About this property

A friendly bear stands guard and welcomes your bunch to Grizzly any season of the year. A lovely cottage, it is ideal for smaller families. Located very near the beach and other lakeside venues, this home has 360 sq. ft. each of covered porch and raised open deck. Also outside are an 8 person hot tub, 7 ft. picnic table, and Weber grill. Inside, find a pool table, WiFi, and air conditioning throughout. Tell stories by the window-flanked fireplace or read to your little one in the loft. This property is DOG FRIENDLY.
PLEASE NOTE: NO PROM or GRAD Groups, even with adult signature or chaperones.

Pet Policy:
Renter is permitted up to 2 dogs, any size. Dog (s) must be disclosed up front at the time of inquiry/booking. Dog (s) must be housebroken and must be friendly with other dogs and people. A non-refundable fee of $200 per dog will be due at the time of booking. If we receive complaints of barking/disturbance Pocono Mountain Rentals reserves the right to ask you to remove the dog (s) immediately. Undeclared dogs will be charged $500 and you will be required to vacate the property. Dog (s) MUST be confined to the rental property or on a leash. Dog handlers MUST clean up after their dog (s) on and off the rental property. Guests will be responsible for all damage caused by the pet. Damages caused by the pet will not be included in the damage waiver agreement. Please contact our office immediately after becoming aware of any damage caused by the pet. The pet owner takes full responsibility of all damages and/or injuries to others caused by the pet. By booking this property you are agreeing to the terms and fees associated with bringing an approved dog. We closely monitor all of our properties.

The neighbor was drilling a well the entire first day of our stay, and the noise was so ridiculous, that it was still aggravating inside the house. The front porch was unswept and dirty, as was the picnic table. Of the five deck chairs, only three had cushions. The hot tub lining looked discolored, making it look like algae. The upstairs remained uncomfortably hot our entire stay, despite setting the AC as low as possible. That, in turn, made the downstairs almost too cold. The kitchen and dining area were very cramped for a rental listed as accommodating eleven people. The mattress on one of the queen beds was worn and uncomfortable. We had an okay vacation; the house just didn’t meet our expectations.

Enjoyable weekend away!

Very enjoyable experience. The house had everything we needed. Lots of space, couches, beds w/linens, grill, kitchen stocked with cooking gear, a big kitchen table to gather around, a nice hot tub, pool table, wash/drier. plenty of parking could have fit 10 cars easy, quiet area in the wooded neighborhood. Only very minor downside was the amount of leaves on the decks were a little slippery when wet and the grill wasn't the greatest so cooking took a little longer. Those were very minor and expected for a cold and wet fall weekend. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Issues Dislike later 4 PM check-in time; Refrigerator door shelves and storage bins broken and reduced efficiency of refrigerator; Second floor patio door screen missing ; Door lock unit needed batteries - failed to operate and left us outside; leak in air conditioning unit second floor room off kitchen; Blake from second floor toilet - plumber did check it out; One of the pool cue tips was broken. Weather was great

MGMT Company is EXCELLENT!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pocono Vacation Rentals is your only choice for vacation rentals in the Pocono Mountains. Here is why: We initially rented a property in Lake Harmony on AirBNB not through Pocono Vacation Rentals. This proved to be a total disaster. The property infested with mice, the mattresses were at least 40 years old, we were told to bring our own propane, the property had no dishwasher and was completely mismanaged. (The property had a 4 5 star reviews, must have been written by the owner himself). Long story short, Pocono Vacation Rentals and team set us up with a clean, neat and well managed property. THEY DID THIS ALL IN ABOUT 2hrs! Further, this company was so diligent that when on Christmas Eve the fire alarm was beeping in the kids room. Team Members from the company arrived around 7pm and took care of the issues. Even though, we said we could live with it, given that its Christmas Eve. I can't not say enough good things about their work ethic and desire to please the customer. We have an amazing rental experience!
