The property was just what I needed. I was able to watch the water all day from the comfort of the house since it was a bit too chilly to always be outside. There property fit just what we needed for me, my mom, and pup. We all enjoyed just being able to enjoy the peace and relaxation. It was just what we needed to recharge.
Beautiful home right on the lake. Beautiful beach, lots of shells to collect. Loved the full kitchen, sun room, watching the sunrises and all the birds. Close to major cities, Midland, Frankenmuth, Bay City lots to do.
Bay City State Park great walking trails, just a couple miles from the home..
Would definitely stay at this home again.
The house on the beach was just what we needed. There were six beds so we each had our own bed and the beds were comfy. The weather was perfect for kayaking and sitting on the beach, which was unusual for later September. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the kitchen was well equipped.
You can tell it’s a family summer home and well loved. It’s a bit dated but the cost was very reasonable. The house had everything that u needed. We had a great time. Definitely recommend!
We had a fantastic stay at this property! We initially chose this place because it was dog-friendly and located right on the beach. With 3 kids, including an infant, it was important for us to be able to keep an eye on the older kids while the baby napped, and the layout of the house allowed us to do just that. The house is very spacious! While it could benefit from a deep clean, and the A/C doesn't reach the top floor very well, these were minor issues. The top bedroom facing the water provided a wonderful breeze and the soothing sound of the waves for sleeping! Lots of ceiling fans throughout the house which was very nice & in all bedrooms. We enjoyed daily walks along the beach and watching the sunrises. Our kids had a great time playing in the sand, and our dogs loved swimming and hanging out with us. There were lots of games to play and plenty of seating around. The only thing we wished for was an outdoor picnic table or patio set to eat outside. The owners were very responsive with questions prior to and during our stay. We will definitely be back!
The home was very comfy. The view was phenomenal. The host was amazing. I would have brought some beach chairs had we had known there were none, but there were plenty of beach towels provided. We were in town for a very stressful event and the host allowed us to extend our stay one extra day (It was exactly what we needed). Just a beautiful "Up North / Lake Huron" getaway / disconnect.

Beautiful location but….
Beautiful out-of-the-way location right on the beach, on a dead end street. There are lots of dishes, silverware, blankets, along with plenty of basic cooking ingredients. Pots and pans need to be replaced.
The property has large, spacious rooms with a wonderful sunroom, for viewing the beautiful morning sunrise over the water.
The place needs to be cleaned, deep cleaning as in carpets, blinds, cobwebs and weekly cleaning i.e. refrigerator and microwave. Also very strong cat odor.
Beautiful home just as pictured felt very homey and comfortable to stay, quite area with the sound of the water and birds. Kids had a blast and we just relaxed and forgot everything. Best time amd loved it here will definitely come back.
Owners are very flexible, not invasive. House was awesome right on beach as was promised. Very nice place to stay a d will most definitely stay there again. Did miss the heat stove working for some romantic evenings, but still enjoyed our time.
This property was as described and worked extremely well for our party of 4. Lake Huron is right outside the back deck. This is NOT a fancy place but very functional.
This was an awesome house to stay at for the week. The beach out of the back door was wonderful for the kids to play in. The bedrooms were spacious, as were the living areas. The beach side porch was very nice for sitting and watching the sunrise. It’s also only 10 minutes from Linwood for going fishing.
It was a very nice stay!!
We had an amazing time at this lovely lakefront vacation home. Everything was as listed in the advertisement. There was plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the lake and beach. We visited nearby Bay City as well as Frankenmuth which were fun. Property owners responded promptly to any questions or inquiries we made. We really enjoyed our stay and will likely return in the future.
We enjoyed our time with our adult children as we swam in the lake, played games, and enjoyed good food. The cottage had some issues - air conditioner broke the day before we got there and it was a very hot week. It did end up getting fixed halfway through the week but the first few days were miserably hot. A ceiling fan blade came off the fan in the middle of the night where our son was sleeping, thankfully he wasn’t hurt. Other things are in need of repair/replacing, but you can see where they have updated some things. It’s in a good location with your own little private beach but it is very buggy due to being located across from a marsh preserve. We couldn’t be outside in the evening. The owners were great with communication and did the best they could to get someone out to fix the air conditioner. It is a spacious house and all in all we had fun.
Great place to stay. Very nice property with a great beach. Too cold in November to enjoy but it was pretty to look at. Lots of room with multiple sleeping spaces. Small negative is the beds were pretty uncomfortable, but a small price to pay for a great stay. Hope to stay again next year.

A+++ Great time on Saginaw Bay!
Came to Kawkawlin for an ice fishing trip and this house made the difference between a good trip and a great trip. It is the perfect house for a bigger group of people with plenty of room! This will not be my last time booking this VRBO.
