recommend!

Wish our stay was longer

We were in town for a wedding, so our stay was short. We would have been thrilled to stay longer though. The house was great, and the view is spectacular. The home owner provided a lot of information about the area, and that was a really nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Breathtaking View

That says it all! We spent essentially all our time in the house on that back deck. (So happy the wifi reaches all corners of it!) Comfy beds, well-supplied kitchen. Easy drive to Chattanooga, only 10 mins from Lookout Mountain! Host extremely responsive, super smooth check in and check out. A wonderful stay.

Loved the comfy house and amazing views

The house was well stocked especially the kitchen. Much more than just your basics. The guest room had a comfy rocking recliner that was perfect for rocking my baby to sleep. The living room was super comfy too. Plenty of space for our family. The view was phenomenal. We took many great pictures and enjoyed beautiful sunsets on the balcony. Stacy was easy to communicate with and a perfect host. We are grateful for the accommodations and would highly recommend.

What a lovely, lovely piece of serenity.

What a glorious place! We met friends who were on their way back home after dropping their son off for college in Florida. We had lots of space, including enough space for privacy and yet there was plenty of space for congregating. Everything was amazing: Clean, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, host was stellar about communicating and keeping us informed. The mornings and evenings on the porch were as special as you’d imagined. Just magical. The price for this VRBO is also very fair and the value is very much worth the cost.

Relaxing stay

No words to describe. If we didn’t already have plans for the area, I think we would all have preferred to stay on site and just enjoy the view. Our entertainment were several birds flying in and around the porch areas. We had a very gusty afternoon and there was a larger bird showing off his gliding talent. He just looked as if he was having the time of his life. Thanks again to Stacy for the hospitality and many recommendations.

Will be back!

We needed a place near Mentone to spend time with our kids before we dropped the at camp. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed with everything you need to fix and serve meals. The host gave amazing recommendations for restaurants in Chattanooga and the surrounding area. We lived on the porches and we loved having a dining table to eat and play games while having an amazing view. Thanks for sharing your getaway with us- loved every minute!

Amazing views from decks!

We had a mini-family reunion and all of us LOVED the views from the decks of this property. Three couples stayed in the house and four other family members drove up to visit with us. Plenty of room to seat everyone and the long range views were wonderful. Well stocked kitchen and great outdoor grill for cooking. Comfortable beds and the owners responded quickly to one minor problem with an appliance.

Our second visit - it does not disappoint

This is our second stay at this property. Simply put, the house is amazing. We choose our rentals based on their proximity to things we want to do. This year we chose the rental because we enjoyed it so much last year that we couldn't picture ourselves staying anywhere else. The views are amazing from the deck. We spent HOURS every day relaxing on the deck during the week, watching the hawks float by us at eye level (and below). The house is comfortable and spacious, with room for everyone to relax inside and out. Having the grill is a nice feature and we took advantage of it being there. The master bath is spacious and the floors are heated – also a very nice touch. The location is excellent – close enough to Chattanooga to do our sight-seeing and touristy things – but far enough to be away from the commotion of a more urban property. Even though there are several houses adjacent on the ridge, we rarely saw or heard from the neighbors. We also had access to the garage and the garage door opener, which is very nice to have, especially for loading/unloading the car when the weather isn't great. Our interactions with the property owner – Stacy – were top notch. She is extremely responsive to questions we had when they came up and we always felt like if there were any issues, it would be handled promptly. We will keep this property on our favorites when we consider our next vacation.

Amazing Views!

This place worked perfect for us. We loved that it was easy to get to and the views were stunning! We were able to cook breakfast every morning and dinner every night. We had a blast on or trip. Father/son trip

My son goes to school at UT Chattanooga, and I was visiting for the weekend. I was tired of staying in hotels downtown, so looked outside the city. This house was absolutely perfect for my son and I!
