Only 800 metres from the hustle and bustle of the Margaret River restaurant and shopping strip, The K Shed is situated within a natural bushland setting. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere as you relax on the deck surrounded by karri and peppermint trees. This modern 3 bedroom chalet is fully equipped for a comfortable break. The K Shed is 250m from the Margaret River Weir and popular cycling and walking trails. Margaret River is famous for its wineries, surf and swimming beaches, caves, local craft and artwork along with gourmet food. Located within the Arcadia Chalet Complex on Wilmott Avenue, which is a pick up point for winery tours.

Set Up

The K Shed has three large bedrooms - 2 with queen size beds (downstairs )and one with two single beds upstairs. It has a combined bathroom/laundry and separate toilet. A large dining area opens up on to a deck with an electric BBQ overlooking natural bushland (perfect for a relaxing meal and a few quiet drinks). Upstairs is a large living area with TV, stereo and comfortable lounges (just the place to relax after a busy day visiting wineries or the beaches). For your comfort each level has a reverse cycle airconditioner/heating system and bedrooms have fans installed. All linen and towels are supplied for your stay. Free WiFi is available for guests.

Comfortable house in great location.

Four adults stayed 3 nights. Very well stocked kitchen with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and cookware. Nice sheets and towels provided. Only used downstairs tv but another located in upstairs lounge. Beautiful view of trees through back windows and nice deck to enjoy the outdoors. Very comfortable accommodation.

Peaceful woodland retreat

A great holiday home in a super location.

A beautiful home away from home, so much thought has gone into this holiday home. From hooks to put your coats up to a little electric wood heater for ambience upstairs, in the lounge room. The tree views from the windows are beautiful especially when it’s raining outside and you’re nice and warm with the reverse cycle heating. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here and exploring the area. Thanks Lorraine😁

Great place, great location, great host

Lovely place to stay. It feels you are deep in to nature, yet you are so close to town. Lovely and quiet and the host was amazing with clear check-in instructions. Will definitely come back again!

The K-Shed a fantastic find in the heart of Margaret River

The K-Shed is set in beautiful bush surroundings in close proximity to Barretts Weir with great walks or bike rides through the forest. In close proximity to the centre of Margaret River. I hosted a friend from London for a week and we both felt we had been away on a retreat. The K-Shed provided everything we needed and more.

Fabulous stay in a wonderful location

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was terrific and we loved relaxing with a DVD in the evening after a fabulous day visiting the wineries. Would recommend to friends without hesitation.

The property was exactly what we needed. Close to the centre of town, with spacious living area and rooms. We even walked to the nearby river one day. All the necessary appliances where on hand.

We were unaware that this cottage sat amongst about 20 others. The cottage interior could do with an update including the beds. The cottage was cold, we were there at the beginning of June and it was very wet. Overall the cottage didn't feel welcoming. We did however love MR

Excellent accommodation on breathtaking location.

The house is very well equipped and very comfortable. We particularly appreciated the deck at the rear and its view. The walks by the river a very short distance away are absolutely wonderful. The house also makes an excellent base for the many great sights in the wider area. The town is also a short distance away, which we found very convenient. All in all a lovely stay which greatly enjoyed.

Tranquility and forest views.

Very relaxing 3 days in Margaret river. Best Margaret river trails just outside the back door. The chalet is close to town but away from busy road. Clean, comfortable and well presented. Gorgeous peaceful outlook from the back veranda. Highly recommended.

Nice property surrounded by trees

Nice house, well equipped, loved the knife set. It's quiet and a little away from the town center, no footpath to walk there. I really liked the house - apart from the bed in the bedroom next to the kitchen, the bed was far too soft and unusable for us. Sorry, but please get a decent firm mattress. One of the best equipped properties I have stayed in.
