This vacation rental features, 3 bedrooms & 2 ½ baths. The main level has ½ bath, a cozy living room area w/queen size sleep sofa, dining area that seats 6, modern kitchen w/granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher and outdoor patio.
The Upper level has master bedroom w/queen size bed and en suite, 2nd and 3rd bedrooms w/full size beds and full bath. The upper level also has washer & dryer. Within walking distance to Shaw/Howard U Metro Rail 10min, Convention center 10min, Downtown attractions, including the White House and Monuments, Skateboard Park and Whole Foods and Restaurants in every direction! This vacation rental sleeps 8. After a day of taking in the sites, working or family gatherings, winding down in this lovely vacation rental is the place to be.
There is only street parking, we can make arrangements to provide guest with a visitors parking pass for your stay. If you have more than one car we can provide you with an additional pass for $25.

Great location

After we finally figured out the metro this house was a good location. Easy to get to the grocery store and the metro. The house its self had exactly what we needed and more. Bathroom essentials, kitchen essentials and a great table for our 6 people to eat and play a lot of Yahtzee!

Awesome little townhome

My family and I were here for a conference at the conference center nearby. This house was perfect for what we needed. It was an easy walk to the conference center and the metro. There is lots of good food nearby and the neighborhood felt safe and easily walkable. The house itself was nice and cozy, although some things were not perfectly clean. Would stay here again.

Great host- great house

We were in DC for a road race and conference at the convention center. House was clean and just like the pictures. Kitchen was well equipped and beds all comfy. The.host was very accommodating too.

Convenient Stay in DC

We were 7 (4 adults and 3 children) and the accommodation met our needs. The place is clean, nicely decorated, and very conveniently located to the metro and busses. We would stay here again!

Convenient location for seeing DC sites!

We had a lovely four nights stay at this property. It is located in a great neighborhood and served well by local transportation. The house was cozy, charming and very well stocked! Our host even provided us with bottled water and snacks which together with a vast array of toiletries ensured that had we forgotten to pack anything we would be well covered! On the downside though the rear facing bedrooms were very quiet the bedroom to the front was not. On our first night we were kept awake by sirens and other city sounds and spent the remainder of our vacation sleeping with ear plugs.

Family Wedding

We stayed in DC for a family wedding. The space was terrific, just as pictured with even more amenities than we needed. We were a little worried about parking, but it was very easy. Great location for walking to eateries or using Metro and Uber. Jonathan was very helpful and very quick to respond to any needs. Highly recommend

One of the best rentals !

We really really really enjoyed staying at this property. The week we visited there was a heat wave in Washington DC but we were nice and cool. AC worked great. We also had a 22-month-old, and they provided us with a full-size folding crib and a highchair. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need and more ( case of bottled water!). We were a little bit worried about the parking situation but there was plenty of parking on the street and they had a temporary parking permit waiting for us when we checked in. The property truly was convenient to all the sights we wanted to visit. We have rented many VRBOs in the past and this property and owner was one of the best!

A lovely short vacation

We were a group of five, all over 50, wanted to go see a few museums and walk around the city. It was our first time choosing a house rather than a hotel, and it was a very good choice. Everything went very well.The house is lovely, comfortable, sunny, clean, and has anything you may need and more. The area is friendly, with a Whole Foods only 10 minutes away, nice restaurants and beautiful historical houses. We are actually hoping to return.

Great location and a nice place!

