We enjoyed our getaway to Provincetown at this property. The deck has a phenomenal view and watching the sun go down on Cape Cod Bay with a glass of wine in my hand each evening was the highlight of the trip. The property is centrally located to everything and Jack is available if you have any questions.
Great location, very friendly host, clean and well appointed. The front deck is spectacular.

Nice property, good location
We have stayed here twice. Both times the property was spotless, well maintained, quiet and comfortable. 2 bedrooms downstairs share a bath and there is a half bath upstairs on the main level along with full kitchen and living that opens to large deck with chairs and a view over the harbor. There is lots of natural light and the location is great in the near West End, half block off Commercial, so you can walk to everything easily. Grocery, restaurants, liquor, bars, galleries, gym, shops are all within walking distance. 5 minute walk to the very center of town. You don't need a car. Jack is a great host and was available next door to answer questions or assist, but everything went smoothly and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great Condo...
My partner and I loved staying at this condo. The unit is well kept inside and out. The bedrooms, living room, kitchen are good sized and nicely decorated (with great closet space). Jack was friendly and responsive. The location is perfect and the view is spectacular. The pictures don't the the condo or the view justice. We will definitely be back soon!

Lovely condo with great views of the harbor.
Would highly recommend this terrific condo, located near the heart of town! Lovely harbor views from the large deck really enhanced our stay. Easy day trip to Boston on the nearby ferry. Wonderful selection of eateries, shopping and bars ( not to mention the beautiful beaches) to enjoy. Jack, the owner, could not have been more pleasant, helpful or more accomodating. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in P-Town!!

Provincetown penthouse
The place is perfectly situated in the center of town but away from the crowds and noise. Stunning views. Kitchen has everything you need and top floor is full of sun. Parking space is a real plus. A great home base for anyone who wants to explore the area. Jack was very helpful and attentive.

Spacious and well kept
Our experience with this property was positive. Jack greeted us when we arrived, showed us around, asked about changing towels, made us feel at home for the week. He was always very cheerful and upfront about some of the other reviews on the site. After talking to him about them on the phone before we committed to the rental and again once we got there I was satisfied and would return if all the variables line up again.

Spectacular Summer PTown Rental
We have been coming to Ptown for many years now for the 4th of July week. This is our 3rd consecutive year back at 5 Conant Street. This condo has one of the most breathtaking views of the harbor from the 3rd floor deck. We love the open plan in the main area. The high ceilings and the large windows give the room a great sense of airiness. We love the window framed view of the Ptown Monument like a living picture right outside. Every morning we get up and enjoy breakfast together. It's a great way to start the day.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We love the 1.5 baths so that everyone has space to prep for going out.
Jack keeps the place spotless and is easy to reach if you need anything.
We have already pre-booked for 2016 because we love the comfort and location of this terrific property.

Fantastic views and the best location in Ptown
My husband and I have been coming here for the last 3 years. We always spend the week around the 4th. Of all the places we have stayed in Ptown - and we have been coming here for over 20 years now - this one is the best!. The location in the West End is perfect. The unit it clean and has the added bonus of 1 1/2 bathrooms! And the upstairs kitchen/great room has one of the most amazing views in Pown. The photos do not do it justice. The views must be seen to be believed! Not to mention the huge deck. Perfect for relaxing. And only a block from Mussel Beach and the Boatslip. Intend to come again in 2016. Jack is very attentive to our needs and we highly recommend this place if you are staying Ptown.

Provincetown Penthouse does not disappoint!
This wonderful Provincetown Penthouse was exactly as described, and pictured, on the website. The top floor is really what the place is all about, and you are treated to expansive views, many windows and lots of natural light. The penthouse is above the other buildings on the block, so you can easily see the ocean and local neighborhoods.
Provincetown is busy, crowded and noisy....yet, that is part of what draws us there every year. Still, when I am done with the crowds, I want peace and quiet...but I don't want to be too far from it all. This great home on Conant Street was quiet, peaceful, private....and yet, 5 minute walk and we were passing Spritus Pizza and in the middle of it all.
Jack was a great landlord. He recommended several restaurants, we tried them all and not only were they great, but we would never have tried them without his suggestion. The locals were eating at them, and that says a lot! Halfway through our stay we came back to find that Jack had left us fresh towels outside our door, in case we needed them. He was attentive yet at the same time invisible, and respective of our privacy and time there.
We would happily stay here again!

