This delightful beachy -feel, FAMILY and PET FRIENDLY house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac extremely close to shops, Casino, Convention Centre, beach and within walking distance is a fish and chip shop, BWS, newsagents, dog park around a lake and superb Coffee Shop G and G...Its quite simple Location , Location, Location!!!

The property has been a real favourite with guests for its very reasonable rates and has been reviewed deservingly by clients who regularly return from year to year! The buzzing and vibrant Broadbeach is simply a 10 minute stroll or 2 minutes in a car/bus.

Entering through security electric gates(ENOUGH SPACE FOR 3 CARS/BOAT within driveway), this open plan property is tiled in the living areas and carpeted in the bedrooms.
The master is ensuited and sliding glass doors open onto pool area and canal from both the living area and main bedroom. Being East facing the entertaining area and swimming pool is sunny from early morning to mid-afternoon(this is a full-size pool, photo may be deceiving), kayaking on request and fishing from the patio completes the scene!
For anyone who has a boat the driveway is big enough to accommodate and is thus totally secure. Public boat ramp is 1 min away next to the Convention Centre on T E Peters Drive.

Second bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has anothet queen bed .. .....Pet friendly and guests have remarked that this is just the perfect dog-friendly house , fully fenced with a large front area and undercover back yard for the dog, who is also allowed indoors if required

This great value house has one other vital ingredient to ensure a fine holiday... ..AIR CON in the living area and main bedroom to ensure total comfort for those hot Summer nights and ceiling fans in all other bedrooms. If it's Winter the air cons will warm the house if required.

Location location location!!
Had a great 12 night stay with husband and son, plus our little dogs. No complaints at all.. The location is perfect for us as we love going up to Cavil Ave. The tram is nearby aswell. Also a perfect view for the NYE fireworks. Will be staying again for sure

Great spot for kids. Host was amazing and communicated really well. Enough parking room for a 4x4 and a 5.5m boat on a trailer inside the yard was a big plus for us

First impression…Hoped we'd arrived at wrong house
Presentation of the property outside was dismal.. But you've paid in full, sight unseen and what can you do? Now we understand why there wasn’t a photo of the front of the house Once inside things only got worse and as the Owner was oblivious to anything being not up to scratch…constantly telling us how wonderful the property was, we left our complaints unsaid. So we won't be returning and suggest the owner get professional cleaners in urgently... I originally wrote a detailed answer, but believe it may leave me open to abuse, so have deleted the rest of answer I have read the other comments and believe the house may have missed being cleaned before we arrived as most other comments are positive

Great Stay
This property is perfectly located in a quiet area. Nigel the host was very communicative and walked me through the house and how to use everything. It is nothing fancy but at the same time just perfect. Its a no fuss, great location, pet friendly home.

Couldn’t have been better
Had a wonderful stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or vicinity of this property. Nigel met us at the front door and showed us through. He was also on call if we needed anything. We had the use of kayaks and fishing rods to go for a paddle in the canal. We were within walking distance of the centre of Broadbeach. Lovely cafe called The Alchemist only a short distance away. Thanks again Nigel. We hope to be back.

Stunning location & convenient to all amenities on the GC & a short drive to all the theme parks
4 generations of 1 family, under 1 roof for a 3 night weekend - great grandmother (85), grandparents (60 and 53), mother (32) & a great grandchild (3.5 yrs) plus our 2 small dogs. We celebrated Mother’s Day (3 mothers all together) & a 60th birthday. We enjoyed the Miami Marketta Markets - a foodies dream, with live music & endless cocktail options on the Friday night, mini golf, arts & crafts, stunning clothing, beautiful wind chimes, hanging crystals, gorgeous jewellery, a petting zoo, horse rides plus stalls that would suit anyone’s taste, including fresh fruits & vegetables & beautiful potted plants & some amazing food & wine at the Carra Markets on both the Saturday & Sunday, & a stroll along the Surfer Foreshore for the Saturday evening markets. There is just so much to see & do on the Gold Coast & the house was positioned perfectly. The dogs could play securely in both the back yard (on the canal) & the fenced front yard. We enjoyed brunch each day at a different restaurant at Broadbeach (so many to choose from) & we took a stroll through Pacific Fair. A few of the adults stopped at the Casino for a hand of cards or 2. We all enjoyed the pool, feeding the ducks & seagulls, building sand castles by the canal, fishing from the deck or the edge of the pool, using the kayak & the dogs enjoyed fetch on the sand of the canal at low tide. Our host, Nigel was a delight to meet & communicate with. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was just perfect! So very relaxing!

Amazing Place!
Absolutely amazing place! Was prefect for us and happily stay there again (hopefully we will be back) . Awesome sitting by the pool of an evening with the bbq cooking, took out the kayaks for a spin as well. Also caught a decent fish or two off the back door step! thankyou to Nigel for everything you were a fantastic host and you were right the fish & chip shop at the corner is a ripper!

Great Place, close to Broadbeach Strip. Pool was spot on for morning dips and Evenings when back from being out and about. Kayak the canals, Crab Potting, Fishing. Nigel was very they welcoming. Definitely be on our list if to venture that way again.

Location Location Location!
This is our 2nd visit to this house and it’s our ‘go to’ for short holidays to the Gold Coast. So close to EVERYTHING and getting around is a breeze - on foot, bicycle, local bus service, the Gold Coast tram, or your own car. The single level home (very easy small step up into house from entryway or any of the large sliding doors around the house) is near the end of a street on a canal. You feel very much at home here. The swimming pool is on a lower level (you walk down a set of stairs) right next to the canal and the pool is always clean and refreshing especially after an outing or for some light exercise or to just chill out in and around. All amenities are here; so convenient. Highly recommend! Great host!

We had a very relaxing enjoyable stay. Nigel the owner was just lovely. He was onto anything as soon as we mentioned it. The premises were just perfect, the beds comfy and great because they contained our dog. We definitely will stay there again. It was a very happy experience.

HOLIDAY TRIP
NICK IS A WONDERFUL FRIENDLY HOST WHO GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO ENSURE YOU HAVE AN ENJOYABLE STAY. ALL THE APPLIANCES ARE BRAND NEW AND THE CARPET IN THE BEDROOMS IS VIRTUALLY BRAND NEW AS WELL. WE ALWAYS GOT A VERY PLEASANT BREEZE IN THE AFTERNOON WHICH WAS REFRESHING. THE LOCATION IS GREAT BEING IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO 2 SHOPPING CENTRES AND A VERY GOOD FISH AND CHIP SHOP. THERE IS AVERY SECURE YARD WHICH OUR SHELTIE ENJOYED WANDERING AROUND,HAVE NO HESITATION IN RECOMMENDING THIS HOUSE AND NEXT TIME IN BROARDBEACH WE WILL BE BACK.

The 3 bedroom home was perfect! The spacious open plan living area is fantastic, all 3 bedrooms offer built-ins and near new carpets. Both bathrooms are almost brand new, the kitchen. Is very comfortable with all cooking facilities needed to cook for the family. The property is very comfortable inside with 2 reverse cycle air conditioners. Outside is fully fenced and is very pet friendly (my frenchie loved the place). The host, Nigel is fantastic! Nothing was a bother, he was very helpful and advised some great spots to check out! Highly recommended

We had a fantastic long weekend with everything accommodated to enjoy the Coast and relax with our 2 dogs. It is in a perfect location close to Pacific Fair only a short drive away.
