WE CANNOT PROVIDE "SAME DAY CHANGE OVER" BOOKING DATES BECAUSE OF THE CLEANING TIME REQUIRED TO PREPARE THE LODGE FOR NEW GUESTS.

This was an excellent venue. It was everything we expected but unfortunately, we had a very hot weekend and there was limited cooling in the rooms. Stand-alone fans helped but unfortunately no air-conditioning in any of the bedrooms. It was an unusually hot weekend for Kangaroo Island and the house was very hard to keep cool.

Fantastic house and beach location
This is a superb house for families to enjoy. We were a group of 13 and this included 5 children under 12 years, with plenty of space to spread out. The beach is amazing whatever the weather.

The Perfect Stay!
Our business group have just returned from our annual retreat, a 3 night stay in Kangaroo Island. This property was absolutely perfect in every way, with a beautiful view over Island Beach (which is a stunning beach) and easy access to the many gorgeous places to visit on the island. Martin is an excellent host, and was most obliging in every way from our initial enquiry right through to departure. Very highly recommended!

Great property but difficult owner
When we tried to book the owner asked for considerably more money and then changed our dates to fit his cleaning schedule. Normally I would have declined but it was the only property on the island that would fit our group.Then when we left he accused my son of making a hole in the wall.The property was in an amazing location with great views. It was very well presented and stocked.The owner was also quick to respond when the wifi wasn’t working. However there was a used Band-Aid on my daughter’s floor and hair in the shower.

Amazing property in prime location
We loved our stay at Island Beach. We were 2 families with children from 2-15. There was plenty of space for all children, island beach is probably one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever visited and the children loved spending their day there. There was so much wildlife - we saw kangaroos, seals, wallabies and penguins in the area. Will definitely stay again

Amazing Getaway!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent trip to Kangaroo Island and Island Beach Lodge. The house is in a stunning location and my kids (age 8 & 7) loved every minutes of the wildlife and beach literally on our doorstep. The communication with Property Manager Martin was second to none, he was so very responsive and very understanding of needs. We will certainly be looking to stay at this property again, next time we visit Kangaroo Island

Unforgettable view, private property in quiet neiboourhood. Property is very well laid out - bedrooms are split into 4 sections. Bedroom are very spacious. Please feels like home than vacation home. Well maintained and clean. I will recommend to my network.

Stunning house and magnificent views
We chose this house for a 70th birthday celebration with all the family. It is very spacious with stunning picture windows to the sea and beyond. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out and have space when we needed but also very family friendly communal spaces too. Had a lovely visit from a couple of the locals looking for a snack on our first night to the delight of our youngest grandchild. Highly recommend this house.

Beautiful getaway
We had an incredible family getaway and we all felt that this beautiful house was the highlight of our Kangaroo Island holiday. It is in a perfect location with stunning views and everything you could possibly need thought of. We were a group of 10 and very comfortable in the house with plenty of room between us all.
