The property was in a nice quiet area but there were some unexpected issues upon arrival. We came to an unplowed/unsalted walkway which made it very difficult and dangerous to climb the steps up to the main entrance. The heating on the entire bottom floor did not work which made it basically unusable, which excluded the use of the pool table and the space in general. The heating was very hit or miss in much of the house. There was also signage all over the house to not use the fireplace, despite it being an advertised amenity, which would have helped with the poor insulation. The rooms upstairs were warm and the beds were clean. Bathrooms were also clean.
We booked the house for a weekend getaway to relax and were very pleased. The house is big and the master bedroom was terrific. There are heat control zones all over the house which made for a really comfortable stay. The wood fireplace was great and made relaxing in the living room enjoyable. The kitchen is well stocked so we were able to cook easily. The host answered my questions quickly before and during our stay, so communication was great. Overall we had a wonderful time and the place is clean with terrific amenities. We would definitely stay again.
House was clean that’s more comfortable Jacuzzi tub major plus summertime stay so no need to use the fireplaces. Both were out of commission anyway pool and lake or close by paddle boats and kayaks for rent by the hour all together a great day and a lot of fun.
We really liked this house. It was very roomy and clean. We loved playing pool. The kitchen was very well supplied as we cooked often. The beds were very comfy. The rooms didn't have any drawers but did have closets. You may want to bring extra hangers. I would definately stay here again1
Mybwife and I and our 2 kids stayed here fpr 4 days over NYE, and we really liked the place. The weather kept us mostly indoors, but if we'd gone during any season other than winter, we couodve taken advantage of the closeness of several small lakes, nearby hiking, and more. The property itself is really nice, house is clean and spacious with modern amenities. Would stay here again.
The property owner was very helpful and communicated very well with us. The property is as described, very clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. The only issue we encountered was a couple of outside lights that did not work and the main steps into the house are not easy to see, especially at night. We arrived after dark and had some concerns about the steps at night. The property was relaxing and we had a very nice trip.
Thanks for a good vacation trip to eastern PA.
The property and house was as shown in the pictures. It was a beautiful setting. The house was very clean and comfortable. It heated up quickly when we arrived. We used the kitchen for breakfast, snacks, and reheating leftovers and it had everything we needed. We did wonder where the 6th dining room chair was but there were only 4 of us so it didn't matter. I would come again but might not bring my parents as they did have a little trouble with the main floor/entrance being up a set of steps and I hadn't considered that when renting. It was nice to have a ground entrance that my husband would let us in after he went up the front steps to unlock the front door. The bedrooms all had their own thermostat and ceiling fans which was great. The bedrooms with the twin beds didn't have a little night stand and none of them had a lamp, just the overhead light if you need to think about how you relax in your rooms. The pool table was fun although it could use some leveling and new cue sticks with tips. The shower head in the jacuzzi tub was great. It was really nice that Adem provides so many basics like paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, dishwashing and dish washer soap as well as some laundry detergent and dryer sheets, even though we didn't use the laundry. It's such a pain to have to bring all of that for a weekend away. We really enjoyed being able to be together in a non-hotel place for our weekend away.
Check in process simple. Adam was very responsive. Clean property. Pool table was awesome. More than enough space for 6 adults and dogs. In a community with many activities but away from other properties so you have tour privacy. Adam provides you with 6 passes for the community which is perfect! Best part you don't have to worry about bringing the garbage or doing a cleaning because Adam actually has someone clean after you most property managers charge you a cleaning fee and forces you to clean yourself. Definitely would stay here again!

Perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space and sleeping for 6 people. House was even stocked with toiletries and had kitchen supplies. Only downside was the fire ban. I wish we would have known about that before arriving. Would definitely stay again.
This was our first experience with a vrbo property. The owner was responsive to a number of emails & text questions. The neighborhood is lovely & private. It was about 2.5 miles to the beach - which was longer than we expected, but not a deal breaker. Overall, I would use this location for a get-away again.
We enjoyed seeing deer every time we left & came back. We enjoyed the pool table & the decks as well as the jacuzzi tub. There are plenty of options for things to do nearby as well as plenty of places to eat. Piggy's was a good place to eat.
My family really enjoyed out stay. The house was clean and well kept. No complaints. I did reach out to Adam for instruction on how to get the oven/fire place to work (which is a must use). After I couldn't get the door open he offered to come out and do it himself. Which was very kind of him. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the full experience. Paintball and Ski resorts close by. Thank you Adam!! We'll be back
