Angel Fire vacation home located close to Monte Verde Lake, the Angel Fire Country Club and Ski Resort! Our mountain paradise is a custom 3-bedroom, 2-bath home for up to 6 guests. High ceilings, comfortable furnishings, stone fireplace and large deck highlight the living space.

-- THE PROPERTY --

Our home is on a flat lot with easy access even when there is considerable snow. Park 2 cars under the deck to protect from sun and snow. Covered steps up to front door.

Our home has a wide open floor plan underneath cathedral ceilings. Large floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to brighten your mornings. Relax while you watch your favorite TV shows on the large flat-screen Smart TV. Your family will also be entertained with a selection of over 150 DVDs and many family board games. The home also has a strong WIFI connection through fiber optic cable to keep you connected.

The fully equipped kitchen features upper-end, stainless steel appliances, plus all the essential amenities that allow the luxury of never having to leave the house!

Two bedrooms have queen beds and 1 bedroom has a king bed. In addition, there is a futon couch that two children can use on the loft. Our home also has a washer and dryer so you can keep your vacation clothes clean.

-- THE LOCATION --

Angel Fire has many activities for all seasons! During the summer months, make sure to head to the bike park - Angel Fire summer mountain biking which is rated in the top three in the US. Also enjoy fishing, paddle boards, kayaks and small boats on Monte Verde Lake. In addition, there is horseback riding, mountain zip lining, hiking and disc golf. There is also ATV riding and river rafting which can be arranged.

Take advantage of the public Angel Fire country club, offering all of the amenities your higher-end country clubs have like a pristine 18-hole golf course, tennis, fitness center and pool, spa, fine dining, and a private wine room with storage for 1,800 bottles. The country club is open year-round at an elevation of 8,600 feet with views of Wheeler Peak - the tallest peak in New Mexico.

The winter months are just as breathtaking with day and night skiing, snowboarding, tubing, kid sledding and, of course, snow-mobile tours. Additionally, Angel Fire is just a stone's throw from two other destinations that are big tourist attractions: Red River and Taos.

Amazing home!!!

Property was beautiful!!! Pictures represent the property well. Abundant wildlife that we enjoyed watching each day! The owner of the property was very communicative and wonderful to deal with. If we find ourselves back in Angel Fire we would absolutely stay at this home again!!!!

Amazing dream vacation

This cabin was perfect for our family! We enjoyed the beautiful quiet of the neighborhood and the trails and lake. We woke up every day and used the fully stocked kitchen to cook and visit. The proximity to the town and grocery stores and shops was a few minutes. We enjoyed being minutes from Angel Fire resort and their activities. The cabin is a dream. Clean and just beautifully decorated. We made so many great memories there.

Wonderful vacation!

This was our first time in Angel Fire, and our stay was wonderful. The cabin’s location was great! It was less than 10 minutes to the resort. It has everything you need, from condiments, dish washing pods, laundry detergent, even seasoning for cooking! The owner David, was very easy to communicate with and was always there in case we had any issues. I highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful and Relaxing

We wanted a beautiful cabin home ( not condo) for our hiking vacation. Home is spacious , updated, well stocked and very clean. Quiet and beautiful small community of cabin homes. Hiker and mountain biker Haven Trails everywhere in Angel Fire. Taos is easy drive in summer. Will come back and stay here again. Highly recommend if you want beauty and quiet. Everything you need is stocked at property. Great little grocery market/gas 2-3 miles from Home. Owner very responsive and provides clear direction. Great stay.

Great Angel Fire Home

My wife and I stayed here for 8 days in July and everything was as or better than advertised. The home was clean and well kept. Dave was proactive in contacting us beforehand to ensure we had no questions before arriving. He was also very responsive during and after our stay. I look forward to staying here again.

Cool summer nights

We had a great stay at this property, it was clean, had all the kitchen utensils and items we needed for a comfortable stay. There was a fantastic trail right across the street that the family loved and the lake was great for fishing. David was easy to deal with and quick to respond.

Fun place for a family of four

We had a great couple weeks in Angel Fire. The rental was clean and filled with light. Deer ambled through the yard a few times a day and the kids built a massive snow fort in the yard. Easy access to the walk around the lake, or head uphill and meander through the neighborhood. Note that both bathrooms are downstairs - thought our daughter didn't mind swapping stairs for her privacy in the loft! The LR was very cosy and comfortable. We enjoyed it!

Charming modern mountain home

This home was perfect for our family of 5. The living area with nice kitchen, breakfast bar, up to date furniture and great view of the trees was perfect for watching the snow and hanging out. We would have preferred one of the bathrooms to be en suite with a master but that’s just being nit-picky. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely rent again.

Great Family Get Away

We stayed here with another family (four adults, three kids) for a week and half. It was a great setup for each of us of to have our own space when needed. We loved sitting out on the porch with our coffee in the morning and walking down to the nearby trailhead. Great location and home!

Excellent Cabin for Spring Break Vacation

Dave and Lori's home in Angel Fire was exactly what we were hoping for during our spring break trip. It was modern, up to date, and very clean. The layout was perfect for what we needed. We have a 15 and 18 year old and we had a great family vacation cooking at home and sitting around the fire in the living room playing games. We were greeted by deer every morning and evening. The property is in a beautiful area and just 5 minutes from the ski basin. Dave and Lori were courteous and available for any questions we had. We will definitely return to Dave and Lori's home for another family vacation!

Wonderful place to stay

We had an absolute amazing vacation staying in David's home! The home was immaculate and provided us with so many of our basic needs. 2019 family Thanksgiving trip

This is an amazing place to stay. It is a very beautiful home and we will definitely stay here again. Easy access to the house even after 2 days of snow and plenty of room for our family. The house has a very well stocked kitchen, very comfortable furniture in the living room and great bedrooms. Tons of movies to watch and games to play when the snow is blowing. Very nice deck that I wish we could have enjoyed more but the snow didn't allow that. A personal call from the owner before our trip made us feel like we were family just borrowing the house for a big weekend. I would have given 10 stars but there are only 5!!!!

Great weekend

Took a 4 day weekend to get away!! David was great and the property was amazing. Very clean and had all of the amenities you need. Parked the truck on Thursday, and it never moved until Sunday when we left. Great weekend and easy to navigate to residence location.

My wife, Lori, and I split our time between Santa Fe, Puerto Vallarta and Angel Fire. We have 2 sons who both live in Denver. We enjoy hiking, cycling, running, etc. We have been fortunate to travel all over the world.

Why they chose this property

We love Angel Fire and the Moreno Valley. The weather in the summer is wonderful for hiking, fishing, golf, rafting, etc. The winters provide great snow for skiing and all other winter activities. You are also close for a days visit to Taos or skiing at Taos ski valley.
In 2015 we completely remodeled this mountain home. We added a bedroom, bathroom, new kitchen, dining area, entry way and wrap around deck. The access to this home is very easy, even with significant snow fall.
