Kokanee at Dinner Plain

Kokanee offers a unique winter retreat for families or keen skiers comfortably sleeping 12 people in this 3 level home.
Ideally located in the heart of Dinner Plain it is a short walk to restaurants and bars, general store and ski slope.
Mount Hotham is a short 12 km bus ride drive away.

In the summer Kokanee provides a retreat for those wishing to escape the heat and hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoy the scenic walks and incredible views of the alpine region.

Kokanee contains 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living area and a loft which sleeps 4 singles and acts as a kids retreat.

WIFI: not available. You will need to use your own data on your device or just talk to each other old-school.


Kokanee Features

Kokanee can accommodate 12 guests in 4 bedrooms and a loft. Three bedrooms (with queen size bed) are located on the 2nd floor with a bathroom and toilet. The 4th bedroom (with queen size bed) is on the 3rd floor adjacent to loft area which has four single beds. The ground floor contains an open plan living area, kitchen, bathroom with spa bath, toilet and laundry. The entry way and laundry are well equipped to deal with storage and drying of snow gear and equipment. A built in bbq for your entertainment is located on a deck with ample bench seating set in a peaceful bush setting with snow gums. The large window seats are perfect for curling up with a book. Couches flank the central fireplace, ideal for relaxing and chatting with friends.

Books and boardgames are provided for your entertainment.
The kids retreat also has a TV and a DVD player.

The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, ceramic hotplates, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery.

The laundry is located on the ground floor and is fully equipped with washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron. Laundry detergents and kitchen detergents are supplied. The laundry doubles as a drying room with ample hanging space.

There is parking available for 2 vehicles. Other vehicles may park with a permit (free of charge) at the long-term car park at Scrubbers End.
Linen and towels are not provided in the booking rates. If required please advise number of guests and bed configuration for a quote.

Quick snow trip
We had 12 people stay the weekend. It was a great little house that made a great base for us to chill out and relax after our day in the snow. We all were constantly commenting on how cute and efficient the space was and appreciated the rooms and spaces available!

Snow Family Holiday
The house was everything we needed. There were 12 of us and there was enough room for all to relax. Plenty of room for all to eat and to cook for all. 2 bathrooms and 2 seperate toilets was great. The fireplace was beautiful. Plenty of room for snow play around. The beds were comfortable and the heaters warm. Loads of firewood and supplies to help the holiday maker. I would recommend Kokanee to anyone and everyone. Joanne is lovely to communicate with and very happy to help us guests.

Fantastic Family Snow getaway
After booking for last year and having to rebook we got to enjoy a perfect holiday in the snow. The house had everything we needed to enjoy meals and cosy family time with lots of heating provided. We did not have to use our car all week as everything was close enough to walk. Plenty of areas to play in the snow around the house. My grandchildren loved their first snow holiday. Highly recommend this house as a great value family holiday location. Thank you Jo & Peter.
