Step back in time to Syvila's Cottage. This darling bungalow was built in the 1940's and is home to the same family that renovated it today. All the charm remains but the updated kitchen and bath are a real bonus.

The private backyard is almost one-half acre. Fully fenced, lovely old growth Weeping Spruce trees throughout the yards, covered outside seating for dining or just relaxing in the garden.

Great place to stay when visiting Walla Walla

Lovely property on a quiet street, within minutes of downtown Walla Walla and the Whitman campus - made for a very convenient place to stay during our recent visit.

Quaint Cottage

Perfect for two couples or a family of 3 or 4! Back yard and patio area are comfortable and inviting. House has original wood floors that squeak loudly in spots, but the comfort and top quality amenities made up for it!! Would definitely stay again!

Mother Daughter Trip

I loved this property! It meet all my needs and was very comfortable. The only disappointing aspect was the water pressure in the shower. Otherwise everything was great.

Cozy Cottage

We loved this little house! It was so cute, very clean, and exactly what we were needing for annual wine tasting trip to Walla Walla. The yard was gorgeous! We loved sitting on the back patio in the mornings, enjoying our coffee and visiting with old friends. There was some late night activity (which turned out to be teenagers messing around the neighborhood). Our neighbor was very friendly and assured us that this was a very safe and family friendly neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!

Summer Stay

Amazing backyard and patio area where we spent most of our time. House is quite small and VERY creaky - not ideal for a family with a toddler. Beds also very creaky. Would be better for adults only. Some ants throughout the house. Overall enjoyed our stay but with some minor downsides.

Great location to explore Walla Walla

We enjoyed our time here. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. We brought our bikes along and the location was very convenient for exploring the area on two wheels. The yard was one of the loveliest we have seen for a vacation rental!

Walla Walla weekend

We stayed for a holiday weekend at Syvila’s Cottage. We loved how quiet the neighborhood was. The house is perfect for two couples. Close to many wineries and downtown.

Fantastic Outside Spaces

House is well-appointed with plush towels, dishes and cookware that made it easy to entertain, and had basic cooking supplies you don’t often find (e.g., spices, oil) at rental properties. The real gem is the spacious - and beautiful - yard. Also a pleasant surprise was the list of local chefs, grocery delivery, wine tours & providers of in-home spa services emailed to us ahead of time. Wish everyone did this!

Perfect retreat

This house was perfect for myself & 3 girlfriends. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Super cute, comfortable little house with lots of charm. The backyard is a hidden treasure. Large & full of flowers everywhere! We had our Mothers Day brunch on the patio & then a BBQ dinner that night, again outside on the lovely deck. Would stay here again in a heartbeat ♥️♥️♥️

Great house for 1-2 couples

This is a great property to stay at if you want a laid back quiet location that is close to all the wineries and downtown. Overall was pleased with the house and amenities. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment (some of the non stick pans are at the end of their lives). Bottle of wine that came with the place was a nice touch as well.

Beautiful 2BD House in Heart of Walla Walla!

We really enjoyed our stay as a family in Sylvie's Cottage. It was very clean and nicely designed. The garden was definitely a highlight as was being so conveniently located near everything. The 2BD was spacious enough for our 4 person family and we enjoyed the decor, layout and functionality of the house. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and the garden a great treat for the kids and to just relax. We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity to come back out to Walla Walla!
