Tariff Information

Rates are usually based on a minimum of two nights' stay and the number of guests.

Full bed linen and towels can be provided for a small cleaning/hire fee.

The Easter break, school holidays and long weekends are popular and so are considered peak times with special rates.

For your added security, this property is only managed in Australia and we never request payments be made to overseas bank accounts.



The new $36m Augusta Boat Harbour means easy boarding for all ages and many more whale discovery excursions. Winter Specials for Whale Watching may be available on request.

nice big house with nice views
We stayed for two nights in August so the weather wasn't the best but the house is in a great spot with plenty of space for a whole family and great views. The furniture is in great need of upgrade to be able to rate this property any better, it was extremely uncomfortable but everything else was fine.

Wonderful location so close to the Donavan Reserve and the amazing Flat Rock. Very reasonably priced and comfortable.

Great family getaway!
It was a quick easy last minute trip and it all went off really well. We got really lucky with weather considering it was winter. House was great and suited our needs. We would take little heaters next time for the kids bedroom at night. It’s a wonderful quite area which was great but this also meant we couldn’t sit out on the balcony playing music without complaint which was a shame, but being winter didn’t have too much impact on our plans. It was good to just be away!!

Myself, my partner and another couple had a lovely stay until we had $200 taken from our bond 2 WEEKS after staying at Augusta hideaway. We left the house in a perfect condition and followed all house rules. The ‘caretaker’ has told the owner the house had $200 worth of cleaning with no evidence at all! We feel owner is being taken advantage of by his ’caretaker’ Host has now gone quiet and not responding to any emails or calls since the funds have been taken. The way we have been treated by all, is disgusting and we have been robbed of our bond. I have picture proof of the condition we left the house in and we are in process of going through stayz and our bank to take this further and get our money back. Would NOT recommend staying here.

A beautiful holiday house with everything we needed and more. Plenty of room, fully equipped kitchen, a lovely view and a quiet neighbourhood. The owner was great and made the visit really easy. Would definitely visit again.

This house had plenty of indoor space and outdoor deck space. Plenty of utensils, plates, glasses etc. The view from the house was beautiful. You could see the river. The house is in a lovely neighborhood setting. I would most definitely stay here again.

Delightful & Spacious
We occupied this property for 2 days in February 2022. The communication with the owner was excellent. We had no issues with the property at all. There were plenty of beds and couches to choose from to accommodate 4 adults and 2 children. The 2 bathrooms were appreciated after a day at the beach. The deck provided an outstanding view across the Blackwood River to the east. Highly recommended for a multi family holiday. Will use again.

Great location
It was such a relaxing, and yet busy holiday of us, we throughly enjoyed the location, it was close to so many places we wanted to see and the fishing was good. This home was our go to place to sleep and eat, it was ideal for our needs. Loved the outdoor balcony, beautiful breeze and view. Thank you

Basic , clean accommation
Clean , basic accommodation, not flash, if you go in the winter it is very cold in the house with only two electric heaters. In the summer would be fine. Decor is dated , and carpets are tatty but if all you are after is beds and basic facitlities then you will be satisfied which is all we expected.

New Year Stay
We stayed at the Augusta Hideaway Holiday house from xmas to new year period, the house is great with more than enough room for up to 9 people to spread out in a fairly quiet location bordering the river. The owner was very easy to get along with (thanks Terry) and has all the amenities you need for a trouble free stay. It was a really relaxing holiday and only being half an hour from the Margaret River region wineries and attractions gives you plenty to do. Only thing to consider down here is it's quite cool for the time of year so don't rely on swimming every day to keep the kids amused. As stated we had a very relaxing time and I would recommend this holiday house as very comfortable and great value. Ross

Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Beautiful atmosphere out on the deck. Easy access to the town and local attractions. Not luxurious, but had all the necessary amenities. Gracious host who was willing to accommodate specific needs.
