About this property

Bung Yarnda Lakeview House

We have a 3 bedroom house within walking distance of Lake Tyers and a pristine stretch of The Ninety Mile Beach.
If you are a fisherman the lake is a fantastic source of the things that make you happy. Over summer months when the moon is right you can catch your own prawns.
The lake is also great for swimming, kayaking and skiing.
The ocean is great for surfing and swimming or just enjoying natures beauty.
All these things are within 300 metres.
The Water wheel Tavern is also a stroll down the road where you can enjoy a meal or drink while taking in the scenery from the decking.
Lakes Entrance is the closest town which is about 7 mnutes drive away. Here you can enjoy more fine dining, beach going and watersports and shopping.
Great natural tourist attractions surround us and its a place for nature lovers and bushwalkers.

Lake Tyers Beach Lake House - Upstairs

It is a two storey house freshly painted inside and out with ocean and lake views. The entire top floor is an open plan living area with a centralised kitchen.
If you visit us in the colder months there is a fire to heat up the coldest of winter days or nights. We have a split cycle air conditioner to either take the chill off or cool you down.
Everything is designed to capture the views. There is a gas BBQ on the balcony to cook those fish you catch!
A cosy carpeted area to one end is where you can relax and watch television or a movie. The rest of the flooring is polished timber.
There are a number of games and puzzles for the children to play.

Lake Tyers Beach Lake House - Downstairs

The bedrooms are situated on the bottom floor. Our house has three large bedrooms and accomodate strictly only 8 people. Ideal for a large family, two small families or 3 or 4 couples.
The main bedroom has a queensized bed, ensuite and television.
The second bedroom has a queen sized bed while the third bedroom has a single bed and a tri bunk.
When considering our home please take note that STRICTLY NO MORE THAN 8 PEOPLE allowed and 2 night MINIMUM stay. Christmas/New Year and school holidays require MINIMUM stay of 5 nights.
The main bathroom has a shower and bath. The laundry has a washing machine.
A large decking area welcomes you and it is a perfect place to sit and read or enjoy the views.
The smaller rear deck is an area shielded for privacy and quiet enjoyment with a day bed to relax on while you read or snooze.

Lake Tyers Gem

Beautiful property with amazing views over the lake. Spacious, well appointed and comfortable - a minutes walk to the water. The host is excellent and always a message away from assistance - even making the property available early to us. Will 100% like to come back & can recommend.

We had a lovely week at Lake Tyers Beach. The house was clean, in a great location, great views from the balcony, lovely local walks, easy car trip into Lakes Entrance to pick up supplies, eat out, etc, and communication with Leanne was always a breeze. The local tavern was great for a special night out too. Very happy, thank you :)

Perfect location.

We had a great stay in Lake Tyers. The house is about 600m from the boat ramp and a short walk to the pub. The house is perfect four our group and we would highly recommend it. We will be booking this house again next time we come to town to go fishing. Only criticism is the lawn out the front was very water logged with rain and seemed to have a leak from a drain. Very wet under foot to get to the house. Other than that, the place is fantastic. Thanks for letting us stay. Cheers Mark.

fab house in a great location

this was a return visit from us. We love staying here. House is fabulous with large balcony and lake views. Very relaxing, with lots of comfy couches and a large kitchen with everything you could need. Fishing jetty just a short walk away.

Large house with lots of living space upstairs. Has fantastic view of lake from living area. House is cosy and warm with adequate heating in living area and bedrooms. One suggestion for improvement is to have some place to hang clothes in the third bedroom.

Stunning views, comfortable & spacious house

We had a really relaxing stay. The views over Lake Tyers are stunning and the house has been designed to take full advantage of enjoying the views. We had a very comfortable stay in this spacious, well equipped house. Leanne & Bill were lovely hosts, sharing fishing tips and a kind welcome gift of milk and eggs. The kids enjoyed playing with the various games in the house. The curtains in the kids bunk room were very thin, so the kids woke early. The house is a short walk to the local Waterwheel Tavern and a short drive to Lakes Entrance. Thanks for a relaxing holiday.

Lovely house with great views

We stayed as a family of four for 5 nights. Really loved the space upstairs as there are nooks for everyone to escape too, while still being a lovely big open area. Enjoyed eating out on the balcony when the weather complied. The RC air con was needed for both cooling and heating while we were there & made the space comfortable. The backyard was lovely too - nice grassed area for my daughter to cartwheel and a lounge chair to relax on. I'd like to see thicker curtains in the bunk/kids room as they often woke earlier than us in our dark cocooned space! But all in all we enjoyed staying at the house and communication with Leanne was great :)
