The space

The farmhouse is situated on an ex 100yo dairy in a secluded subtropical coastal valley, & with its rich history spanning three generations of dairy farming, you'll be transported back in time to a bygone era. The historic farmhouse is a work of art, fun, funky and with every detail carefully curated to create a rustic, stylish and relaxing space. There are four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms (which incs the luxe outhouse bathroom), so there's plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Guest access
Bond with our furry friends on the farm, the miniature belt galloway cows Socks & Boots (known as Oreo cows in the US), and our horses Bud & Roman. The kids will create lifelong memories and experiences as they hand feed them BYO carrots. Further, In addition to the farmhouse, guests have private use of the luxe outdoor entertaining cabana, the spring-fed swimming water lily pond. The luxe cabana is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the morning birdsong & afternoon sunset views, and it comes equipped with an outdoor kitchen, dining area, and lounge space. The swimming pond is surrounded by lush vegetation, so you can soak up the sun and cool off in the refreshing water.

An unbelievable property that we hope to return to every year. We got to reconnect with some old friends in the most beautiful environment. The board games were such a great touch as well. Cannot recommend this property enough and David and Beth as hosts were phenomenal!

We visited Dave and Beth’s SOULitude Farm stays over the summer break and we could not have a better and more relaxing time. Dave and Beth are extremely welcoming and gracious hosts and showed us around the property and the animals. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We spent many evenings just taking in the outdoors and interacting with the animals from the lovely decked area. Our toddler especially loved Boots and Socks and our dog has had the time of her life sniffing around the property. We will definitely be visiting again! Thank you

We very much enjoyed our stay. The place had everything we could have wanted and such a beautiful, green outlook. The kids had a ball, and was close to visit friends for a day trip in Port. Would highly recommend!

Dave and Beth were amazing hosts, friendly and helpful in educating the kids about the animals, then stepped back and gave us peace to enjoy. We had a wonderful stay at Soulitude. The property is very relaxing with everything you need. Hosts were very warm and welcoming and we had a fabulous dinner at the Friday night pop-up restaurant in the local village of Hannam Vale. We only stayed 2 nights but next time will stay longer as we did not have enough time to enjoy everything this property has to offer. Also note when we booked the listing said BYO linen but all linen is provided so no need to bring anything.

Peaceful, beautiful location and home. The mini cows being a highlight!
We are very grateful to both Beth and Dave for sharing their acreage with us. The traditional home was very comfortable and lovingly decorated. The surrounding gardens, fruit trees and pond evoke peace and tranquillity, which was only surpassed by the private bath within the rustic barn. Family meals and a nap were easily enjoyed in the outdoor pergola. However, meeting their friendly horses and hand feeding carrots to the gentle mini cows "Sox and Boots" was definitely a bonus.

Country quiet relaxation
We were seeking some downtime just relaxing in a beautiful location. We certainly found it here and the dogs loved it. The farm house is so well appointed with everything and more you need. Beautiful covered outdoor entertaining area with fully equipped kitchen. Beth and Dave have thought of everything! The second bathroom is something else with a beautiful big bath to soak in and a shower with a difference. We will be back!

FABULOUS
We had the most fabulous time here. Dave and Beth have seriously thought of everything. It was definitely our home away from home. We had the best time staying on the property and there is no reason to leave but if you do there is so many amazing places to check out within 30 minutes we went to Waitui Falls, Harrington, Dunbogan and Billabong Zoo. If your thinking about booking, do it you won't regret it. And a tip woolworths deliver here! Also Kew Hotel has great food and a lovely vibe. Thanks again Dave and Beth for making our holiday so enjoyable.

Perfect Property
This was a beautiful property and we will definitely be back!! Stunning views and a beautiful peaceful location - aaah, the serenity!! So good for the soul - thank you SOULitude and Dave and Beth are the absolute perfect hosts. House was well-stocked with everything provided that you need for your stay. The home was very clean and lovingly cared for and stylishly decorated. Lots of wallabies on the property to watch. We loved it - it was exactly what we needed. Please note that if you take your fur-babies, the fenced house yard will not contain them. It is suitable for dogs that do not wander and will stick by your side and they do not want to get into the paddocks to play with the cows and horses or chase the wallabies :-)

Family of five, we stayed for 10 nights in this oasis for the soul. We used it as a base to explore as many of the interests in the region up and down the coast and inland as we could, snorkelling, beaches, bush walks, coastal walks, waterfialls, fishing etc etc etc. We also managed a quiet few days just hanging about in the local area. Waking up to the wallabies and birdsong, coffee in the cabana and bbq's (and more wallabies), feeding the cows and horses carrots in the evening, this was the best break we have had in a long time. The farmhouse is thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and beautifully decorated throughout. The owners were lovely and could not have been more helpful with any little bits of advice or needs we had, while giving us all the privacy and space you'd expect from a place named Soulitude. We loved it and would love to return.

Our week at Soulitude was perfect- once living in the country we could not wait to return - lots of family time. Lots of games around the table of a night next to the fire. We even took the webber and cooked up a feast each night. The kitchen had everything we needed .The outdoor bathroom was fantastic . the views were spectacular and so quiet in the morning.We took the boat to the Manning river and had a BBQ on the beach, 4wdriving along Crowdy head beach , Watui falls was 10 minutes away and so was Swans crossing camping area. After a day out adventuring close by it was so nice to go back to solitude and relax on the verandah in piece and quiet. Our one year old dog had a blast playing outside with her boys . We cannot wait to return to this beautiful house in An amazing location. Soulitude had everything and more and we cannot wait to return.

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth
What an amazing experience! Words and pictures can’t adequately capture the experience we had at Beth and Dave’s amazing property. Firstly, Beth and Dave themselves are the perfect hosts as they have invested so much into this property and go above and beyond to make sure that the stay is perfect. Always on hand if needed, but they also gave us space and privacy to enjoy the property for ourselves. It was the little touches that made all the difference like taking the kids for a horse ride in the paddock, arriving with a soccer ball at the perfect time, lots of local knowledge and tips, and just genuinely lovely people to interact with. The cottage itself is perfect. Very clean, with plenty of games, books, and country charm. 4 lovely bedrooms, two bathrooms including an amazing separate bathroom in the garden with a claw foot bathtub, large overhead rain shower and luxury amenities. Just heaven! Then there is the location. Only a short 20min drive off the freeway, but it is a completely different world. Surrounded by undulating hills, lush green valleys, still operating dairies, and pristine nature everywhere you look. Kangaroos/wallabies are outside your bedroom window in the morning, our evening dinner in the gazebo was spent with a couple of Kookaburras perched on the branch behind us as well as Rosellas, Gallahs and Magpies providing the perfect ambience and background music for dinner. The only downside was that we only booked 2 nights here to break up a long road trip. We won’t make that mistake again and will definitely stay for longer next time!

Absolute Bliss
We were so happy to find such a beautiful place for a weekend catch up with friends. Bonus, we could bring our dogs too! The house is great, especially the new al fresco dining area and the outdoor bathroom. The kids loved the pond and we were grateful for the host's advice on local beaches and waterfalls to explore. Book it, you won't regret it!

Incredible escape from the city
Amazing property with views of the valley and surrounding plains and comfortable amenities. Splashed with rustic luxury such as the pontoon down on the pond perfect for a day in the sun and the rainfall shower for a refreshing end to the day. Outdoor decking and covered area made for lovely sunset dining and drinks. Short day trips to wineries and into Port Macquarie or just spend the day at the property enjoying the peace and quiet 🙏🏻
