About this property

Pinecroft is beautifully located for you to take advantage of all of the attractions of the historic seaside village of Port Elliot. Set on a quiet street, the house is a beautiful blend of the old and new. Four spacious bedrooms, the master with full ensuite, occupy the original 1920s bungalow. The new rear extension provides open plan living/dining and fully self contained kitchen, with dishwasher & microwave. The main living area has a comfortable leather lounge suite and large flat screen TV, DVD/Blu-Ray player and R/C air conditioning. There is also a second living area, with Playstation, DVD, flat-screen TV, stereo sound system and sofa bed. The new new second bathroom/laundry has a shower, toilet and washer/dryer. Outside, a BBQ and outdoor setting are housed in a tranquil, established garden setting under the large back veranda. There is a single garage for use, off street parking and all linen is provided. In all, a perfect place for one or two or families, or to have friends come and visit.

Out and about

Pinecroft allows you to relax and unwind. Everything is within easy reach. Take a 200 metre walk to beautiful Horseshoe Bay or stretch out a bit more and follow the spectacular walk around the rocky headlands to Green Bay and Boomer Beach. Bring your bikes and follow the popular Encounter Bikeway to Goolwa or Victor Harbor. A stroll to the village centre takes in restaurants, coffee shops, the famous Port Elliot bakery and the historic Streamranger Heritage Railway. Shopping in the town centre ranges from the quirky to upmarket, with the old bookshops and boutique fashion particular highlights.

Better than it looks online.

This is an excellent property that is much better than it looks online. Especially the size-as it is much more spacious than we expected and the back courtyard and garden area was superb. I only rated it 4 stars for accuracy online because it is actually better than it looks. Position was ideal , metres to Horseshoe Bay and The Strand. Communication from owner was terrific. Would go back easily.

Lovely property close to the beach

Lovely property within easy walking distance of the beach. There is plenty of living space & all the amenities you need - particularly in the kitchen. Hosts are friendly, helpful and easily contactable. We enjoyed the beautiful, well-kept cottage gardens. Thanks for having us - will visit again!

Lovely house in a great location.

The house was large, comfortable and well-equipped. The garden was beautiful and attracted the birds. We could walk to nearby shops and cafes and out for an evening meal. The station for the Cockle Train was also within walking-distance. Port Elliot is also a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. There was more than enough to see and do during our week there. We loved it!

Beautiful home and perfect location

Chris was great to deal with. The house is perfectly situated between the Cockle train station and horseshoe Bay, and only a short walk to cafes. The house is neat, modern and easy to live in. We look forward to staying again!

A very nice old single storey house with roomy new extension containing kitchen and living area, centrally located in Port Elliot (between main road and beach). We have stayed there several times and always enjoyed it. A very good selection of books on the book shelf too

Fantastic holiday home

This is a gorgeous, clean and spacious property in walking distance to the beach, excellent cafes and shops. Lots of great areas inside and outside the home to sit and relax. Communicating with the owners was easy. Everything that could be needed was included. Will definitely stay again and will recommend the property to others.

What a gem!

This is one of the best places we’ve stayed at. The house was very comfy and clean. Plenty of space, well equiped kitchen and great little outdoor area. The BBQ is awesome too. In terms of location, it’s perfect and everything is within a short walk. We will certainly be requesting to stay there again!

Most enjoyable stay at Pinecroft

My wife, two friends and I spend three nights at Pinecroft from 19 to 21 March 2021. My wife and I have stayed there before, in Sep 2019, and found the place as good as we had expected., But this was the first time for our friends, and they were most impressed with the house, its location, all the tastefully appointed fittings and the amenities. The weather was perfect to boot. We wish we could have stayed longer! Our host was very hopeful and prompt with communications.
