Uniquely situated in the heart of Normanville our Footsteps Cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway, or as a base from which to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Fridays and Saturdays $190 pn.
Sunday-Thurs $150 per night (min 2 nights)

Description of footsteps cottage

Footsteps Cottage offers two spacious relaxing bedrooms, featuring comfortable queen sized beds and reading lamps. The spacious open living room displays polished native stringy bark wooden flooring and an alluring chaise lounge.

With a smart 65 cm television, surround sound and individual controlled reverse cycle air conditioning, comfort is easy to find. Other facilities include fully equipped kitchen and laundry, DVD/CD/USB player, BBQ and outside undercover entertaining area. Infant facilities available. Off street parking for car or boat. Pets welcome in secure yard by arrangement with owners. Nespresso Coffee Pod Machine just purchased.

To the rear of Footsteps Cottage is a 6m x 6m garage that has been transformed into a well appointed, fully lined, kids retreat, four bunk beds, television featuring full wifi, air conditioning, table tennis and more, to hold the ingredients for great family holidays with personal space guaranteed.

The property is as per advertised. Good location to town. Bery comfortable inside and althoughnot used the games room at rear of house great for all especially kids accomodation. Great for dogs as well.

Relaxing little getaway
We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the beautiful deck and the house had all we needed. Especially loved the kids retreat with the ping pong table was a highlight for our children. Great secure yeard for pets also.Close to town but needed to drive to the beach with younger children. Would definitely return.

I've stayed here quite a few times now.
I have stayed here a few times. There's a good reason for this. The house has everything we need, is clean, close to the main street and is very comfortable. It's just the right size for my mother, myself and my two dogs. I'm sure I will be back again.

Normie short break
This is the second time we have stayed at Footsteps. We were looking for a short-stay break close to Adelaide and having stayed at Footsteps with our Westie earlier in the year thought this would be the perfect place. We enjoy the house with the great decking out the front, comfy bed, perfect location and private back yard. I'm sure we'll be back again if Archie has anything to say about it!

This is now the third time I have stayed at this property and it’s fabulous! Such an excellent and central location to the Main Street, but still quiet and peaceful. The property is excellent for families with lots of space and a gorgeous deck out the front . Highly recommended!

We had the best time at the cottage. Fabulous location, well equipped with all you need. Teenagers retreat is fabulous, bonus that we could bring our little Welsh Terrier too. Maggie had a ball. A lovely property right in the heart of town. We’ve stayed before and loved the new extended front verandah and seating. The mattress in the rear queen bedroom was extremely firm and uncomfortable unfortunately. Apart from that the kitchen is well equipped and the house was very clean.

Amazing location and great for dogs.
This is not my first stay at this property so that should tell you how much I like it here. The location is very convenient, right off the main street of Normanville. The house is well appointed and recent renovations have been a great improvement. The new gates on both sides of the property mean that access to the back yard is restricted, thus safer for dogs and kids. The front deck is really nice to sit on and watch people go past. The beds are comfortable, which is really important to me. The house has pretty much everything I could need. There are only a few tiny tweaks I would make to make it perfect, but that's more a preference thing. For example, I would love a dog door in the back door for the dogs, and maybe a different shower head to make it easier to enter the shower so water doesn't escape. (little things!) i will definitely be going back soon.
