Dongara and Port Denison are twin towns, an easy three and half hour drive north from Perth on the Brand Highway.
'Coral Coast Sunset Deck' is located at Port Denison. It is an airconditioned, 2 storey townhouse, designed to maximise the very best of relaxed seaside living.
Fully self-contained and sleeping a maximum of 7 people, it is perfect for two families or just two people looking for a romantic weekend getaway.
3 Bedrooms consisting of the following: 1 queen size bed, 1 double bed with single bunk above, and 2 single beds. All have linen, doonas, and towels provided. Additional linen for the sofa bed is available on request. There are 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets.
The upstairs lounge area has views overlooking the Indian Ocean with a large balcony. Also upstairs is the master bedroom, with ensuite, and a second twin bedroom with its own bathroom and toilet. The master bedroom has a ceiling fan, while the second upstairs bedroom and lounge area are separately air-conditioned. There is a TV, DVD & video player in the lounge area.
On the ground floor there is a central living/dining area with TV and sofa bed, leading off to a bedroom with bunk; a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer; an alfresco area with outdoor table, benches and gas BBQ. The laundry has a washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, and ironing board. A small drying rack is situated in the garage.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
You will need to bring your own food, drinks, and beach towels, golf clubs, fishing gear, surfboards, snorkel & diving gear, skateboards, and/or your boat.
The townhouse is 100m from the beach and a 10 minute stroll to the Port Store shopping complex, and Southerly's Tavern. Liquor Store, and Takeaway fish, chips and burgers. Southerly's Tavern overlooks the marina and fishing boat harbour. The Tavern serves bar and restaurant meals. There are also a wide range of restaurants and take-away outlets in Dongara.
Next door to Marina Heights is the Port Denison Recreation Centre with skateboarding, tennis, basketball and squash courts available.
Port Denison boasts the only remaining Drive-in Theatre in Western Australia.
Fishing opportunities abound from the beach, the platform and marina jetties as well as by boat. Ramp facilities at the Marina are first class and smaller craft can be launched directly from the town beach. The Marina is a working Lobster Fishing Port and you can see the boats docking to unload their fresh catch.
Visit the Dongara - Port Denison website or the Shire of Irwin website, for upcoming events and other local attractions. The Visitor Center in Dongara is first class with helpful staff with good local knowledge.
Travelling Australia's Coral Coast along the Indian Ocean Coastline from Perth is a great adventure, and for those guests driving further north, Port Denison is a most rewarding staging point on the forward journey, or as a leisurely rest station on the return leg south. - consult the Australia;s Coral Coast website for details of routes and travel times.
How to get there:
As a key destination along "Australia's Coral Coast", Dongara and Port Denison are twin towns, an easy three and a half hour drive (360 km) north from Perth City. You can get here by by one of two routes:
1. Indian Ocean Drive via Yanchep, Lancelin, Cervantes (Pinnacles), Jurien Bay
2. Brand Highway via Gingin, Badgingarra, Eneabba
driving by either route, access options to Port Denison from the highway are
1. Turn left into Kailis Drive (turnoff approx 15 km Perth-side, or south of Dongara)
Drive 15 kms along Kailis Drive which takes you through the sand dunes to Port Denison.
Turn right when you reach the Marina, onto Point Leander Drive. Follow the drive approximately 1 km until you reach a roundabout and take the second exit. Follow along Ocean Drive, passing by the Big4 Caravan Park on your left, and then take the first turn on your right into "Marina Heights".

2. Follow the signs to Dongara and drive into town along the main street, Moreton Terrace.
Turn left to Port Denison (Opposite Westpac Bank), along Point Leander Drive.
Cross over the bridge and drive approx 4 kms until you reach the Big 4 Caravan Park. Turn right at Ocean Drive (just before the Caravan Park), and then the first turn right is "Marina Heights".
