The luxury accomodation at The Otway Haven is peaceful, quiet and private, set in gorgeous gardens, and surrounded by rainforest and farm paddocks. Guests are delighted with the serenity, tranquility, the fresh air and the birdlife and wildlife.

Boutique in design yet rich in detail and amenity, the light-filled interior is introduced by a secure entrance into a lovely living and dining area nestled beneath a vaulted ceiling. Warm up by the sleek wood-heater, the heart of this thoughtfully crafted cottage, ideal for chilly nights.

Both bedrooms have luxury queen beds with electric blankets, four pillows, doonas, quilts and spare blankets, and copious storage and clothes hanging space. One bedroom has a smart TV with satellite access to hundreds of television and radio channels, and free access to streaming services such as Netflix, Apple TV and Prime Video. There's also a porta cot and a child's secure dining chair.

The living area has seating for two and dining for two and hence the place is best suited for a couple, or a couple with younger children; a warming log fireplace with free unlimited firewood and firestarters provided. There are board games, a small library, binoculars for birdwatching and an umbrella.

The bathroom has a shower and hip bath, along with waffle shawl robes, Egyptian cotton bath towels, soaps and shampoos, and a hair dryer.

The kitchen comes with complimentary provisions such as cereals, oats, fresh milk and jams, teas, Nespresso coffee pods, oils, mustards and so on.

Just bring your own food, and we’ll provide the rest:

There's also undercover carparking and bicycle storage available if you wish, an outdoor Weber BBQ with full LPG tank and all BBQ accessories, a petanque set, and a variety of bicycles to borrow for both adults and children.

One minute to the Great Otways National Park.
15 minutes to Skenes Creek, the Great Ocean Road and local beaches.
15 minutes to waterfalls and walking and hiking paths.
20 minutes to Apollo Bay and Forrest.
60 minutes to Lorne.
80 minutes to the Twelve Apostles.

Please note that while we are super pet-friendly, we do need you to discuss with us any pets you plan to bring before you book as we have sheep and alpacas in neighbouring paddocks. If you bring a pet, even if your booking states you are, but have not discussed it with us before booking, we may not be able to let your pet stay. Pets are welcome to be off leash if you wish, and we provide a guide to dog-friendly activities in the region.