Our experience at this property was polarized. We really enjoyed the location and space itself. It was an easy walk to the amenities of Logan Circle, and it was accessible to Capitol Hill. The house was very comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The only issue we had was with the heating. There is one heating system for the upstairs and downstairs. This meant that it was very warm upstairs, but still cool downstairs. Turning down the thermostat at night was a reasonable solution to this. The downside to this property was the experience we had with the property manager. We booked this property as opposed to other options in part because there were parking passes for two cars advertised. When we got into the house (which was slightly difficult because we had been given the wrong door code), we saw only one parking pass. We called the property manager and he told us very matter-of-fact that the other one had been taken so we only had access to one. He said we could either "take our chances" and park on the street without one, or we could pay to have our car in the nearby parking garage. We asked whether they would pay for the car to be in the lot and he said they did not pay for parking. A little bit later we noticed signs in the house referring to a garage key. So, we called the manager back to ask about whether there was a garage we could use and he said in a condescending manner, I told you, there's only street parking, those signs are generic for other properties. He showed up later that night saying that he found out he could get us a temporary parking pass from the police station which was great. He was able to do that for us which we appreciated. The next day, we noticed that the one parking pass we were given was expired. The manager told us that was fine and they were still valid until replacements came in, so we used it. We ended up getting two parking tickets because of the expired pass. The owner did pay for the ticket, but the manager became difficult to get a hold of after we left, and he never responded to my requests for a receipt. Overall, we would recommend this property, but maybe only if you don't have a car.

Nice location to metro and quiet neighborhood. Owner was great with communication back and forth. We appreciated the extra amenities that came with the home as we had forgot a few items.

Great location, easy to do business, pretty building with lots of character, comfortable, kitchen was stocked with water and snacks. Could use a little attention with minor details - light bulbs out, backyard was overgrown and shower head was not working well.

Great space for a family!

We stayed in this apartment for four days to attend a family wedding. All of the occupants were adults (ages 23-83). The apartment is in an excellent location in a quiet neighborhood. There is plenty of room to spread out if you are staying with family or friends. The wifi had excellent coverage throughout the property and the beds were comfortable. There are plenty of linens and the kitchen is stocked for whatever you need to cook. Communication with the host was easy and acessesing the property was straightforward. I left a star off for cleanliness becasue it is fairly obvious that people/renters just leave things and the cleaning crew just shuffles them around. There was a tie left in one closet, a garment bag crumpled on the floor in another, and TONS of soaps, lotions and toiletries all over the bathrooms. I actually had to move them off of surfaces to make room for my own things while staying there. Overall a great stay!

Beautiful Shaw Residence

This place is perfect for walkability to many places in the city. The Shaw neighborhood is full of incredible restaurants and bars and I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful home.

Conference in DC

This property was just perfect for attending a professional conference at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. It’s location was a short and pretty walk to the conference each day. The neighborhood was so cute and there was easy access to a coffee shop, grocery store, sushi restaurant, and beer garden. The house was well maintained and easily slept 5 adults. I would highly recommend this property!

The location of this home is absolutely perfect! After busy days seeing the sights in DC, we were able to come back to this home....freshen up & then walk to the MANY fabulous restaurants in the neighborhood. The house is exactly as it appears in the pics - clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all of the amenities of home (coffee maker(!!), toaster, washer/dryer, comfortable beds & pillows, fans, dishwasher, wifi, 2 full baths and 1/2 bath, flat screen tv, lots of natural light, a clean fridge, etc.). We got a street parking pass from the property owner & were able to find a place to park every time we left and returned. The property owner, John was incredibly responsive, kind, and thorough with the instructions - which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend John & this property. I'm so grateful to have found this gem - and since there is SO much to see and do in DC, I will definitely look to rent this home again.

The property was as pictured and described.. Everything was clean and we were protected from Covid.

The rental process was easy. Jonathan helped me resolve a problem before I arrived. He was kind, responsive and helpful. Jonathan was accessible throughout our stay and always responded quickly to my calls and texts. The house had a cache of hand sanitizer, wipes, masks and personal hygiene supplies.

Clean and comfortable

The Logan circle property was perfect for our family's visit to DC. We were able to walk or bus everywhere with ease including grocery stores. The condo was immaculate and stocked well. Jonathan was the perfect host as he responded quickly to any question. We will certainly tell our friends and family. Any return to DC, we will be staying here.

Beautiful Home

Excellent communication. Home is beautiful. Everything we needed for our stay. Bonus were all the fans in the home. I run hot (air co diction if works well; but also need a fan) and love to sleep with fan noise, so that was definitely a plus.