The good, the bad and the VERY ugly.
I stayed at this property for 3 days and had a great experience just until we departed. My conclusion:
The good: the West End location is excellent and the views from the deck/living room are amazing. The apartment was delivered as depicted in the advertisement photos. The owner gave us a lift to the Pilgrim Monument which included a stop in an old cemetery to point out a great spot for my photographer friend to shoot pictures. This was very much appreciated.
The bad: The wifi barely functioned during our stay (the owner confirmed that onsite service was very spotty). A dish washer and washer/dryer were absent which isn't a big issue for a short stay, but I would have missed these appliances for a week-long rental (this apartment was not advertised with either of these amenities).
The VERY ugly: Upon arrival, the owner gave us a quick tour of the property and requested that the sliding glass doors and windows on the upper level remain closed during a storm. This seemed like a reasonable request as the room is at the top of the home and has an unobstructed exposure towards Cape Cod Bay (be warned: there is no A/C on the upper level so I'm certain that it would be stifling hot with all of the windows/closed during the heat of the summer).
The advertised A/C units were not in-place for our visit so our bedroom windows were open during the final night of our stay. Rain was in the forecast and a total of 3 bedroom windows and one bathroom window were open---no more than 2" above the window casings. As we prepared to return to NY, the owner BERATED us (I'm in my 40's and my married couple friends in their 50's---all three of us are responsible home owners). He yelled "rude, rude rude!" and continually referred to us "you people" while ridiculing us for keeping the sleeping quarters/bathroom windows slightly open. We were all stunned by this tirade but we maintained our composure while he chastised us. We were great stewards of the property during our stay as we did not drink in the apartment, did not smoke, did not play loud music, did not come in late at night (the owner maintains a cottage right behind the apartment so anticipate some interaction with him). We felt as if the owner's confrontation was completely inappropriate, unprofessional and tactless. If you stay here, prepare to follow an exacting list or rules or suffer the consequences for not doing so. This was a horrible way to end what was otherwise a great visit!

Above It All In Provincetown
Over the years we've stayed at numerous B&Bs, inns and private cottages in Provincetown, but this quiet, two-story penthouse with stunning views of the town and harbor and close proximity to restaurants, shops and the beach is by far the best experience we've ever had with regard to lodging. From the get-go we felt right at home, thanks to our helpful and friendly host Jack. With its tastefully decorated and fully furnished kitchen/dining/living areas, private deck, and two comfortable bedrooms with plenty of closet space, we will be back, hopefully next season.

Beautiful unit with amazing views and location!
First off, the pictures of the inside of this gorgeous penthouse do not do it justice. It is spotless, nicely appointed, a great layout with living space on top floor and bedrooms on the second. A bathroom on each floor is very convenient also. The kitchen is beautiful with sliding glass doors onto the large deck. Views are amazing! The livingroom also has sliding glass doors onto the deck. Did I mention the views?? Vaulted celiings in the top floor space and ceilings on second floor had to be close to 15' high which left us feeling we had plenty of space in the bedrooms. Great closet space and the beds were very comfortable. We brought our own pillows (we always do).
The building is quiet and therefore not a place I would recommend a rowdy group...if you are planning on THAT kind of vacation, stay at the Boatslip ;)
Jack is a wonderful owner and is there if/when you need him while giving you the privacy and respect you want during a vacation. Our deposit was returned quickly without need for followup. A real pleasure all the way around. If I had a second home in ptown, I would want it to be this place!!!
We will be back. Thanks, Jack!
Love,

Great Views, Great Location, Great P-Town Rental
Four of us (two couples) stayed here for Halloween weekend 2012. The place was great. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful views and a perfect location. The owner was friendly and attentive, accommodating a late-night check-in and letting us keep the car parked at the place long after check out to do some last-day shopping and dining. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful time staying here...
views are top notch
the house is modern, clean, and spacious
the kitchen is more than adequate
bedrooms were nice size and beds comfortable
the location is good, in the near west end
the property owner accommodated our late evening arrival
nothing major that I could critique, though I do agree that you don't like alot of steps this might not be the place for you - but the trade off for the steps is a view like none other.

great provincetown experience
This is our second two-week stay in this apartment. We're veteran vacation apartment renters in New England and in Europe, and we love this place. The owner is very flexible and accomodating. The view is outstanding, and the apartment is very pleasant. We usually like to stay home and cook, which we have no trouble doing here. We recommend staying here.

