Summertime Cottage is the ideal location for a relaxing break away with or without the family! Relax in laid back shack style with only a bottle of wine between you and the beach. Light the fire, drag over a couple of easy chairs and kick back… This spacious and cosy cottage combines comfort and convenience with an outlook that is to be envied! Stunning views from inside and out as you take in the absolute beauty and quiet activity of Southport’s bay. The beach fishing is second to none. A fishing rod will soon have a couple of good sized flathead in the bag. Squid can be caught from the end of the jetty at night, under the light. Huge Oysters and mussels can be collected off the rocks past the boat ramp at low tide. Whether you are after a romantic getaway, a great family holiday or a week’s fishing, your dream holiday awaits you at Summertime Cottage!
This area has become known as "Far South Tasmania" and is quite unique. There are lots of things to see and do, if you can drag yourself away from the beach.

Beautifully clean and tidy place to stay beds were very comfy and warm. Hard to find somewhere to stay being a larger family so this house worked perfectly for us
Very clean and cosy. Great outlook out to sea from living areas and bedrooms. It was good having a fire as it was very cold. The only disappointment for us was the weather which stopped us from enjoying the deck and beautiful view. We thoroughly enjoyed a day at Hastings Thermal pool and caves. The pub was great for dinner which was suggested from the host. We also enjoyed a BBQ at the property. A remote and secluded area of coastline offering lots of natural beauty.

Fantastic place to stay for a relaxing few days, a perfect stop for us to re-charge!
We stayed over Easter sland had the best time. Summertime cottage is a stones throw from the beach, it wasvery clean and warm. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon. Thank you so much for such a beautiful accommodation.
Summertime Cottage was cute, comfy and cosy. Perfect for our 5 night stay. It had everything we needed. We went for lovely walks along the beach, watched the Pacific Gulls and sea eagles, and explored the area (South Cape walk). Would highly recommend the cottage to anyone looking to relax and unwind and world the world pass you by.
This place was superb and comfortable for the whole family, lots of thing to do and see as well as relax. Everything what we needed was there and easy to look after. Totally wonderful and look forward to coming back.
House has Bazillion dollar views. It was clean, warm and had everything we wanted. Kitchen is tiny but we didn't go to spend the day cooking

Comfortable cosy seaside old charm cottage. You can’t beat location as it is situated directly across the road from the beach. The views are magnificent looking out over the bay.
We had a great few days staying at Summertime. Loved the wood fire inside and watching the bird life and water views outside. Comfortable and clean- a great place to stay and explore the area.
Fantastic views, comfortable accommodation & lulled to sleep each night by the sound of the ocean a just across the road - absolutely LOVED it!!!
We WILL return!!!

Cute comfy holiday house
Great view and cosy with the fire going - we bought a local lobster and had a cook up ... simple facilities but functional
A great location to relax, away from it all, especially in winter. We lit a fire, and had cozy evenings cooking comfort food and savoring local TAS wines. Lovely local walks, and scenic drives.

So lovely!
This place is a gem. You can watch the waves roll over the length of the beach from the couch, dining table and sun bed. The sound of the waves and the wood heater had us relaxing in minutes of arriving. The place is a perfect layout and had absolutely everything you usually forget to pack (I.e salt, oil, paper towels etc). Comfortable furnishings and very comfortable beds
