This 1920's bungalow has been recently renovated in all the right places - new bathroom, new kitchen, new outdoor space. We held on to the charm of the original 1920 craftsman style. With 1,400 square feet of space, it features a huge sitting porch, lots of light, original hardwood floors, craftsman molding, large fireplace mantle and built-in cabinetry.

University Pub Craftsman has a fully-fenced yard with fire pit and seating areas - perfect for pets, kids, outdoor dining and relaxing.

Recently added a second bathroom and awesome Rec Room/Bar with Darts and a Shuffleboard Table!

PET FEE: $100. Two dog maximum.

great location

Will come back. Kitchen smoke detector is very sensitive- no well done toast. Upper part of stairs going to lower floor needs some type of handgrip or rail for older folks. Great neighborhood and well equipped kitchen.

Ideal oasis

Absolutely loved the home - old world charm with updated features. Comfortable and very clean, useful amenities throughout the home‼️Just a short distance to downtown and very easy to navigate. I hope to return soon - too many things that need to be done…🎉

Well-equipped convenient location

Well-maintained property with everything you could possibly need for a stay. Nice private outdoor space and short walk to the Green Lantern. Walking downtown is a bit of a trek so we opted for the short drive. Communication with the manager was excellent. Highly responsive to all questions. It’s worth noting both bedrooms are on the main floor, but one of the bathrooms is in the basement. Great stay for two couples!

Walla walla Getaway

This property is close to Downtown and a very central location to wineries, golfing, bars, and restaurants. The basement has darts and a smaller shuffle board table which are fun for an nightly wind down. Thanks for giving us a place to stay.

Great property

This house is a great, convenient property for 4 to 6 people. It’s about a 25 minute walk from the downtown area; it has a nice little game room downstairs; it’s super clean and it has nice amenities, like plenty of towels, plenty of shampoo packets, and a welcoming bottle of wine. Definitely recommend.

A great property

This is my 3rd time staying at the "yellow house". Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, basement game room is really fun. Bring your own portable speaker if you want music.

Very nice house, good location, easy transaction

Excellent stay! Terri was very easy to communicate with. Check in was easy (side note be sure to use the code they give you on the front door keypad and not backyard door). House was well stocked, bed was comfortable and game room was great. Easy access to downtown. Backyard was great for our dogs! Would absolutely stay again!

Fun Little Home

We stayed here with friends for Fall Wine Release. Beds were very comfortable. The game room was fun. Only complaint is the furniture wasn't very comfortable for lounging.

Great house in a perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay here for the two nights we were in Walla Walla. The house size was comfortable for our two couples and the games downstairs so fun! (darts and shuffleboard) Location was excellent as it gave us an opportunity to get a 30 minute walk in TO town and BACK from town - mostly through the beautiful Whitman campus. Quiet, clean, comfortable beds and a kitchen with most of what you would need. We loved the outside table on the front porch as well as in the garden. Great communication prior to our check in. We would stay here again for sure!

Great neighborhood and cozy cottage

The location is great, close to 2 parks and many restaurants. Quite neighborhood and great for two couples. One bathroom on main floor with walk in shower. Enjoyed sitting on the covered porch with coffee each morning.

This 1920 Craftsman home has been in the Dashiell family since 1979. It has always been a warm happy cozy oasis. Dennis and Jeannette Dashiell took over the home from Dennis’ mom Sharon, who lived there through her career as a beloved local grade school teacher and later in her retirement. The Dashiell family lives in Bellingham WA now but family, friends, beautiful vistas, sun, great wine and an exceptional Walla Walla food scene has kept them coming back every chance they get. Dennis and Jeannette did most of the remodel work themselves with great attention to detail and are very proud of the house as it stands today.

Your vacation dollars support a noble cause: In January of 2014 the Dashiells lost their college-bound daughter Hannah to a car accident. Hannah was pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor. A scholarship fund has been set up in honor of Hannah’s legacy of generosity and caring.