Beautiful Views. And That's It.
If I were only reviewing the spectacular view from the deck of this place, it would be 5 stars. Make no mistake, that view is glorious -- but you can see that from the photos for yourself. Unfortunately, that is all there is to recommend this place, and I'm at a loss as to why the previous reviews don't capture just how substandard this property is for the price that you pay. I truly don't expect luxury amenities in a vacation rental -- but there were so many instances during our two week stay where I felt as if I was in a Jersey Shore timeshare.
The furniture is dated, uncomfortable Ikea-standard quality. The carpet on the top floor is a strange combination of 3 all-weather Home Depot area carpets overlaid on top of each other (be careful not to trip). The kitchen is barely functional, a collection of mismatched Corelware plates and stained cheap plastic leftover spatulas, dull knives, etc. I could go on, but suffice to say that it appears as if not one extra dollar nor one thoughtful finish has been applied to this place. Which is fine if you're paying low rent money. But you're not. And the resulting effect is that the experience of staying there is cheapened and disappointing.
Finally, please be aware that you will be signing a lease which states that occupancy in the unit is limited at all times to those names that are listed on the lease. We mistakenly took this to mean no overnight guests. It does not. It means that only those people who are listed on the lease can set foot on the property, period. And the onsite owner will meet you at the door, a copy of the lease in his hand, the minute that he believes that you are having people over who are not on the lease. This happened to us (day 2 of a 14 day stay), and it was disconcerting and disheartening. In 11 years of leasing in Provincetown, not to mention renting vacation properties all over the world, I have never run into a situation where the onsite owner acts as residential assistant in a dormitory. I expect that there is a maximum occupancy in any vacation rental, and I will cheerfully abide by it. I've just never run into a situation where I felt the need to have to bargain to be able to have two friends over for an afternoon cocktail (no overnight guests, mind you) in a place that I have legally rented. If this seems like the opposite of the friendly, casual, open vibe of Ptown, then you know how we felt. Renter beware.

A perfect place to stay in Provincetown!
This condo is everything and more than what we expected from the ad on this site! The location is perfect, the place is clean and immaculate, the views spectacular and the owner, Jack, is a very gracious host. He was there to greet us as we stepped out of the taxi and we felt very welcome and comfortable from that point on during our week in Provincetown. Everything we needed during our stay was available to us in the condo. The bedrooms were just the right size and had plenty of closet space. It was hot for a few days and the AC in those rooms was very welcome and appreciated. At night we were able to sleep with the windows open and although it is close to everything, it was far enough removed to not be disturbed. We slept very well the entire week. The views from the huge deck were awesome and we took plenty of pictures from that vantage point! The living area is very comfortable too. Another plus is the general store is just down the hill, and the Boatslip is steps away. Jack is very friendly and helpful and offered us assistance with getting around town if needed. He was even helpful after we left! I lost my eyeglasses in PTown which were found the following week. The glasses were delivered to Jack and he shipped them back to me, no questions asked. There is no doubt we will be staying here during our future visits to PTown!!

I love this place. First, the views. Spectacular!!! Next location, location, location. You can't get any better than this. The rest: very clean, bright, cheery, and spacious. I make it a point to stay here each time I come to Provincetown. Jack is very friendly and tries to make sure you have everything you need.
This rental unit is even better than it looks in the pictures. The view and the porch are spectacular. The apartment is clean and neat and well-furnished. Everything is within walking distance, even the super market. The landlord is very accomodating and easy to work with. We're going back next year.

Location Location Location . . .
I've been to PTown 7 times so far - stayed at guesthouses - had a great time. Never leased a condo before - Condo is best! This place was great. I was going to post one of my photos to prove the FANTASTIC view but what you see on the site is really what you get. It's got a great location, its in excellent shape and looks brand new. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need for all meals. Everything works including the WiFi internet. We walked everywhere. It's close to grocery, pharmacy, bike rentals, coffee shop, pizza and located between ALL of the exceptional restaurants on the west end and the center of town. It's quiet at night so I slept well - very important to me. Another reviewer recommended it for "55+". It has two flights of stairs so may not be suitable for people with mobility challenges. I think it would be an excellent lease for a wide range of visitors or vacationers or workaholics. It's a great $$ value and I want to lease it again.
