Relax On Barton at Port Elliot




Relax with a glass of your favourite Fleurieu Peninsula wine in your hand while gently swaying in the hammock as the sound of waves breaking of Boomer Beach drift over.


Relax on Barton is a 2 minute walk to Boomer Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in S.A., stretching from Freeman's Nob at Port Elliot right around to Victor Harbor. You can surf, swim, boogie board or just walk on the soft sands. Victor Harbor and the beautiful McCracken Golf Club is only 5 minutes drive away. Middleton is approx 10 minutes away and Goolwa is a 15 minutes drive.

Wonderful walking and bike riding trails. Go for a drive and taste the local wines, beers, cheeses etc and visit the markets on the weekends. Have a game of bowls at the Port Elliot Bowling Club and enjoy the view from the greens, or have a ride on the cockle train.

The house is on one level , easy access and a genuine feeling of spaciousness.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed, a parents retreat with a table and chairs, so you can sit and enjoy the view of the hills. Also a TV, DVD. ensuite and walk in robe.
The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, wardrobe and dresser.
The 3rd bedroom has 2 single ensemble beds and wardrobe.
The children's lounge room has a sofa , TV and DVD, board games, magazines and books.
The kitchen is fully equipped, has many electrical appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave. wall oven, hot plates and fridge/freezer.
The family room has a lounge with recliner chairs, 50" flat screen TV, DVD & inputs for USB.
There is also a separate lounge room where you can relax and enjoy the view.
Main bathroom has a shower and a bath.
Highchair, porta cot, play pen and baby bath available.
Reverse cycle air conditioner, and ceiling fans.
Washing and ironing facilities.
Timber outdoor setting, flat BBQ and a Weber Q, all under an enclosed pergola.
2 car garage with electric roller doors, direct access into the house.
Quality rain water available.
Secure back yard.

We had a wonderful 4 days at Leonie's house. The table tennis and billiards were fun for all the family. The view of the hills from the windows is very pleasant, and the location is extremely quiet.

What a wonderful retreat for our two families to escape to!! This property has something for everyone from the pool table and table tennis table to the hammock and lovely outdoor area to lounge around in. Fantastic location with an easy walk along the headland to Port Elliot. We had a great holiday with plenty of space for 8 guests to congregate together and to have space to themselves! Hopefully we'll be back.

Perfect home away from home, they thought of everything!
This place is simply fantastic, its a beautiful house, meticulously clean and clearly been looked after very well. You really feel at home. The facilities are great, really the photos dont do this place enough justice and the owners were great to deal with too, they had thought of everything and everything just worked, even the linen was great (sheriden), bed was comfy also. 2 minute walk to the beach with great views. I will definately be coming back, thanks Leonie & Mark.

Amazing!
Relax on Barton is truly a home away from home. It offers everything you need for the most comfortable, relaxing stay. Arriving at the house, we were blown away by the size and how well appointed it is.. they've thought of everything. The outside entertaining area is lovely and the 'Games shed' as my children affectionately called it, provided our family with hours of fun and a lot of laughs. The house is perfect rain, hail or shine with rollershutters and all weather pergola. Leonie is wonderful.. friendly, helpful and only a phone call away if you need something! I can't recommend Relax on Barton enough, it is beautiful, so well cared for and fantastic as a holiday retreat.. we hope to be back for years to come!!

The house was very clean and well appointed, convenient location, quiet neighbourhood, short walk to the beach and a gentle walk into Port Elliot. Very comfortable to relax in with a comfortable bed and main lounge. Made good use of the pool table. The host was very good to liaise with.

Beautiful Port Elliot Getaway
This magnificent family home was perfect for our Easter getaway. A short walk to the beach, Main Street and bike rides was perfect for family outings. The home was filled with many indoor activities such as pool and table tennis that we never had the question what are we going to do today but instead, how many activities can we fit in the day! Leonie was a delight to deal with and always easy to communicate with.

Fantastic holiday house
This place was perfect for us and we're already thinking about when we can come back! The layout of the home was perfect - the front room is far from the rooms at the back of the house - handy for us with a toddler when we didn't want him to wake the other guests up early! There are so many living areas and the house has everything you could need and more. Loved the pool table and table tennis table too. Great location and oh so spacious. Definitely relaxing. Highly recommend.

Fantastic family holiday home!
In a great location, just a short walk to Boomer Beach. This house is so spacious, there are multiple living areas, a huge kitchen with everything you could possibly want/need - and it is super clean!! Our family also loved the pool table and table tennis table, BBQ and undercover entertaining area. The views of the rolling hills are just divine from the front of the home, and the sound of the waves on the beach nearby is so relaxing at night. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

This large, well kept and fully equipped home allows parents and children space to relax, unwind and be entertained all at the same time. The house has an abundance of trimmings including good quality and quantity of kitchen supplies, multiple options for quiet time and a shed perfect to entertain teens. The beach is only a street away and the tracks provide easy access to local shops and cafes. This place is perfect for those who appreciate a home away from home.

Holiday At Port Elliot
Great place to stay. Quiet and plenty of household appliances. Easy drive to anywhere on the coast. Good access to bike/walking trail. Close to Aquatic Centre which was a good admission price. Will go again and stay here.

We have the best of both worlds. A wonderful view of the hills, which gives a real feel of spaciousness and only a 2 minute walk to Boomer Beach which is great for surfing or going for a walk.
