vrKCV - Kona Reef A6, Professionally Managed by Kona Coast Vacations

This beautifully furnished 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit has been completely renovated. Situated on the ground floor, it leads to easy access to the property grounds and the ocean. Relax on the spacious lanai while taking in the sights of the great Pacific Ocean. The tropical décor is comfortable and well presented. Tile through out, granite counters in the kitchen, beautiful tiled walk-in shower, and 2 flat screen TV's - one in the living area and the other in the bedroom. There is a Queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living area for additional sleeping up to 4 guests. Please note, the mattress is on a beautiful platform bed frame that is on the taller side.

This unit has air conditioning in the living area as well as in the bedroom. The kitchen great appliances and a washer/dryer.

Kona Reef condominiums are comprised of 130 units in 6 separate buildings. For your convenience, there is an elevator in the complex, however there are stairs involved to get to the unit after using the elevator. Honl's beach is adjacent to Kona Reef with its brilliant white sand and sunbathing. Strong swimmers in calmer sea conditions, often snorkel in the ocean a few steps from the condo to see some of the most colorful fish you will ever see. The complex offers an oceanfront pool with tiled decks, hot tub(spa), BBQ area with grills, plus shower/toilets near pool. Free open parking covered and other uncovered, on the property is available. Conveniently located within walking distance (less than half a mile) to Kona Town that offers shopping, restaurants/bars, activity booths, and Aloha along the way. One mile to the Ironman start and finish.

Minimum night varies seasonally 4 -10 nights. Property is non-ADA compliant, non-smoking, and no pets are allowed.

Perfection in Paradise

I can't think of anything about this vacation rental that could have made it better - perfect location (on the beach and within walking distance to Kona Village) perfect size, beautifully decorated, lovely hot tub and pool and very friendly people. I'm sure it's the best vacation rental we've ever had.

A Great Spot

We’ve been to the Kona Reef four times. It’s our preferred accommodation for the location, amenities and atmosphere. A6 was the loveliest appointed of the three apartments at which we’ve stayed in Kona Reef. The appliances were all new or in perfect working order and there is AC in the bedroom as well are the living areas. We would definitely return. The only thing we would add is a lighted makeup mirror as the lighting in the bathroom is not the best for that sort of thing. But after a couple of days in the sun who needs makeup? Aloha.

Awesome location!

We loved Kona Reef. The unit is oceanfront, ground floor. We loved waking up, drinking coffee, sitting out on the lanai, and watching the waves, boats and friendly people pass by. We walked to town often to grab breakfast, dinner or other items we needed. There was no cooking on this trip with so many good restaurants close by. The location was perfect. The unit had everything we needed. We did purchase our own pool towels and then found the ones in the unit on the 3rd day. We will return to Kona Reef!

Wonderfully relaxing

Kona Coast A6 is perfect for a getaway. The listing represents accuracy. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need (except food). Comfy bed. We enjoyed watching surfers and sunsets from the comfort of our lanai. Location is walkable from Kailua- Kona town with restaurants and shops.

Big Island Vacation

The condo was cozy and comfortable. Enjoyed the view of the ocean from our lani. The pool area was very clean and plenty of room for everyone. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and the air conditioning refreshing. We used the snorkel sets which were perfect for us. The kitchen area was small but had plenty if dishes, utensils and food preparation tools for a vacation stay. A few things that would have been nice to have provided were a few more seasonings beyond salt and pepper, a small cooler for drinks and snack for thevpool or beach. The pull out bed needs a better mattress and a washable mattress pad. The mattress was very uncomfortable for our not so particular 11 year old. The mattress was covered with hair, dust and dry skin from multiple uses. We had to vacuum it off and hope for the best. We enjoyed staying in this unit which became our home away from home for a week.

numerous problems. major problem was wife who just had knees replaced could not get in and out of very tall bed without stool making it dangerous for her. Property managers did not address any of our concerns.

Very well decorated. Actually too decorated LOL. Some items might be too nice for the rental. Well equipment. Nice step out patio. Fantastic view. A few minor things but they are kind of thing an owner wouldn't know about if they have not stay there. Ceiling fan noise, etc. A grade.

Great vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in A6 of the Kona Reef Resort. It was exactly how the pictures showed. There were games to play, beach accessories to use, and it was very clean. Great location as well. Thanks for a great trip for our first time to Kona.

This was a nice unit in an older complex. The ocean front view was great and the pool was very relaxing. Our friends have a timeshare at the Billfisher across the street so the location was perfect. We do hope the city does something to revitalize the town. It needs some work!! But overall a nice trip!

Well appointed and updated unit with spectacular ocean view.

Nicely updated unit very comfortable for 2 people. Terrific ocean and sunset views from the lanai. The title floors were quite dirty and required us to sweep and mop when we checked in. The beach chairs provided are in need of replacing as they are worn out.

Great location and awesome lanai

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The Lanai is perfect and our 11 year old enjoyed spending hours in the tide pools right out front of the property. Pool and hot tub were clean and comfortable and covered parking was a bonus since we had a downpour for the first two days. Would highly recommend for families or couples!!

Beautiful place, slow customer service

This is a beautiful condo, with a fantastic view. I could watch my Husband surf out front while I poured coffee in the kitchen. Neat to hear the conch blowing in the evening. Close to town, we walked to the Christmas parade. My only complaint is that the TVs did not work for the first 2.5 days. We called and they said they would fix it that day. They did not. We called the next day again. They finally came and fixed it, but we were bummed we had to spend vacation time on several phone calls to get it fixed. Otherwise, this place is great.

That View!!

We got to the condo in the late evening and were greeted with that beautiful view from the lanai and the sound of the waves crashing into the rocks. Such a great introduction to Kona. You can watch the turtles and surfers right from the lanai. The condo itself is nice and had everything we needed. There were camping chairs, beach towels and a beach mat. There were no beach chairs, umbrella or boogie boards so make sure to grab some at Costco if needed. The pool and hot tub were nice and there were lots of bbqs available. It is a 15 minute walk to town and dinning options which was nice. There is a small beach right next door but the waves and rocks make it not a swimming beach. There are a number of beaches around the area that you can drive to. Our trip highlights were snorkeling at Two Step, zip lining and the night Manta Ray swim! Overall great experience and would stay again.
