“A lovely holiday stay!
This is the second time that we have stayed at Whale Watch. The house is very spacious, clean and well maintained. It's only a short walking distance to the patrolled Malua Bay beach. The ocean view from the huge deck upstairs is fantastic! The kitchen is very well equipped with utensils, cookware, dinnerware, Nespresso coffee machine etc. Anne is super responsive and very easy to communicate with. Thank you so much Anne for another wonderful stay! We'll be back. Lan”.

At Whale Watch the ocean is close enough for you to hear the sea or smell the salt air.
Each year in late winter and spring, the waters off Eurobodalla's coastline become a busy place for humpback whales heading south from their northern breeding grounds to enjoy feeding in the Antarctic Ocean - many of our guests have experienced the beautiful sight of these whales from our expansive deck.
There's a spacious, very well equipped kitchen where you can look out to the ocean while preparing your meals. The family room upstairs (with large TV) is adjacent to the super-sized covered deck, equipped with a Weber Q and hammock and a 10-seater BBQ table and chairs. The north-eastern aspect is perfect in the morning to soak up the sun or at the end of the day evening drinks on the spacious deck is an ideal setting to watch the moon glistening on the waves.
A spacious bathroom upstairs invites you to enjoy a soaking bath; downstairs is another bathroom and laundry as well as a another family room with an additional TV and built-in CD player - so no squabbles over who watches the cricket or your favourite show.
We know what it's like to pack for a holiday if you have small children - Whale Watch provides (on request) a portacot or a free-standing cot, change table and high chair... and there's a reliable washing machine and convenient clothes line.
Opposite Whale Watch is a walkway to the clifftop - perfect for walking along to either the patrolled Malua Bay beach or beautiful McKenzies Beach. No need to take your car - Malua Bay beach is a 7 minute walk; McKenzies Beach just 10 minutes and when you get back to Whale Watch it has an outside shower to get rid of the sand. There is a great fishing, snorkelling or swimming spot three minutes down the road at Garden Bay. Finding a spot under the shady trees while you read a book or watch young children swim is so relaxing, safe and enjoyable.
The local Malua Bay shops are a 10 minute walk down the road, offering everything you need - grocery shop, liquor shop, great butcher, chemist, newsagency, restaurant and take away shop. Just a five minute car ride is the Malua Bay Bowling and Recreation Club - here you can meet up with the locals on a Friday night for the well-known meat raffles as well as enjoying the fun of the regular karaoke. The tempting menu from the restaurant inside the club provides a variety of food for all tastes. If you don't feel like driving, the club provides a free bus to pick you up and drop you back home.
Whale Watch is available for weekly rental and weekend getaways.
For weekend rentals arrival time is 2 pm Friday and departure is 10 am Sunday.

Great things to do while you're staying at Whale Watch
